Marvel: AS A PRINCE IN ASGARD

Chapter 10: CHAPTER 10

The violent trembling of Ragna's body did not escape the notice of the lone scavengers.

"What's happening to this kid?"

"Hey, boy! Put your hands on your head and squat down, now!"

The lone scavengers shouted, but Ragna ignored them completely.

Seeing that Ragna didn't respond, the cautious scavengers didn't hesitate—they attacked him directly.

After all, the Aesir were known for their durability, and they weren't likely to die easily. They could always patch him up later.

Energy beams flew toward Ragna, kicking up a massive cloud of dust.

Within the dust, Ragna's figure gradually became obscured.

"Damn brat, stay down already!"

"Haha, he's definitely feeling that barrage. I just hope he's not too injured. If he's crippled, he won't fetch a good price."

"Relax, the Aesir are tough as nails!"

The lone scavengers laughed lightly, having already witnessed the battle between Ragna and Valkyrie.

While both fighters were strong, their power hadn't exceeded the scavengers' expectations.

After all, none of the scavengers who roamed the junkyard alone, with their own ships, were weak.

As the dust began to settle, Ragna's figure didn't collapse to the ground. Instead, he stood taller than ever.

"How is he still standing?"

"Impossible! Even for an Aesir, that barrage should've been enough to take him down!"

"Damn it, fire again! Another round!"

Shocked, the lone scavengers prepared to attack Ragna once more.

But at that moment, Ragna sharply raised his head, his eyes flashing with a continuous golden light.

Ragna grinned at the lone scavengers and said, "Welcome to witness the birth of the Sun God! Solar Strike!"

"How is this possible? Third-tier divine power?" one of the more knowledgeable scavengers exclaimed, startled by the golden light in Ragna's eyes.

Third-tier power was enough to make a name for oneself across the entire universe. The rulers of weaker civilizations and the elite warriors of super civilizations often only reached the third tier.

On Sakaar, that level of power was enough to become a champion!

"Run!" the scavenger shouted urgently, immediately starting his ship's engines to make a quick escape.

He wasn't on good enough terms with the other scavengers to worry about saving their lives.

He simply understood that if they stayed together, they'd all be wiped out in a single blow. If they scattered, they might buy themselves a little more time.

When the remaining lone scavengers saw that something was wrong with Ragna and heard the word "run," none of them hesitated. They immediately started their spacecraft and prepared to scatter and escape.

Being cautious and valuing their lives were the keys to survival for these lone scavengers.

But unfortunately, they were too slow!

Ragna's attack wasn't just a single strike.

Four beams of solar flame descended from the sky, radiating intense heat. In an instant, the four spacecraft were reduced to ashes.

"The temperature isn't bad, but it still doesn't match the true power of the sun," Ragna remarked, looking at the vaporized spacecraft with satisfaction.

He understood that to truly unleash the power of the sun, his divine power would need to reach at least the fourth tier.

After all, the temperature at the sun's core can reach 15 million degrees Celsius!

A true solar eruption could vaporize an entire planet in an instant.

"My God, what a waste! Do you know how much wine that could've bought? Your Majesty!"

The unconscious Valkyrie woke up as Ragna's divine power surged. She stared at the four vaporized spacecraft and the four lone scavengers, lamenting the waste.

"From now on, stop drinking!" Ragna glanced at the battered Valkyrie and used the power of the sun to heal her injuries.

After all, Valkyrie was now his servant.

"As you command, Your Majesty," Valkyrie replied with a respectful salute.

"A little more light, please. It's so comforting!"

"Shut up!"

"Understood, Your Majesty!"

The Valkyrie's name was Valina. After Ragna had rejected Option 1 and the Soul Castle, there was no way for him to acquire a new Valkyrie.

Valina, who was referred to as a servant but was more of a subordinate, piloted the spacecraft into the living quarters of Sakaar.

The first thing they saw was a lively and bustling scene.

A large crowd of residents sang and danced in the streets, celebrating the Desert Death God—a sheep-headed demon.

They were rejoicing because, earlier that day, the Desert Death God had defeated yet another challenger, helping them win a fortune.

In the living quarters of Sakaar, aside from those who worked directly for the Grandmaster, most residents were either fighters or gamblers.

The outcome of the arena battles fueled a massive gambling industry.

Every day, countless people either struck it rich or went bankrupt because of their bets.

Those who lost everything were either driven out of the living quarters to become food or scavengers in the junkyard, or sold to the Grandmaster to become slave fighters, their lives no longer their own.

Behind Sakaar's seemingly prosperous facade lay endless darkness.

But Ragna had no intention of overthrowing it. This was Sakaar—a place of exile and oblivion.

The universe was full of darkness, and civilizations had always been cruel. Ragna couldn't change that.

After all, even Asgard had risen to the top of the Nine Realms by stepping on the blood and tears of countless civilizations.

Moreover, most of Sakaar's residents had been exiled there for committing serious crimes.

"I want to sign up for the Blood Battles," Ragna declared as he approached the arena's registration desk.
