Malevolent Warlock: Sin Of Eternity

Chapter 329: solution

"So that was the power of the elemental school?" Leon muttered under his breath while scratching his nose while laying on a bed. This was his first encounter with one of the giants of finor and in his heart it was terrifying.

There were close to a dozen transcendent beings chasing them back there, and if not for Elara they would have definitely been caught. To think this was but the tip of the iceberg.

"There's also her" Leon muttered under his breath, by her he meant Elara. That girl was not only crazy, she was powerful. From killing those beasts to that monsterous attack to the transcendent beings. She was terrifying.

"Hey, are your done daydreaming?" All of a sudden, a young feminine voice resounded from the corner of the room forcing Leon to look with the corner of his eyes.

It was the little maid girl.

"What do you want?" Leon sqiunted his brows.

This little twerp seemed to have some sort of hatred for him ever since he got here. Though she looked cute her general behavior was insufferable.

"The mistress has summoned you" The young maid said in a condescending tone, as if speaking through her nose.

She was pissed off by Leon's presence but over time she could only accept it. At least for now.

"Okay I'll be there" Leon nodded calmly but didn't get off the bed, instead he waited with a smile on his face as he watched the little girl with black inky hair fume.

Leon was sitting there like nothing happened, even though the mistress had clearly just called for his presence. This was one of the reasons she hated him.

"I don't have all day, please get up!!" She screamed.

Leon had no real regard for the mistress, only politeness. He did not respect her nor show gratitude as if staying here was a right. Did he not know how many sought the knowledge held by her mistress? Did he not know how sort after this library was? He was a fool.

Of course, Leon didn't know a lot of the things she was angry about, but what he did know was that it pissed this little imp off, and that was enough joy for him.

"Hey, can't you see I'm busy here? I'll be with you in a minute" Leon looked to her and sneered before turning back to do absolutely nothing.

Meanwhile in a large open room in the middle of the library, Elara could be seen in a lab coat stiring a bottle of a greenish liquid.

She had at this moment a massive orb surrounded by 6 rings infront of her, and a round table that spiraled in the middle of the library.

"You're here…" Elara smiled as she turned to Leon, In the light of the library and the cascading sunlight from outside Elaras skin looked bronze a perfect shaded mix with ivory.

"Yes," Leon smirked as he slowly walked forward. He had cleaned this place for weeks and thought he knew every nock and cranny, but unfortunately no matter how much he tried he couldn't quite get everything.

For example, he had never been to a his place before.

"Welcome" Elara smirked picking up the bottle before moving to another stand.

"You called for me?" Leon asked looking at Elara as she moved around.

She had a beautiful loose gown on, but for some reason it gave a lot of definition to her shape, watching her gown sway as she moved stirred a strange feeling in Leon's heart that he quickly buried.

"Ehn? Yes, you are needed" Elara raised her head and looked over at Leon with the sides of her eyes as if she could read his thoughts.

Then all of a sudden she looked away once again.

After a few seconds though she was done.

"So….i found a solution to your little problem" she turned to him and said.

Leon still had a dragon growing inside of him threatening to burst out at any moment. This thing well she could only imagine how traumatizing it was for a man, but did she really care? Well yeah. To An extent….

She wanted to study it.

But time was of the essence.

"Really?!!" Leon's expression changed into one of shock then all of a sudden excitement. He had been having sleepless nights over this issue for a while, is she had really found a solution then he could be the happiest man alive!!

"Yes, but first…much more important stuff" Elara saw the look on Leon's face and turned to the maid girl beside him.

As het gaze landed on her Leon suddenly felt something leave his waist causing him to react instinctively by grabbed outwards.

"Shithead!!" Leon frowned

The little maid had just taken his grimoire from his side without him noticing on time.

"Calm down I'll give it back" Elara smiled looking at the grimoire that had just been handed to her.

"Hmm this is why we're stuck here" she muttered with a bitter smile.

This library was a wonder of finor world, in the sense that it didn't have a permanent position. It could be in the mountains today, and tomorrow in the sea.

Leon would have noticed it since they moved from the wall to the western mountains in a few days. However for a while now it had been bugging out.

In fact they were still somewhere in the western mountains.

At it was all because of this thing.

Elara quickly stored the grimoire in a glass case and stepped back.

In the next second the scene and sunlight cascading into the room disappeared, replaced by much more scattered light pattern.

"Good we're out of there" Elara smiled then took out the grimoire and walked over to Leon.

"Here you go" she handed over without a care in the world.

"Thank you" from beginning to end Leon couldn't say a word only stare. All this had happened too quickly even for him.

"That little twerp" Leon cursed. There were very few people that could pull such on him without him noticing, it was very annoying.

Did that mean she could probably assassinate him if she wanted? He immediately placed his guard up towards the annoying maid.

"So, I found a way to solve your problem," Elara spoke up calling Leon's attention.

"One of them I like very much, the other not so much" she continued bringing out a scroll and placing the bottle of green liquid beside it.
