Wang Feng's eyes widened as he saw the two new missions, their contents and their rewards. "F*ck!!". Not to mention the 'Pioneer' mission and it's unknown rewards, that he was sure would be exceptional.

He was more focused on the 3rd mission 'First Kill' and it's rewards. 'is it what I think it is...?', he couldn't wait for even a second and quickly opened his inventory where he found two new objects.

Wang Feng's body trembled with excitement as he read the description of both items, he was so excited that ended up laughing out loud, "Hahahahahaha"

He regained his bearing a few minutes later as he digested the information. He hurriedly wanted to take out the Talisman, but stopped and thought of doing that in a more secure place.

His mind then focused on the other reward, "So there's a treasure in the Black Wind Mountain... Should I go there now?...", Wang Feng thought for a moment.

He wanted to explore the core area right now, but there were too many variables. This area was only at the edge of the inner area of the mountain and he encountered a Peak Tier 1 monster beast here. He could only think that there might be Tier 3 or Tier 4 monsters in the core area of the mountain.

This mountain was after all used as the training ground for sect desciples of the three sects, from Ordinary Desciples and Core/True Desciples. So there must be stronger monster beast in the core region.

After a few minutes of contemplation, Wang Feng dismissed the idea of going there for now and wait till he broke through the Qi Sea Realm. He shook his head and stood up.

he stood there and looked at the Mystic Tranquility Flower and the Snake Corpse, "*Hah* well, time to finish the work."

He walked towards the herb before carefully picking it and storing it in his inventory. He then came towards the snake and cut open it's body. "*Ugh* man this is nauseous."

He extracted it's gallbladder, which can be exchanged for sect points, and a small, slightly bigger than a pill, sized bead from it's body. This was it's monster core. After the extraction was completed, Wang Feng washed himself in the lake before turning around and walking away.

— Timeskip (21 Days) —

Wang Feng stood across a wolf monster beast. The beast looked bloody and injured while Wang Feng's clothes were worse for wear and he had a few cuts and bruises on his face and arms.

The wolf howled and released a torrent of wind blades from it's mouth that reached for Wang Feng. Wang Feng remained calm and waited till the wind blades we're near him, before he sent a sudden burst of Blood Qi into his legs and waist.

He then jumped, maneuvered and sprinted through the wind blades with practiced steps, avoiding each and every wind blades before he reached near the wolf.

Just as he was five feet away from the wolf, he jumped, or that is what it looked like. He ducked under the wolf, which fell for the feint, and punched right on it's neck using his technique Focus Punch.

Instantly, the wolf loudly whimpered and it's throat got crushed and it violently collided with the tree behind it, laying still after that.

"*Fuee* that was honestly alot easier than those previous Tiger and Ox.", Wang Feng muttered as he stretched his arms above his head. He then cut open the wolf's body, extracting it's fur, claws, fangs, Monster Core and some meat.

He then rested for a bit to the side and applied Blood Clotting Cream on his wounds. "I've been in the mountain for 20-21 days, fighting monsters beasts. Now ... I think it is time to go back."

He muttered to himself as he watched the moving clouds in the sky while leaning against a tree. So, after recovering for an hour, he stood up and walked down the Black Wind Mountain.

During the walk, he looked at his harvest, "inventory..."

He also had other things like the herbs he had collected, the useful part of Monster Beast's body along with the meat of a few monsters he killed, like the wolf meat now, along with Ox and Tiger meat.

During these days, he had also refined the Death Substitution Talisman by using his blood. Now, it will activate on itself upon his death.

He walked for a few hours before he reached the sect gates. He took out a bag and swung it over his shoulder before he entered through the sect gates after showing his desciple token to the guards and went to the mission hall to submit the herbs mentioned in the mission, which gained him 54 points. With all of the submitted ones being Common Grade herbs.

The elder in charge looked at his current appearance, although he himself was clean, his clothes had cuts and torn pieces on several areas. So the elder told him to get a new set of uniform from the Outer Hall.

All the time that Wang Feng was inside the Hall, he was restraining his aura to properly match that of a 9th Stage Tempering Body Realm.

He learned to do this during this short training trip, considering the fact that he had to be on constant guard and keep his presence low in case he encountered a difficult situation.

This ability came to him quite naturally and allowed him to have a great amount of control on his passive aura, though, only to a certain extent, like he can't raise his aura over his own cultivation.

After getting a uniform from the Outer Hall, he went to the Treasurer Hall. Upon entering, he saw Meng Wu Ya leaning against his chair with his eyes closed, this time without the lewd smirk on his face.

Wang Feng walked to the desk and seeing that the Old Man was normally sleeping and not being a creep, he decided to be civil. Wang Feng knocked on the table a few times which woke Meng Wu Ya up as he looked at him.

"Oh, Feng brat, you're back from your training?", he asked Wang Feng as he leaned forward. Wang Feng nodded and told him, "yeah, just came back.", he placed his bag down, which was actually empty.

Wang Feng continued, "it was quite the experience, fighting Monster Beast's left and right.", Wang Feng finished as he placed his hand into the bag before accessing his inventory and placing them on the table, seemingly pulling them out of the bag.

Meng Wu Ya laughed at his words in a humorous tone. "That's how you should be brat, young and adventurous." He spoke as he watched Wang Feng place one item after another in the table, "you seem to have had your hands full in the last few days..."

Wang Feng chuckled at Meng Wu Ya's remark. It took a minute to place all the items of the monster beasts he had on the desk. Meng Wu Ya looked at the various items and asked, "No Monster Beast Core?"

Wang Feng replied, "not going to exchange...", he kept the cores because he had a feeling that he could make use of them once he started his profession training.

He then looked around and asked, "Do you have a Earth Grade Yang Attribute herb?", Meng Wu Ya raised an eyebrow and said, "I should have one...", Meng Wu Ya chose not to ask why.

He looked at a certain cabin and waved his hand. Following that, the cabin mystically opened and a few herbs flew out and dropped on the table. "See for yourself."

Wang Feng looked at the three herbs in front of him. One of the herb was a flower, one was a type of grass and the last was a ginseng. Wang Feng looked at the ginseng with interest, "you have a 180 years old Sun Blood Ginseng!"

Wang Feng said that while picking up the herb and observing it's quality. This Ginseng was a High-Grade Earth Grade Herb of Pure Yang Attribute. He then paused and looked at Meng Wu Ya and asked, "how much for the herb?"

Meng Wu Ya shamelessly answered without a thought, "80 Contribution Points." Wang Feng looked at him with narrowed eyes and shouted, "Shameless! Old Man! A Mid-Grade Earth Herb only costs 50 points! And you want 80 points for a High Grade!?"

Meng Wu Ya kept a straight face and replied, "although that's the case, this one is a pure Yang Attribute Herb that has nearly reached the Top-Grade... Besides, with your points and the things you brought. You will have plenty to spare.", he finished while waving his hand in left and right.

Wang Feng's eyes twitched, 'So he was after that!?'. He looked at Meng Wu Ya and stated, "60 points." Meng Wu Ya snorted upon hearing the price Wang Feng offered and said, "brat, If you don't want to buy then don't. No less than 75 points!"

Wang Feng placed his hands on the desk and leaned forward, "62 points." Meng Wu Ya's eyes twitched but he replied, "74 points." Wang Feng looked at him seriously for a moment before saying, "alright."

Meng Wu Ya smiled and thought, 'your too young to bargain with me Feng boy.', just as he was about to confirm the transection.... Wang Feng spoke.

"Keep your herb to yourself....", he turned around and walked towards the door in fake depression, while grinning secretly, "... I'll just go.... *Haah* (in a slightly low voice) I'll tell Senior Sister Xia that old man was bulling me."

*Bang*

Wang Feng played his ultimate trump card and Meng Wu Ya's eyes instantly widened. He shot up from his seat and said, "Fine! 65 points!". Wang Feng stopped and looked back while inwardly grinning, 'take that old man.'

"I said 60", he said. Causing Meng Wu Ya to grind his teeth before he sighed and agreed while dropping back on his seat. Wang Feng smiled brightly and took the herb before looking at Meng Wu Ya. He mischievously asked, "how many points do I still have?"

Meng Wu Ya's hand twitched before he looked at a register and found his name. Seeing the detail and calculating the recent transactions, he looked up at Wang Feng with grievance, "Wang Feng, Ordinary Desciple, Points .... 286."

Wang Feng grinned. He already had more than a hundred points before. Now with the things he brought back along with the mission reward, he gained more than 200 points, from which he brought the herb as well.
