Chapter 59 Library
I had no valid reason to go to the bathroom, but nonetheless, I still went; I wasn't going to bathe again; I would just stop by on my way to the library.
"Are you going somewhere?" Mia asked.
"Yes, the library" I replied.
I exited the room and slowly walked towards the end of the hallway, and once I got to the bathroom I opened the door and walked in.
Mirabel was in the water staring at me, but I could only see her head. Half of the water was frozen on the top and impossible to see through, and she was underneath it with only her head outside.
She was putting effort into hiding herself; now I had no idea what to do. I couldn't just walk out. She'd know I came here just to look at her naked body.
"Is something wrong?" Mirabel asked as I looked around.
"No, nothing, I thought I left something here," I replied as I walked to one edge of the bathroom.
[Inventory]
I brought out a gold coin from my inventory and raised it, "Found it, carry on" I spoke as I quickly exited the bathroom.
Why is the princess concerned about someone seeing her naked? This definitely wasn't the first time she was bathing with ice covering her, and another thing, she had an elemental attribute.
I still had a date with Freya. Well, I wouldn't call it a date as I'm just going to bang her, but the system would most likely bring a flame spell as her strongest.
Ice and water users are weak to flame, but it also works the other way around; the only problem with water spells is creating it; it consumes a significant amount of Mana.
Even though the princess would have a considerably large amount of Mana, I'm sure it'll still be a problem.
Currently, I was walking towards the library, which was not that far from the dorms; the dorm didn't just contain all of us; it had other floors that were used by the second and third-year students, but they were currently away.
I haven't gone to the library before, but I'm sure it contains basic spell books; initially, after I went for the magic check and I was at stage three, I never thought about learning magic.
I mean, what use is there when I would only be able to cast maybe three or two fireballs before I collapsed due to lack of Mana, and if I pushed myself too much, I might end up dead.
But now, with the system's ability to increase my base Mana level, maybe I could break through to stage four, so I should learn basic spells.
I checked my natural affinity a while back, and I had an affinity for wind magic. With the system, I would be able to copy magic of any kind, but learning a spell or two on my own wouldn't hurt.
I finally arrived at the library, which was open. The doors were huge, and I walked in looking around. The library was designed magnificently; it had three floors, and each of the floors was covered with shelves that had hundreds of books.
The books in the library, if counted, would be up to thousands, and I was looking for a simple spell book on wind magic.
There was a counter which I walked towards, behind the counter a woman sat there and was asleep, at first I didn't want to disturb her, but I might spend the next hours searching for spell books.
The woman looked like she was in her early thirties or late twenties, perhaps, but she was beautiful with glasses on. She wore a tight-fitting dress that could barely contain her jugs, and I definitely didn't stare at her for some minutes before I spoke.
"Hello," I spoke, and her eyes fluttered open, big brown eyes that matched the color of her hair.
Stay tuned to empire
"Hi there, what do you need" she spoke in a lovely voice.
"Sorry for waking you up, but I'm looking for spell books on wind magic" I replied.
"No problem, there are over there on the second floor," she pointed at a shelf on the second floor.
"Thank you," I spoke as I went to the second floor, and from where I stood, I could see her; she was still sleepy and returned right back to sleep.
Instead of looking for the spell book, I stood there staring at her; I didn't know I liked older women by her; I definitely wanted to fuck her.
I wasn't sure she was interested in me since she didn't look twice at me, or maybe she was sleepy, that was why.
I had to convince myself that was the reason, but if it wasn't and she had no interest, then I would employ my act of seduction, but the library was too big to use the lust scent, so I'd have to do it the normal way.
I finally took my eyes off her and focused on the shelves, and then I found out they were labeled. All the shelves were labeled, and I saw spell books on top of this one.
I looked through the shelf and found a spell book on wind magic, basic wind spells.
I opened the book, and the first spell was Wind Gust, also known as Gale Gust. The instructions to cast the spell were pretty simple.
The spell was used to create a gust of wind, it could be used to blow away objects or knock opponents off balance at a short radius.
The caster must first gather their Mana and then visualize the air around them, feeling the currents and the invisible power of the wind.
Hands should be outstretched, and fingers splayed to channel the wind.
An incantation could be added to increase the power of the wind, but it is not necessary since it is just a basic spell and after that, you just need to imagine the spell and then release it.
The spell book made it seem like it was something to learn easily, but I knew it wouldn't be, at least not for me.
