Marvel: Beginning with the Collection of Shinra Tensei

Chapter 145: Chapter 145: Han Yu’s Vigilance

Over time, Galactus, the Devourer of Worlds, came to be jokingly referred to by online fans as the "benchmark for combat power." Whenever a new character appeared in the comics and was said to be strong, people would inevitably ask:

"How many Galactuses can they take on?"

Han Yu had laughed at such comments in his previous life. After all, they were just part of comic book lore. Writers often sacrificed established characters to highlight the strength of new ones—a practice he had grown accustomed to.

But now, faced with such a being in real life, it was a completely different story.

"These deities are multiverse-level entities. They're far beyond anything I can handle right now," Han Yu murmured to himself.

In the Marvel hierarchy of divine power, the levels were: Planetary, Skyfather, Skyfather+, Single Universe, Multiverse, Super-Cosmic, and Omniversal.

Planetary-level beings, like Thor and the Hulk, represented the pinnacle of combat strength on a single planet but couldn't destroy an entire planet with ease.

Skyfather-level, which Thor could achieve later, allowed for significant damage to an entire planet.

Skyfather+, exemplified by Odin, demonstrated the ability to rule and protect realms as vast as the Nine Realms, showing their immense power.

"This girl must be at the Single Universe level. I probably can't beat her as I am now," Han Yu muttered internally.

While Skyfather-level deities could affect galaxies, such as the Milky Way, a Single Universe-level being was a completely different entity.

Even a thousand Skyfather-level gods were like ants before a Single Universe-level deity.

As for Multiverse-level deities, the most famous were the Five Cosmic Entities: Eternity, Infinity, Death, Oblivion, and Galactus.

Currently, Han Yu's power put him at the pinnacle of Skyfather-level, making him nearly invincible among peers at that level. However, this was the Marvel Universe—a place teeming with powerful beings.

For example, the Celestials, an organization of Single Universe-level entities, could wreak havoc on Earth if they ever decided to cause trouble. Han Yu wasn't confident he could stop them.

That said, the mysterious General Store was indestructible. Even if a Super-Cosmic or Omniversal-level god made a move, the store wouldn't suffer a scratch.

These deities might belong to the established Marvel canon, but the General Store existed beyond that framework. While it had no offensive capabilities, it was entirely unbreakable—akin to an "indestructible item" in an online game.

Han Yu fixed his gaze on the girl and asked seriously, "Is your father Galactus?"

Hearing that name, the girl in purple appeared slightly startled. It had been a long time since she'd heard someone mention her father's name, let alone from a human.

Saitama was equally surprised. Did Han Yu actually know her father?

Just as Saitama was about to let his guard down, he noticed something: Han Yu's left thumb remained firmly pressed against the hilt guard of his sheathed sword. He had been on high alert the entire time.

"What kind of identity could this girl have to make even Han Yu so cautious?" Saitama thought to himself, raising his own vigilance. He had no intention of being cannon fodder in this situation.

At that moment, Charles and his group arrived by Han Yu's side. Seeing the enormous crater, Charles couldn't help but feel a pang of heartache. This was a century-old estate, after all.

While the flowers and plants might not have been a hundred years old, they had been meticulously cared for, and now a large section was destroyed. How could he not feel distressed?

"I didn't expect someone on such a remote planet to know his name. Is he really that famous?" the girl in purple remarked.

"Your father survives by devouring planets. What about you? Why have you come to Earth? Are you here for the same reason? Have you set your sights on Earth too?" Han Yu asked in a low voice. If she did have such intentions, it would likely result in a bloody battle. A single universe-level deity was not someone Han Yu dared to underestimate, and he certainly couldn't defeat one in his current state.

"Earth? This is clearly 'Water Planet.' When I was in the air, I saw that most of this planet's surface is covered in oceans, with land making up no more than thirty percent. And yet, you call yourselves 'Earth'? How shameless," the girl scoffed, crossing her arms as she spoke with an audible tsk-tsk.

"That's not the point. Just answer me—are you here to attack Earth?" Han Yu asked, a slight awkwardness creeping into his tone.

In the next moment, the girl in purple vanished from everyone's sight. In the blink of an eye, she was standing directly in front of Han Yu. The sudden movement startled everyone else, causing them to instinctively step back.

Han Yu, however, remained composed, frowning slightly as he locked eyes with the striking girl in front of him, showing no fear.

"Interesting... interesting. I didn't expect anyone on this planet to have the courage to face me without flinching. You've caught my attention," she said, a mischievous smile forming on her lips.

Suddenly, the girl burst into a laugh—a clear, melodious sound that was as pleasant as it was unexpected. She looked like an ordinary, cheerful young girl. Seeing that Han Yu and the others were still on guard, she casually patted Han Yu on the shoulder and said, "Alright, alright, relax. I'm not interested in your planet. I'm not like my father, who would devour an entire planet without caring about the life on it. I was just chasing that dragon and happened to end up here."

Charles and his group all turned their gazes toward Han Yu, waiting for his response. When it came to dealing with extraterrestrial visitors, they had no clue how to handle the situation. It was better to follow Han Yu's lead.

"So, you're here purely because you were chasing food?" Han Yu asked.

"Of course. What else? You think I came here to eat people?" the girl replied.

Hearing this, a faint smile tugged at the corners of Han Yu's lips. An amusing idea had formed in his mind. "How about this—you stick with me, and I'll take care of your meals. What do you say?"

"You? Don't be ridiculous. The food you eat is nothing like what I need. My energy requirements are enormous. Even if you gave me a million servings of your food, I'd still be starving," the girl huffed dismissively.

Her logic was sound, but Han Yu didn't rush to argue. Instead, he gave her a slight smile, raised one hand, and spread his fingers wide. A strand of pink flame rose from his palm.

With his other hand, Han Yu began pulling various items out of the General Store's system, tossing them into the flame. Sometimes it was bizarrely shaped herbs; other times, it was large chunks of golden, glowing meat. This process went on for several minutes before Han Yu finally stopped.

As the flame dissipated, several round, glossy pellets remained in his hand. They gave off a fragrant aroma—a mix of fresh grass and savory meat.

"Here, try this. I guarantee you'll like it," Han Yu said confidently.
