Legendary Shelter Survival Guide

Chapter 258: New memories gained, start of a new journey! (1)

Lucas did not wake up for a long time. The headache was really not normal.

Because loads of memories were getting transferred to his brain at an unbelievable speed.

All the life of the 'Lucas Garde' from this realm was being transferred to Lucas's brain making it his own.

The more he saw those memories, the more they felt familiar, As if they were his, to begin with. Read chapters at My Virtual Library Empire

Being born, losing the parents in a mining incident. Living in the government-made orphanage until now.

It had been too peaceful for the 'Lucas Garde' of this world. His name is nowhere to be found, the definition of normal that made Lucas feel a bit icky.

Even though he had parents at one point here, the previous owner of these memories had no attachment to them, hell he did not even care about them at this point. They were nonexistent for him.

Lucas respected that, even though it was unfair for the dead parents, yet the child had to move on.

After hours of sleeping, Lucas finally woke up again in a new light.

He now was two kinds of Lucas Garde, but this realm's prior life had not been much so the more dormant side of him was still the same.

The practically emotional try-hard leader of a territory in the Plains of Amaeron.

"You finally woke up, brat."

Lucas heard the familiar voice again yet this time, it was more than familiar.

"Uncle Zen… where are we?" Lucas asked in between yawns, by looking at the room, it was evident that he was not in his own room.

And the room had a chilly feeling while Lucas related to the hospitals on Earth.

"You fell unconscious when I entered the room, the doctor said you were in a deep coma that even the healers couldn't fix…" Zen, the middle-man didn't have tears in his eyes but it sure looked like they would soon get out.

He was the coordinator of the batch of orphans Lucas lived with.

Lucas was attached to the guy without even knowing him, it felt like he had lived with the man for his whole life and not known him at the same time.

Lucas got up and stretched his arms, he saw the mark of the damned that was still there and the darkness in his heart that connected to the mark was there too.

Yet his leather armor was gone, his two swords that had not left his side once all this time were gone and Lucas couldn't help but groan in reaction.

Those swords were somewhat like his own kids. Losing them felt harsh but he knew in the back of his head that they were somewhere safe.

"Get some rest but we will have to leave, Your free medical will expire in a day now."

Lucas nodded in understanding. He and the other orphans had free medical insurance. He had 3 day's worth of medical left for this year out of the 5 he had, they were calculated in hours.

A stupid leg injury when he was not in this body.

'I have been unconscious for 2 days.' Lucas confirmed it and moved forward.

He got up without trouble, the head pain was gone and now he only had this weak feeling that was fully confirmed when he opened his status.

"W-What the heck? How are my stats so low!" Lucas had a pale expression, a feeling that he did not have for a long time.

"What are you on about, brat?"

"Why are my stats this low?!" Lucas asked with wide eyes while looking at Zen. The middle-aged man flinched in reaction.

Lucas's eyes were sharp and this was the first time he had ever looked at Zen like that.

Zen just bit his lips and gripped his hand into a punch to get out of the pressure, "H-Have you finally gone senile? What the heck is this stat you keep talking about?"

Lucas looked at the guy in surprise, somewhere in his mind, he had imagined the man to have lost his cool or have fallen on his butt with the amount of pressure he was exerting.

But Zen looked as okay as ever, given his fat belly and a bald big head, Lucas had expected a somewhat different reaction.

"What are you even looking at? Do you have a concussion??!"

"Obviously no, I am looking at my system," Lucas said as if it was the simplest thing to do.

Well, it was, but not in a place such as this.

"System? What the hell are you on about, brat? I am calling the doctor again. You still have your 1 day left for treatment."

"Wait Wait!" Lucas grabbed the chubby hand of the guy and stopped him.

"What?" Zen said in annoyance, there was also concern on his face that Lucas couldn't help but appreciate.

According to his memories, it was a site he had not seen for a while.

"I was just joking, just sit for now. We will have to leave for the big day in a while anyway."

Lucas said as he sat on the bed again, the feeling was simply euphoric.

"Ugh, you are so annoying today. First I had to see you naked and now you are being weird… But you are correct, it's your big day. We are late for the church anyway."

Luca nodded, it was his big day. In this town, when kids come of age which is 19, they get to go to the church to get their affinity checked and get an occupation according to it.

Lucas told Zen that he wanted to rest for a while and when he was alone, he opened his system again.

'So only I have the system here huh… But what do I do about these stats?'

They were low, to say the least, but still, all his skills and proficiencies were on point. Even the titles were there too.

Lucas finally opened the personal individual quest where all the details of the quest that he needed to know were present right now.
