League of Legends: Unrivaled

Chapter 6: Chapter 6 I'll help you replenish troops

Xia Xin sat down on the rightmost machine as he had hoped.

To his left sat Mao Pang, and to his right sat Shu Yuewu.

He felt someone touch his leg, and looking down, he saw Shu Yuewu's slender, snow-white legs beneath her denim skirt, flawless and as white as snow.

To see the screen, Shu Yuewu leaned in closer, her thigh brushing against his, but she didn't seem to mind, her eyes fixed on the screen as she selected the user.

And just now, when they were talking, Xia Xin thought Shu Yuewu was so bold. She held his head and leaned in. If they were any closer, he felt they could kiss.

He blushed a little at the thought.

But his classmates were all used to Shu Yuewu's outspokenness, her bold and lively personality, her stylish and eye-catching clothes, and her youthful, outgoing personality. She could chat with anyone.

Fatty Mao nudged Xia Xin's arm. "Xia Xin, it's your turn. What are you picking?"

"Ah, Vayne... um, the Policewoman."

"Ah, you dare pick the Policewoman? Didn't you see how badly Zhang Qian's Policewoman was just being suppressed? She was barely able to farm under the tower."

"It's okay. I think the Policewoman is cute. The way she walks is adorable."

As Xia Xin spoke, he had already locked onto the Policewoman.

He had originally wanted to pick Vayne, but that would have exposed his strength. It would have been bad if his classmates had been matching with him every day. He felt embarrassed to refuse. He could play occasionally, but not every day.

Relatively speaking, he felt his Policewoman wasn't very strong... Yeah, compared to King of Glory AD carries, she wasn't very strong.

Chen Yao said, "Lu Ming, the opponent actually dared to pick the Policewoman. Didn't they see how miserable the Policewoman was just now? Teach him a lesson."

"Got it. You idiot! Watch me. I guarantee I'll keep him from leaving the tower. If he does, I lose."

Lu Ming continued with the same pick as before, picking Graves.

Fat Mao figured he couldn't count on Xia Xin's damage. How much damage could a Bronze 5 player possibly deliver? He picked Annie as support to supplement his damage output.

The final lineup.

Team 1 on the blue side is top lane Demacia, mid lane Orianna, jungle Blademaster, support Annie, and AD Policewoman.

Team 2 on the red side is top lane Crocodile, mid lane Fizz, jungle Rengar, support Janna, and AD Graves.

The lineup alone shows that ours is a low-end lineup, with Demacia and Janna. The opponent's lineup is pure burst. Fizz is instantly devastating, as is Rengar. Graves, with a good Q, is also instantly devastating. Janna's protection is the best in the league, and Crocodile in the front line takes the damage.

Unfortunately, our team has four squishy heroes. Except for Demacia, the other four are incredibly fragile.

So, if the opponent gets up, we're done. We must minimize our losses. Each kill will at least give the opponent 500 gold.

What's different about Champions is that before a match begins, they select players based on both lineups, then analyze the strengths and weaknesses of both teams to identify the winning strategy.

So sometimes you'll see a jungler in a Champions game say, "We've won this game, I'm going to focus on ganking bottom," or a mid laner say, "Drag it to the late game, I'm invincible in the late game, no one can stop me," or an AD says, "Just help me control the enemy top laner in a teamfight. In five seconds, I'll give you a New World."

Because Champions play the game with their brains.

Xia Xin's lips curled. While the opponent's lineup had obvious advantages, its weaknesses were also obvious. This lineup had a huge flaw.

Let me show them what that flaw was during the game.

500 yuan, I've got it.

Xia Xin didn't realize that while he was staring at the load bar in deep thought, someone was also watching him.

Unfortunately, plans never keep up with changes.

Policewoman and Annie were standing at the bottom lane rock entrance, ready to help Juggernaut with the jungle, when they heard that the top lane had already taken first blood. "Haha, I told you he'd definitely go to the top lane bush."

Xia Xin heard the clamor from the other side.

A key characteristic of players in low-tier games is that they love to face-plant in the bush at the start of the game.

No matter how many times they've died trying to face-plant, they just love to do it.

You ask him why? Is there money to be made from face-planting in the bush?

He actually doesn't know.

I'll just try it anyway. No matter how many times I've died trying to face-plant in the bush, I just want to try it at the start of the game. What's the deal?

This is one of the unsolved mysteries of Silver.

Krokodil took first blood and went home to buy a longsword and a potion.

It wasn't bad, not too much of a blow. Demacia can still play. Demacia is a naturally strong hero, and he can hold his own against any hero in the lane.

Xia Xin prayed for no more mishaps.

After defeating the Malphite safely and returning to the lane, he was finally able to farm normally.

Caitlyn's reach was long, and she suppressed most of the ADs in the lane, including Graves.

Xia Xin hadn't intended to crush him; they just wanted to farm peacefully. If a Diamond V AD was so outmatched that he didn't dare farm, what would others think of him?

Xia Xin had proven naive after all.

Watching a minion dwindle to zero health, Xia Xin fired a bullet at the same moment Annie launched a small fireball.

Xia Xin paused for a moment, realizing he was standing too far away; his bullets weren't as fast as Annie's fireballs.

What happened? Did I press the wrong button?

Another minion dwindled to zero health, and Annie launched another fireball?

Looking at the game interface, he saw it clearly: Caitlyn was the AD, and Annie was the support.

Mao Pang said, "Xia Xin, it's okay. Don't worry about your last hits. I know you're terrible at last hits. Even Zhang Qian can only last two or three minions in a row."

Even Gold-level Zhang Qian was like that, let alone Bronze-level Xia Xin.

"Let's farm together. Remember to aim for the last hit on the minions. If we both attack together, someone will definitely get the hit, and we won't waste the minions."

Xia Xin was shocked. "Great... great idea."

Looking at Fatty Mao's gear, he saw no support items, but a Doran's Ring. It seemed he'd planned to play solo mid from the start.

Fatty Mao said, "Give me as many minions as possible. I'm going to deal explosive damage and kill that Graves in one blow. Don't worry, I'll carry this one."

"Okay... okay," Xia Xin replied, stunned. "I'll let you farm as much as possible."

Who says supports can't farm? Who says supports can't carry? Although Fatty Mao is a support, he has a heart for carrying. He loves farming for AD carries.

Incidentally, the policewoman's basic attack is only 76. Annie's level 1 Q has a base damage of 80, plus a 0.8 AP bonus of over 20, for a total of over 100 damage. Level 2 is even better. Furthermore, she's close enough to fly quickly, and after replenishing a minion, she returns half her mana and has a cooldown of only about 15 seconds, not much slower than the policewoman's basic attack.

The policewoman was right behind them. Seeing Annie about to miss a minion, she raised her sniper rifle and fired a finishing shot, picking up the minion.

Is Xia Xin angry?

No, Xia Xin was in a good mood. He consoled himself by saying, "After all, the money is still on our side, so whoever takes it doesn't matter."

Seeing the two of them, the other side burst into laughter.

"Look, the opposing AD isn't last-hitting, and the support is collecting it."

"Haha, that's hilarious! The support is the one last-hitting in the bottom lane."

"That AD is really good at supporting, haha. I'm so touched by China's AD."

"If Lu Ming gets crushed by these two ridiculous duos, he'll be finished."

"Don't worry, just watch me."

Seeing Graves approaching with Janna's shield, Xia Xin engaged him with a few attacks. Then, with Annie's Q, Graves retreated. After a few setbacks, he didn't dare to come forward, wisely focusing on last-hitting and farming.

Honestly, a lane-focused Caitlyn and a burst-hitting Annie are a pair that can easily outmaneuver Janna and Graves. If Caitlyn reduces the opponent's health to half, Annie can even flash and stun them with her W, and Caitlyn can kill them instantly.

However, Xia Xin didn't expect much from Fatty Mao; just make sure he didn't die.

Maybe not many people were paying attention to the bottom lane battle, but Shu Yuewu was watching.

Even though she was just a gold player, she knew it was the AD carry's turn to farm and the support's turn to disrupt the opponent.

When she heard Fatty Mao say, "Let's farm together, and I'll carry," she was practically dying of laughter.

I wonder what Fatty Mao would think if he knew the player sitting next to him was a champion AD carry.

Shu Yuewu couldn't help herself, "Fat Mao, let Xia Xin farm the minions. He's the AD carry."

"He can't farm that many. I'm pretty good at farming. If we farm together, we'll miss less."

"..."

Shu Yuewu was speechless.

Looking at the policewoman and then at Xia Xin, she saw no sign of concern on his face. He was calm and happy, completely immersed in the game. She realized Xia Xin was enjoying the game.

Even though the only thing he was doing was asking the policewoman to run around behind the minions.

It was incredible. Even a Silver player could AFK if a support tried to steal a minion, not to mention Diamond, Master, and Honor. Some ADs would have already been fuming. Shu Yuewu once nearly cried when her support accidentally attacked an AD's cannon cart.

In her mind, Honor players were even more arrogant and had terrible tempers. A support steals their minion? Everyone should just quit playing.

But... Xia Xin wasn't like that. He loved the game, even if it meant just letting the policewoman run around.

"Xia Xin, why are you letting the policewoman run around?"

Xia Xin pointed at the policewoman and said, "It's okay anyway. They're not going to attack me. Don't you think this is funny? Look at that little waist, wiggling around. It's so cute. Doesn't her figure resemble Shu from our class..."

Xia Xin froze mid-sentence. Turning around, he realized it was Shu Yuewu who was asking the question. He hadn't noticed, thinking she was one of the boys.

This wasn't the first time the boys had commented on Shu Yuewu's looks and figure. Shu Yuewu suddenly looked at him with a half-smile, as if asking, "Do I look like a hot policewoman?"

Xia Xin didn't dare look any further, quickly turning his head and staring straight ahead, concentrating on the game.

The bottom lane was incredibly peaceful, so peaceful that both sides went home to resupply and, upon returning, both reached level 6.

Choose Annie, but can she still be called Annie if she doesn't fight?

Enduring until level 6 is already the limit.

The two teams were still laning peacefully near the bottom lane bushes.

Mao Pang stared ahead, his eyes gleaming with ferocity, and said in a deep voice, "Xia Xin, get ready! I'm going to flash and kill them."

Xia Xin glanced around. His jungler, Blademaster, hadn't ganked once yet and was still farming in the top lane.

Then he looked at the opponent's health bar: both were completely full.

Finally, he took a look at Annie's equipment. Indeed, she had a useless club that added 60 spell power, but it was a club, not a hat.

Are you sure you want to instantly kill Janna, who's using his ultimate and healing?

Xia Xin rationally suggested, "Why don't we wait for the jungler? We don't know where he is."

"What are you talking about? Annie's one-hit kill is enough. Watch me. Just coordinate with me, one Q and two A attacks, and I'll make him disappear in a second."

And then... Annie flashed...
