Lust System: Sword Genius in Women's World

Chapter 153 Weak

"it's finally here" Dragonborn spoke as raised his staff up and lightning began dancing around the staff.

Xavier had no idea what was happening, he saw an opportunity to attack but there was another way Dragonborn would leave himself open so he did the next best thing.

[Frost Reflection]

An ice replica of himself was made and immediately it dashed towards Dragonborn who still had his staff upward and his head facing the ceiling.

The moment the replica got just a little close to Dragonborn it was struck by lightning from the staff without Dragonborn looking at it.

'Fucking hell, I knew it wouldn't be easy but I'm not going to die here'

Xavier dashed away from him returning back to Sylve who was now on her feet and ready to fight, her wounds had healed and she had recovered some of her Mana back.

"Is that his staffs power, what do we do?" Sylve asked.

"We'll wait and see..."

Before Xavier could finish speaking Dragonborn took a deep breath as sparks danced across his skin. His staff glowed with a strange, deep blue light.

Then—

*BOOM!*

A loud crack filled the air as lightning exploded from his body, wrapping around him like a cloak. The ground shook under his feet as the air sizzled.

Xavier's eyes narrowed.

Sylve stepped beside him, with her staff ready to attack as Xavier took his stance, he intentionally went far away so it would be hard for Dragonborn to close the distance easily.

And if he attacked with long range spells, he could easily dodge them or Sylve could create an earth barrier.

But Dragonborn moved.

He vanished from sight.

*CRASH!*

A bolt of lightning slammed into Sylve before she could react. She cried out and flew back, hitting the ground hard.

"Sylve!" Xavier yelled.

Before he could help her, Dragonborn appeared in front of him, a blur of electricity.

*CRACK!*

THEN BOOM

A punch filled with lightning smashed into Xavier's side and he could hear cracking sounds as Dragonborn smashed his ribs, throwing him across the battlefield. His body bounced twice before sliding to a stop. His sword slipped from his grip as he crashed into the ground.

His vision blurred immediately, he felt like he was falling unconscious but the pain in his stomach was too much, he knew some of his ribs were definitely broken.

Dragonborn stood in the middle, lightning crawling all over his body, his eyes glowing.

"You're both too weak," he said, voice sharp like thunder.

"You really think you deserve to make it out of here, from the beginning I knew I was the only one going to survive among all of you, but I didn't know both of you would be my final opponents"

Sylve groaned, trying to push herself up, but another lightning strike hit her. She screamed and dropped again.

Even though she coated her entire body with Mana, the spell was still able to tear through her defense as blood began pouring from the wounds, her Mana was healing it but it was too painful for her to stand.

Xavier gritted his teeth and forced himself up. Blood ran from his mouth but his [Self Regeneration] was already working.

The best thing about this was he could draw Mana with his [Arcane Siphon] faster than Sylve.

Xavier couldn't breathe properly at first as he stood up but slowly he was getting better and Dragonborn stood there watching him.

"You are the most interesting of all, human. I thought the others were helping you pass, but you are actually powerful, or not...I really have no idea"

Xavier held his sword as his eyes focused on Dragonborn.

Dragonborn dashed forward with a smile on his face, he wasn't focused on his staff, he was planning on beating Xavier with the one thing he was good at, close combat.

He flashed across the field like lightning, hitting hard and fast.

But this time Xavier was expecting it, after seeing his speed earlier, he knew how fast Dragonborn was and knew he could respond, last time he was caught off guard.

Xavier gripped his sword tighter as Dragonborn dashed forward, a blur of electricity.

But this time—Xavier moved at the very last second.

He ducked under the first swing and slashed upwards, his blade dragging sparks across Dragonborn's chest as he slashed.

But It wasn't deep, and he knew it, the lightning coated his body.

Dragonborn grinned.

He grabbed Xavier's arm mid-swing and slammed his forehead into Xavier's nose.

CRACK!

Blood burst out as Xavier staggered back, but he didn't fall. His foot dug into the ground and he turned his momentum into a spin, slicing sideways.

Dragonborn blocked with his arm—lightning exploded on impact, throwing them both apart.

Before Xavier could charge again—The ground rose behind Dragonborn.

Sylve was back on her feet, barely.

"Earth Bind!" she screamed.

Thick vines and stone pillars shot out of the ground, the stone pillars didn't target Dragonborn, instead they formed in front of him and then vines wrapped around Dragonborn's legs.

He looked down, surprised for a second.

Then—BOOM!

A pulse of lightning exploded from him, ripping the vines apart. But that one second was enough.

Xavier flew in, sword raised.

"RAAH!"

He slashed down with everything he had—Dragonborn raised his staff to block, but the hit was strong, and for the first time, Dragonborn stumbled.

Xavier spun again, his sword a blur, cutting at Dragonborn's side, then chest, then arm—each strike blocked or dodged, but barely.

Dragonborn kicked him away and growled, the lightning around him getting brighter, wilder.

"You want a real fight?"

He slammed his staff into the ground.

CRACK!

Lightning exploded outward in all directions like a wave.

[Simple Barrier]

Xavier was thrown back again, tumbling across the dirt. Sylve raised a barrier just in time to avoid the worst of it.

But her shield cracked again—she dropped to one knee, panting.

Xavier got up slower this time. His body was shaking, blood soaking his side. But his grip was still firm.

He spat blood and wiped his mouth."You know your problem, you talk too much," he muttered.

Dragonborn's eyes narrowed, then he laughed.

"I'm merely trying to entertain myself. Fine, no more talking"

He lifted his hand.

The ceiling above them turned dark, even though it wasn't the sky it was good enough for Dragonborn, he was going to finish this once and for all.
