"Damnit..." Lucas gnashed his teeth in irritation.

He was finally confident that he was strong to kill anything outside yet this creature was on the same level as him.

"Sarah, Mike, keep attacking, Jimmy!" Lucas closed his mouth after saying his name. He didn't know why he did that.

It was like a habit was formed in those days inside the infectious dimension. Jimmy had become his partner on the front lines.

They were together in the killings and the synergy between them was pretty good.

Lucas placed that thought to the back of his head as there was no time left.

While another two projectiles made their way toward the creature. Lucas dashed forward with current rippling around his sword's blade.

He came right in front of the big creature and slashed horizontally.

The creature dodged but it was still electrocuted by being near the currents while the slash.

A groan came out of the creature's mouth. It flinched backward but still was ahead of the other one which looked feisty yet didn't attack.

Lucas was going to attack again yet a feminine voice came from behind.

"Lucas! The one behind the big one is pregnant!" Ella exclaimed with urgency.

"What?" Lucas didn't know why she knew it or why she told him that.

'It does make sense now...' Lucas looked at the other creature behind the big one, it was growling but now attacking and the bigger one was not coming toward them even when it was easy to do so.

"Are you sure, Aunt Ella?" Lucas asked hesitantly, it had become problematic for his morales as killing before was righteousness as he had to protect the ones in the groups but killing now was inhumane as an unborn child was inside it.

"Yes, my healing instinct is telling me. Poor thing is even injured!" Ella said with a sad shout making Lucas feel like shit.

He didn't know what to do in this situation, the big creature who was most likely the male was not even attacking but only defending.

"What the hell do I do now?" Lucas asked with confusion, his mind went into overdrive yet no feasible plan was involved which included sparing the big bear-like creatures that didn't seem to leave anytime soon.

"Let me try something..." Ella came near Lucas and the big creature growled at her.

A ball of healing materialized in her hand which made it growl more aggressively but Ella didn't mind. She threw the ball toward the big Bear's body and like before, it used its hand to tackle it.

Lucas was dumbfounded, this was the great Idea? To heal the bastard and let it havoc terror with extra energy.

The ball of light came in contact with the hand and the ball got absorbed by it.

The creature looked confused but a sense of euphoric pleasure invaded its exhausted body.

Now that Lucas observed clearly, the big creature's body was filled with red spots that seemed to be just the patches of color but on further observation, it was dried blood.

The same was on the female at the back that was still growling and seeing from left and right of the big creature.

The big creature had its eyes widened and it looked at Ella with a confused gaze. Its ears which were at first just erect were now flapping around like an elephant yet they were smaller.

Ella made another ball of healing, yet this time, it was bigger than before, and threw it. The creature looked at the ball with conflicted emotions but at last, it let the ball hit it right at the center of its gut which was exposed as it was standing on its hind legs.

The moment the ball of healing energy connected with the creature's gut, a wave of emotions surged through its body. It let out a deep, rumbling groan, different from the aggressive growls it had emitted before. The creature's massive frame trembled as the healing energy seeped into its wounds.

Lucas watched in astonishment as the red spots on the creature's body began to fade. The dried blood dissolved, revealing raw, torn flesh underneath. The healing energy worked its magic, closing the wounds and the creature's skin back together.

The transformation was remarkable. The creature's tense muscles relaxed, and its agitated movements subsided. The wide-eyed confusion in its gaze turned into something akin to calmness.

The female behind the big guy was tilting its head again and again after listening to the groans the big guy had made.

The big creature looked at Ella with a gaze that was different than before, it was just like a dog that was curious and just wanted to lick the person it was looking at rather bite.

Ella made another ball, the same size as before. The big creature this time was sure, it moved a little and grunted at the female who was looking at all three humans with fear for its unborn child.

Ella with a smile threw it and the female wanted to dodge, but the big guy growled at her. All the confusion was gone when the ball made of light actually hit it right at the shoulder.

Its head arched back and a groan came out of its mouth just like the big guy.

The creature this time had a gaze of gratitude, its eyes were normal unlike before. It still looked at Lucas and the others behind that hit it with wariness.

"Lucas, we should move to the side..." Ella said and started walking with no fear to the side while both the creatures looked at her with curious gazes.

"Uhh.... yes." Lucas was confused but he abided by her command, and so did her husband who was as confused as him.

They moved to the side and Ella gave the female creature some more healing balls until she was unable to do it due to empty mana storage.

Then the strangest thing happened the next second which made everyone fall into a dilemma of thoughts.
