Chapter 11: World Body Cultivation Art
"I am both glad and relieved to know you feel that way," the old man said.
....
"Can you tell me more about this Tian Ling Zun." Liu Feiyang asked.
"Unfortunately, I possess but a fragment of his memories. Apart from what I've already told you, I only recall a few things from his early years and some of the techniques he used during that time," the old man replied.
"Hmm. Is it him by any chance?" Liu Feiyang placed two fingers on his temple, sharing his recent dream with the old man, as he could no longer remember the man's face clearly.
A few moments later, the old man opened his eyes and said, "It is him. This is an incident from the later years of his life when two royal guards launched a surprise attack on his mountain pass. But I don't understand—how do you have this memory? Even I didn't possess it, and as soon as I saw it, it felt as if a small part of me was uncovered and assimilated, as though it had always been there."
"I… don't know. Just before I entered this space, I had this dream but couldn't recall his face, though now I do. He looks like an older version of you," Feiyang responded.
The old man pondered for a moment before replying, "It seems possible to recover those memories. We just don't know how yet."
"It's better than nothing, and I just remembered that I've been lying outside on the ground for hours. I should leave. See you soon, guys." He waved goodbye to both spirits before departing.
-------
After Liu Feiyang left, the giant sphere above their heads began to shake violently, drawing the attention of both men.
White and the old man tried to stabilize it, but within moments, they realized they had no control over it.
"Hey, hey, hey! What's happening to it all of a sudden?" White asked in a panic.
"I don't understand. It's just a mass of spiritual energy. How can it produce such violent shockwaves, especially right after Liu Feiyang left?" the old man muttered, his brow furrowed.
The shockwaves grew increasingly violent until the sphere finally exploded, creating a thick mist. Surprisingly, the soul space remained undamaged, which had been their primary concern.
The mist quickly converged into two glowing crystals of light, their brilliance so intense that it was difficult for either of them to look directly at them.
Before they could react, the crystals shot toward them and merged into their bodies.
They checked themselves thoroughly but sensed nothing unusual besides stronger spiritual power.
"Umm, what just happened?" White asked, bewildered.
"The sphere was made of spiritual energy. I think we just absorbed it."
"Then why did it happen like that?"
"I don't know."
"Isn't that a lot of 'I don't know's coming out of your mouth in just one day?" White teased.
The old man shot him a look of mild annoyance. "We'll discuss this with Liu Feiyang next time when we begin his training," he said before fading into the shadows.

The Next Day
Liu Feiyang was back at the Destitute Dragon Ravine, meditating in peace.
Liu Feiyang was back at the Destitute Dragon Ravine, meditating in peace. Yesterday, he woke up to find that only a few minutes had passed in the real world, despite the hours he had spent in his mind space. Physical and mental exhaustion had peaked, and it took all his strength to drag himself home to sleep.
He had slept for an entire day before waking up that evening. A few system notifications were waiting for him.

The description about the quincy ability was quite detailed but the same could not be said for the other two, likely because the quincy abilities were more technical.

Inside his Mind Space
"So, the sphere exploded, and the crystals were absorbed into you two. What's the issue? We don't know why it happened, but if it's beneficial, that's great. If not, we'll just have to grow stronger to handle it," Liu Feiyang said after listening to White's explanation.
"Well, you took it better than I expected. But isn't it just because you're eager to start training your new abilities?" White smirked.
"Hehe, you got me. So, when do we start?" Liu Feiyang clapped his hands together and rubbed them, showing his excitement.
"After you reach the Initial Element Realm. You'll need to wait until then," the old man said, pouring cold water on his excitement.
"What?! Why?"
"Because only after reaching the Initial Element Realm will you have enough Qi to begin your training."
"Ugh, fine," Liu Feiyang grumbled, though he understood the reasoning.
"Why the long face? You still have work to do," the old man said, pointing a finger at him. A golden ray of light shot into Liu Feiyang's head.
[Congratulations, the host has received World Body Cultivation Art (Incomplete).]
[Grade - High Rank Open Heaven]
[World Body Cultivation Art - The best Body Cultivation Art of the Dark Spirit Cave Heaven. This art transforms your body into a self-contained world, establishing an endless cycle of Yin-Yang and the Five Elements within. Liu Feiyang was stunned, his eyes glued to the system screen. The old man, mistaking his silence for awe at the technique's profundity, decided to explain further.
"Ahem!" The old man cleared his throat, drawing Liu Feiyang's attention. "This was the technique Tian Ling Zun received from his father. Although it is incomplete, it is still far superior to the technique you currently possess and will serve as a better foundation for tempering your body."
"Awesome! But wait... do I need to collect treasures of all elements to cultivate it?"
"Not until you reach the Qi transformation realm."
"Then let's start right now!" Liu Feiyang said before exiting the mind space.
-------
At The Dragon Ravine
Liu Feiyang recalled the secret art from the memory. He saw several martial stances and forms, similar to those in Tempered Body Record but far more extreme. One could easily see they were much harder to perform.
First Stance: Sun and Moon

'Let's give it a shot.' He took a deep breath, feeling the energy flow through him. With a steady exhale, he relaxed his mind, his body firm and ready to strengthen.
He shifted into the stance. His muscles tensed, his body trembling slightly as he fought to hold the position. For a few seconds, he managed it—his form steady, his focus unbroken.
But then, "UH HUH! "his balance wavered, his legs gave out, and he landed face-first on the ground.
As he lay there, gasping for air, he could feel the searing pain throughout his body, as if his muscles and bones were being ripped apart.
'Why is this technique so abnormal? I feel like my whole body is being torn apart.'
'It is because it is restructuring your body which was previously adjusted to fit a yang attribute body tempering art that it is causing much more pain than it should have but worry it, you will be fine after the few days.' Old man spoke to him through his mind.
'Now I am regretting my decision to steal the black book from Yang Kai even more. He could have benefitted more from the Golden Skeleton and Tempered Body Record.' He would have never stolen it if he knew he could get his own Body Cultivation Technique.
'Well, No crying over spilled milk, dude and you still haven't got that Golden Eye of Annihilation.' he said too himself and got back up to try again.
He shifted into the stance and roared, "World Body Cultivation Art, First Form: Moon and Sun!"
Instantly, his body began to change. Joints and tendons cracked loudly, his meridians snapping into place as they realigned into a stronger, more refined structure. Energy surged through him, violent and unrelenting.(image)
For over a minute, he held the stance, his body trembling but unyielding. The air around him rippled with power, waves of energy radiating outward.(image)
Finally, his body gave out. He was thrown backward, rolling across the ground until he crashed into a nearby tree. Coughing violently, he spat out a mouthful of black-red blood, the technique purifying the body to an even higher state.
Liu Feiyang grinned, feeling a surge of satisfaction from his progress. Without hesitation, he threw himself into the stance once more, shouting, "Again! The Sun and Moon Style!"
His voice echoed through the forest, startling a flock of birds into flight. Their wings flapped wildly as they scattered into the sky, leaving behind a trail of rustling leaves.
Unnoticed by him, a figure watched from a nearby tree branch. A girl in a flowing purple dress, her face hidden behind a black mask, observed his movements with her sharp eyes. Her gaze followed every twist and turn of his strange forms, her expression unreadable but her thoughts clear.
"Why has brother Feiyang been acting so strange for the past month?" she murmured to herself, her voice barely above a whisper. "I should inform the master about it."
With a final glance at Liu Feiyang, she melted into the shadows, disappearing as quietly as she had arrived.
