Martial Peak: Origin Chaos Emperor

Wang Feng took the final step off the sect mountain and walked forward. He walked in between the patches of trees, on a walkway that lead from the sect mountain to the Black Wind Town and Market.

"This area feels peaceful...", Wang Feng muttered as he walked along. He then reached a three-way intersection, one leading to the sect, one leading to the Black Wind Town and the third leading to another intersection which lead to the Black Wind Market.

After reaching the intersection, he strayed from the walkway and entered the woods. After reaching a clearing, he looked ahead and saw a mountain in the distance, which was his destination.

He took out a map from his inventory and looked at it. "According to the map, the safest way to enter the Black Wind Mountain would be this way...", he muttered while looking to his left side.

He then looked at the right side and took the map back, "... So it means that I'll be going this way then." Wang Feng's main purpose was to come out and fight against monster beasts, so it would defeat the reason if he chose a safe way.

"*Fuee* this is going to be the first time encountering a monster beast after that....", Wang Feng muttered as he walked ahead, his thoughts drifting to the time his village was attacked by monster beasts.

After walking for more than two hours, Wang Feng reached the edge of the mountain without any disturbance. So he continued and walked forward before he came across a herb that was mentioned in the sect mission.

He plucked it with care and stored it in his inventory. "This is the first herb that I found after walking entering the mountain and that too after an hour... *Hah* well, let's go deeper into the mountain."

Wang Feng then continued walking. In the next few hours, he collected many common grade herbs but didn't encounter any monster beasts.

"It's been hours! Why is it so hard to find even a single monster beast here!? Isn't this supposed to be the dangerous way!", Wang Feng shouted in frustration. He didn't think that such a simple task would be so difficult.

What he overlooked, however, was the fact that this place didn't have an abundance of Qi and because of that only a few monster beasts lived in the Outermost Area of the Mountain.

Wang Feng sighed and decided to just search for herbs. After a few minutes of walking, he felt a small change in the density of Qi and came across a large pond. Near that pond was a blue colored flower growing, this was a herb, Mystic Tranquility Flower. A water and yin type High-Earth Grade herb.

Wang Feng's eyes widened as he saw the flower, "an Earth Grade Herb? ....", Even the aura of the herb made him feel a sense of coldness and tranquility. He slowly started walking towards the herb, acting carefully.

Why? He knew where there were herbs or other treasures, there would mostly be a creature guarding it, who had taken interest in that certain item.

As he approached the herb, he neither saw nor felt any kind of movement near him, which involuntarily caused him to lower his guard a bit. But as he was near the flower, just besides the pond, something happened.

Something suddenly lunged forward from the pond, right at him. Wang Feng saw a blur of movement from the corner and quickly tried to retreat, causing him to shift back a little. But he suddenly felt as if his body was hit with something hard and long like a whip, which sent him flying for a few meters.

He crashed into a tree and coughed out a mixture of saliva and slight blood, holding his right side. "*Ughhhh* F*ck, d*mn It...", he felt a great deal of pain in his body, but luckily, none of his bones were broken from the forceful impact.

He looked ahead and his eyes shot open as he jumped to the side with a burst of Blood Qi, seeing the thing that attacked him crash into the tree he was laying against just a second ago.He then jumped a few steps back and clearly saw what the creature was.

The creature was more than half-meter wide and more than 10 meters long, blue snake. The snakes scales shone luminously, even under the sunlight. It's eyes were green and had sharp jaws.

The snake looked at him and hissed, the snake's tongue flicked in and out of his mouth. This combined with it's sharp jaws and cold eyes, sent a chill down Wang Feng's spine.

At the same time, Wang Feng understood something, 'FUCK!! So I barely dodged the snake's jaws TWICE!!', Wang Feng's mind replayed the scenes, one was when he shifted his body near the pond.

The second time was when he jumped to the side and the snake's jaws bit onto the tree. This realization made his eyes widen and dilated, his breath hitched and sweat covered his entire body as it shook.

All this happened but Wang Feng didn't look away from the snake and although he felt fear, it was not to the point of paralyzing him.

He knew that it would be dangerous to look away from the snake as it could attack him at any moment. He quickly used his perception and saw the strength of the snake.

'It's at the Peak of 1st Tier (initial element realm)!? FUCK MY LUCK!', Wang Feng thought as he started flowing Blood Qi in his body. The Qi lowered the sense of threat he sub-consciously got from the near death realization and pumped his body with a new sense of vigour.

The snake seemed to have discovered Wang Feng's Blood Qi, making it's eyes flash with hunger and excitement. It then narrowed it's cold eyes while hissing before it suddenly zipped forward.

This time, Wang Feng didn't want to dodge. 'i fucking came here to fight, so let's fight!!', he screamed as he took a stance that would make it easier for him to punch and move around.

The snake was upon him in just two-three seconds and it aimed it's wide open jaws towards Wang Feng's shoulder and neck. Wang Feng reacted and rolled slightly to the side to dodge the jaws and punched out with his Blood Qi enhanced fist.

"Haa!!", the punch connected to the snake's wide body, making it screech as it thrashed it's tail at Wang Feng who blocked it with his forearms, but was still sent sliding back a few steps.

But he didn't get time as he jumped to the side to avoid as the snake turned it's head and flashed towards him again. Wang Feng looked coldly at the snake and clenched his fists tightly.

'I can do this. Although the snake is the worst type of monster beast for me to fight right now, it is also the one that can give me more threatening battle experience.', Wang Feng calculated coldly as he saw the snake hiss angrily and leap towards him again.

A snake type monster beast is a deadly monster beast for inexperienced and experienced partitioners. Snake beasts have a natural flexibility that make their movements unpredictable, they are extremely fast in their attacks and coupled with their tough skins and scales, they are one of the greatest predators.

Wang Feng saw the snake come nearer him, the snake moved swiftly and lunged at Wang Feng with his jaws open again, this time aiming for the head. 'Not yet...', Wang Feng thought.

Just as the snake was a few inches away from him, Wang Feng erupted with Blood Qi and twisted his body to avoid the jaw and clenched his fist. The Blood Qi rolled and gathered into his fist, covering it in a redish shine before Wang Feng punched the snake at 3.2 meters lower than it's head, where it's heart should be located, 'Focus Punch!!'.

Instantly, the snake screeched loudly, it voice conveyed it's pain, and was sent flying back. Wang Feng didn't stop and slammed his feet on the ground, propelling him towards the snake at a great burst of speed.

The snake squirm from the pain before it turned and lunged at Wang Feng again, this time not with the jaws. As Wang Feng came near it, the snake whipped it's tail at him at lightening speed that connected without a problem.

*Ugh* Wang Feng grunted at the unexpected attack and slid back with a deep red mark on his forearms because of the force of the strike. Instantly after the tail whipped him the snake again lunged at him with it's jaws, planning to catch him off guard.

Wang Feng pushed his Blood Qi into his feet and slammed them on the ground, making him jump more than a few meters high into the air. Then while in the air, Wang Feng gathered Blood Qi into his palm and thrusted it towards the snake, 'Vaccum Wave!'.

A wave of air pressure erupted from his palm and struck the snake's head, making it's head hit the ground. Wang Feng used his downwards momentum and bented his knee, landing it directly on the snake's head, between it's eyes.

The snake's body thrashed as it used it's Qi to force Wang Feng aside. Wang Feng leapt aside, breathing slightly ragged. He saw as the snake rose up slowly, blood leaking from it's head.

Wang Feng and the snake looked at each other for a few seconds before the two leaped into battle again. The two clashed again and again.

Wang Feng avoided it's jaws but would get hit by its body, he even got close to getting wrapped in its body. While Wang Feng was landing punches, palms and kicks on the snake.

But as time passed, Wang Feng started to get familiar with the snake's movements and attacks, which decreased the amount of attacks he suffered from the snake.

After nearly 30 minutes of battle, Wang Feng and the Snake finished their battle. The result?

Wang Feng punched out his fist with all his strength on the snake's head with a mighty roar. The snake head, that had suffered multiple times during the battle couldn't hold it anymore and caved it after releasing a crushing sound.

"Hah* *Hah* *Hah* Man, that was *hah* tiring.", Wang Feng muttered as he looked at the body of the snake in front of him. Just as he was about to sit down to relax, he remembered something and swiftly shot up and stood on the snake's 1/3 down the head (place where the heart is).

He then raised both his fists and brought them down, "Focus Punch!". The attack tore through the snake's already weakened body from the previous injuries, causing the skin to rupture. He then ripped it's heart out before storing it in his inventory.

As that happened, the snake's body shook and lightly thrashed before going limp. Only then did Wang Feng sighed and sit down to rest. Snakes have an incredible vitality, so they would still be alive for sometime unless their heart is not destroyed.

If Wang Feng hadn't remembered that, he might have unknowingly gotten biten by the snake while resting. Wang Feng sat there for a few minutes and went through the entire battle in his mind, seeing many errors in there.

"The most stupid thing was to let my guard down when I was near the herb.", he spoke to himself and looked towards the herb. Just then, he heard a familiar 'ding' in his head.
