Marvel 1919 : Rise of an Empire

By the time George had fully absorbed all the knowledge he had accumulated over the previous period, it was already 1970.

During these past few years, George had primarily accomplished two significant tasks: first, he cultivated the Pulse Xenomorph, and second, he constructed a battleship incorporating his combined technological achievements.

Through George's continuous experimentation, he discovered that the most suitable Zerg for Xenomorph parasitism was the Scorpion Zerg.

Although the Warriors and Jumpers among the Zerg enhanced the Xenomorph's lethality and hardened its exoskeleton after being parasitized by Xenomorphs, they did not possess particularly outstanding characteristics in comparison.

Parasitizing the Pulse Electro-Scorpion yielded dramatically different results.

The new variant, which George designated the Pulse Xenomorph, not only perfectly inherited the Xenomorph's advantages of rapid movement, keen reflexes, and exceptional hunting skills, but also acquired the Pulse Electro-Scorpion's pulse cannon and reinforced carapace.

Its already razor-sharp claws could now effortlessly tear through one-centimeter-thick steel plating.

The Pulse Xenomorph exceeded ordinary Xenomorphs in size, reaching 3.5 meters when standing upright, and its dark carapace had transformed into a matte black finish.

The most dramatic change manifested in the Xenomorph's tail, the originally slender appendage had become substantially thicker.

Beyond retaining its piercing capability, the tail's tip could now separate into four valve-like segments and discharge a concentrated blue pulse ion flame from its center.

As for Zerg variants like the Tank Zerg, which expelled flames from their mouths, they proved unsuitable for parasitism, and their evolved Plasma Zerg were even less compatible.

Therefore, after extensive comparison, George ultimately selected this particular combination.

George designated separate activity zones for the two races on Satellite No. 2, as peaceful coexistence remained impossible.

As long as neither the Xenomorph Queen nor the Zerg Queen suffered harm, appropriate competition would benefit the development of both species.

The previously acquired technologies from the Predator spacecraft, including shield technology, stealth capabilities, and wormhole generation systems, all required substantial time to integrate and modify existing equipment.

George also constructed a space battleship modeled precisely after the SWSC-1 Olympus Mons from a game he had played in his previous life called Call of Duty, naming it the Predator.

The entire battleship measured 927 meters in length, 151 meters in height, and possessed a wingspan of 275 meters.

Its maximum thrust velocity reached 250,000 kilometers per hour, and it could accommodate 1,500 crew members within comprehensive living quarters.

The vessel carried thirty carrier-based aircraft and six escort ships, while the entire battleship's armor plating measured 128 millimeters thick.

The primary propulsion system consisted of two multi-port aft engine arrays, while eight vertical takeoff and landing thruster bays positioned on the ship's ventral surface formed the reaction control system.

The battleship featured fifty high-rate-of-fire rapid-firing autocannons, twenty-four missile launch arrays, and one retractable central cannon weapon.

The entire spacecraft bristled with armaments. Naturally, George had not omitted the wormhole generation equipment, energy defense systems, and stealth technology, installing them all.

This battleship incorporated the full extent of George's technological expertise. Unlike the original design, George had arranged strengthening arrays and deflection arrays throughout the entire battleship's outer hull.

The strengthening arrays, as their name suggested, rendered the entire spacecraft more resilient, while the deflection arrays redirected attacks striking the energy shields.

With matters on Ancient Star temporarily concluded, George prepared to return to Earth for a period of rest.

After George's return to Earth, he lived peacefully on Hogwarts Island for an extended period. Of course, the dynamics of various forces did not escape George's vigilant observation.

First, Soviet scientist Anthony Vanko had been accused of espionage and subsequently deported.

Howard Stark had already perfected a large-scale reactor, and rumors suggested he was recently preparing to rebuild Stark Industries.

George estimated that Stark must have already discovered a new element, though due to the material limitations of this era, the experiment could not advance further.

Then there was Peggy Carter, who, after working diligently to achieve the position of Deputy Director, gradually began withdrawing from active duty.

S.H.I.E.L.D.'s official report stated that Carter had embarked on an undercover mission, but the actual situation revealed that after discovering her friend Howard Stark was also researching the Super Soldier Serum, she had become disillusioned and placed herself in cryogenic suspension.

George also learned that HYDRA had already begun establishing roots across various sectors within the United States, particularly in economic and administrative departments.

This development was not difficult to comprehend, with access to numerous advanced technologies, HYDRA could easily establish business footholds, and extending its influence to city councils through commercial ventures became considerably simpler.

However, their reach extended only so far. In this timeline, due to George's intervention, many sectors, both public and clandestine, remained under George's tight control.

Even with robust support from the U.S. government, Stark Industries could only acquire contracts that George deliberately abandoned, perpetually following in George's wake.

Currently, major capital forces in the United States were predominantly controlled by George, with various other large families occupying a portion, Stark Industries claiming another segment, and finally, smaller capital interests filling the remainder.

Even within Stark Industries, Howard himself held only thirty-five percent of the shares. Additional shares floated on the stock market, while another portion remained controlled by various forces, both openly and covertly.

It wasn't until Jia Ying called, reporting urgent matters requiring his attention, that George finally departed the castle.

At the company headquarters, George settled onto the sofa, listening intently to Jia Ying's account.

It emerged that the company's transport vessels had been suddenly attacked while sailing normally through the Atlantic Ocean, resulting in the deaths of all fifty-plus crew members aboard two cargo ships.

Bucky and his Squad had already departed to investigate. According to surveillance footage, after hearing a particular whistle, the crew members appeared to enter a hypnotic state, all leaping into the sea from the ships before drowning.

After extensive discussion, both investigators found the matter extremely troubling and lacking immediate leads, prompting them to report directly to George.

"Besides the personnel, were there any other losses?" George inquired.

"No, the ships have already been reassigned and relocated," Jia Ying replied.

"Very well, I understand. Leave this matter to me," George declared.

In truth, the moment Jia Ying finished describing the surveillance findings, George had already identified the perpetrator of this incident.

Hearing George's confident response, Jia Ying felt considerable relief.

Although she remained uncertain about George's true capabilities, she had witnessed the formidable strength of Bucky and his team.

"Actually..." Seeing George rise to leave, Jia Ying quickly attempted to interject.

"What's the matter?" George asked, noting Jia Ying's hesitant expression.

"Boss, was this done by Inhumans?" Jia Ying asked cautiously, knowing that the only race possessing such special abilities was the Inhumans.

After Jia Ying had joined the company, George had informed her about the Obelisk and the Inhuman race.

Coincidentally, the following year, she encountered a female Inhuman named Rosa Carnian, who possessed the ability to sense the presence of other Inhumans.

Moreover, numerous Inhumans had gradually gathered around Jia Ying with Rosa's assistance.

Who among the Inhumans possessed greater wealth than Jia Ying?

As CEO of Star Group, Jia Ying's income was undoubtedly substantial.

"No, don't worry," George understood Jia Ying's concern and explained, "If I'm not mistaken, this should be the work of members of the Atlantean race. I still need to investigate the specifics personally."

"That's reassuring," Jia Ying said, finally allowing herself to relax.
