Morkel: Huh?

Naruto: Haha!

Morkel was surprised to find himself grouped with the two main protagonists of the story. Meanwhile, Naruto was shocked to learn that he had been placed on the same team as his self-proclaimed rival, Uchiha Sasuke.

"Teacher, can you replace Sasuke?" Naruto asked with a bitter face.

Iruka shook his head expressionlessly. "No. The teams have been assigned in a way that benefits you all the most. Changing them randomly would disrupt the entire arrangement."

Naruto had no choice but to accept, though he turned to glare at Sasuke and muttered, "Arrogant guy."

Then he smiled, realizing there was a silver lining. "At least I got grouped with you, Morkel."

But Morkel wasn't paying attention. His mind was preoccupied with a puzzling thought. He knew the original storyline of this world well. Team 7 was supposed to consist of Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura. Now, with Naruto and Sasuke still in place, it seemed he had taken Sakura's spot.

"Morkel, why are you zoning out? What are you thinking about?" Naruto asked, shaking his friend.

"I'm just wondering what to eat for dinner," Morkel replied casually.

Naruto sighed in relief. "Morkel, it seems we've been grouped with an annoying guy. Why don't we just ignore him?"

Morkel rolled his eyes. "What are you talking about? We're teammates now. That means we have to work together. Don't isolate him. Instead, we should get along and build a strong bond."

Naruto stared at Morkel, surprised at his maturity. "Oh… Yeah, that makes sense!"

He suddenly had an idea. If they were supposed to build bonds, then he should start right away! With determination, Naruto turned to Sasuke and grinned.

At the same time, Sasuke was observing Morkel. Unlike the other students, he had started seeing Morkel in a different light. He had heard rumors that Morkel trained hard alongside Naruto and was rumored to be incredibly talented.

Sasuke thought to himself, A good partner.

Just as Sasuke was considering how to approach Morkel, Naruto suddenly appeared in front of him, lying across his desk, grinning widely.

Sasuke's chair lurched backward in shock.

"What are you doing?!" Sasuke snapped.

"We're teammates now! Let's get along!" Naruto said, extending his hand.

At that moment, fate played a cruel trick.

A student in front of Sasuke sneezed and accidentally lost balance. As he stumbled backward, he bumped into Naruto…

Naruto lost control and fell forward.

And just like that…

"Smack!"

Naruto and Sasuke's lips met.

The entire classroom fell silent. Half the girls screamed in outrage. They adored Sasuke and couldn't believe their idol had been "violated" by Naruto. The other half, who had started paying attention to Morkel's talent, turned to him instead.

Morkel, hearing the commotion, turned to see what was happening.

Classic scene unlocked!

If only he had a phone, he would have taken a picture and posted it for the world to see.

Iruka sighed in frustration. "Naruto, Sasuke, what are you two doing?!"

Both boys shot up and scrambled to fix their clothes.

"S-Sorry, Sensei! I fell by accident!" Naruto stammered.

Iruka shook his head and moved on. "Your team leader will arrive soon. Go to the assigned classroom and wait."

The students moved to their designated rooms, waiting for their instructors. In one of the classrooms, Morkel, Sasuke, and Naruto sat together.

Naruto, ever the prankster, placed an eraser above the door, eager to pull a trick on their new teacher.

Morkel sighed, not wanting to make unnecessary enemies. "Naruto, take that down. We don't want to start off on the wrong foot."

"Relax, it's just an eraser. The teacher won't be mad," Naruto assured him.

Morkel wasn't convinced. He stepped up and removed the eraser anyway.

Even after doing so, their instructor was still late.

To pass the time, Morkel decided to formally introduce himself to Sasuke. "Hello, I'm Morkel. It looks like we're going to be teammates. I look forward to working together."

Sasuke hesitated. Then, to Morkel's complete surprise, he blushed.

Morkel: ???

It was just a greeting. Why was Sasuke blushing?

Sasuke quickly regained composure, though his prideful expression remained. "I'm Sasuke. Nice to meet you."

Morkel: ???

Could it be… had he unknowingly taken over the heroine's role?! This was getting ridiculous!

As Morkel tried to process this strange development, Naruto joined in. "I'm Uzumaki Naruto! Let's do our best together!"

Despite their rocky start, Naruto had quickly warmed up to Sasuke. Though they had their differences, his easygoing personality made it difficult for him to hold a grudge for long.

Just as the three were chatting, the classroom door finally opened.

A tall man with white hair, a forehead protector covering one eye, and a mask covering the lower half of his face stepped in.

Morkel's eyes widened slightly. So, this is our team leader…

Naruto tilted his head in confusion. "What's with that weird getup?"

Sasuke, meanwhile, watched their new teacher closely, his expression unreadable.

Hatake Kakashi observed them silently. His visible eye scanned each of them carefully. He already knew their backgrounds.

Uzumaki Naruto, son of the Fourth Hokage, but an outcast due to his burden.

Uchiha Sasuke, last survivor of the Uchiha Clan, driven by revenge.

Then Kakashi's gaze fell on Morkel.

Kakashi's visible eye narrowed slightly.

Interesting…

Kakashi had read the reports. Morkel wasn't originally from the village but had somehow become Naruto's closest friend. Though he had no famous lineage, his talent was undeniable.

"Hmm…" Kakashi finally spoke, his tone unreadable. "Meet me on the rooftop in five minutes."

Then, without another word, he vanished.

Naruto huffed. "What's with that guy?!"

Morkel chuckled. "He's… different."

Sasuke remained silent, still analyzing their new leader.

With that, the three of them got up and headed toward the rooftop, ready to meet their mysterious new sensei.
