Chapter 10: Chapter 10: You Develop Ninjutsu?!

Yamato had worked tirelessly for three days before he finally managed to produce a small flower with his Wood Style training.

Yet today, Morkel had created a towering tree in just a few minutes!

This wasn't just talent—it was something beyond comprehension. It was as if he were the reincarnation of the God of Shinobi himself!

Seeing Yamato's stunned expression, Morkel thought his teacher was displeased with his progress. Feeling uncertain, he cautiously asked, "Teacher, did I do something wrong?"

Yamato was speechless. Wrong? If this was considered wrong, then what was right?

It had been more than ten years since Orochimaru had implanted Senju Hashirama's cells into Yamato's body, allowing him to use Wood Style. After so many years of practice, even with his level of skill, he still struggled to create such a massive tree without the aid of hand seals.

Morkel's natural talent and understanding of Wood Style were terrifying. If this continued, he might surpass even the First Hokage himself.

Yamato took a deep breath, suppressing his internal turmoil, and patted Morkel's shoulder with a meaningful nod. After hesitating for a moment, he finally said, "Morkel… just keep going."

Morkel misinterpreted Yamato's hesitation and assumed he was disappointed. Clenching his fists, he declared, "I'll work even harder!"

Yamato felt a deep sense of despair. Work harder? At this rate, even Hashirama wouldn't be your match!

"That's enough for today. You should go back and rest," Yamato said after a moment of contemplation.

Before Morkel left, Yamato added, "Think more about Wood Style when you have time. After all, it's a very special Kekkei Genkai."

Morkel nodded and returned to Naruto's house.

Midnight Thoughts

When he arrived, Naruto had already completed his training and was lying on the floor, exhausted.

"What were you doing out so late?" Naruto asked, rubbing his eyes.

"Oh, just taking a stroll," Morkel replied casually.

Naruto stared at him. "A stroll? At this hour?"

Morkel shrugged, unwilling to explain further. Seeing that Morkel wasn't going to say anything else, Naruto didn't press the issue and went to sleep.

Meanwhile, Morkel lay on his bed, staring at the ceiling, his mind filled with thoughts about Wood Style and its potential applications.

A Uchiha's Struggle

Elsewhere, in the Uchiha compound, Sasuke was furiously practicing his Shuriken Clone Technique.

He needed to get stronger—fast.

He couldn't allow himself to be surpassed by anyone, especially not by someone like Morkel. He had a mission: to avenge his clan.

No matter how hard he trained, he couldn't seem to grasp the technique fully. His frustration only deepened.

"The Third Hokage must be secretly giving Morkel special treatment," Sasuke muttered to himself. "There's no other way he could learn advanced techniques so quickly."

The Hokage's Concern

The next morning, Yamato knelt before the Third Hokage in the Hokage's office, recounting the shocking events of the previous night.

"Hokage-sama, Morkel may very well become a figure on par with the God of Shinobi himself!" Yamato said with conviction.

The Third Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen, maintained a calm expression, but internally, he was in turmoil.

The God of Shinobi? That title belonged only to the First Hokage, Senju Hashirama. Yet, Yamato—a normally reserved and serious ninja—had just used it to describe Morkel.

Could Morkel truly be the reincarnation of Hashirama?

"I understand. You may go," the Third Hokage finally said, dismissing Yamato.

Yamato hesitated before leaving. "Hokage-sama, please ensure that Morkel is protected. His talent is beyond anything I've ever seen."

The Third Hokage nodded but said nothing more.

Once Yamato left, Sarutobi walked over to the large window of his office, gazing at the Ninja Academy in the distance.

His mind was filled with countless thoughts. Just what kind of power does this boy hold?

Morkel's Progress

Morkel's previous incarnation had been a hardworking individual. While he lacked talent in ninjutsu, he had thoroughly memorized the book knowledge taught at the academy.

Now, with his newfound abilities, he was progressing rapidly.

That evening, Morkel once again met with Yamato, who was already waiting outside Naruto's house. There was a mix of curiosity and expectation in his eyes.

"Teacher," Morkel greeted enthusiastically.

Yamato, still wearing his mask, nodded. "I asked you to think about Wood Style last night. Did you learn anything new?"

Morkel's eyes lit up. "I've realized Wood Style has a lot of practical uses, like planting trees, building houses, and even sealing techniques."

Yamato nodded approvingly. "Good."

Morkel grinned. "Especially for building houses! It's so convenient! I built a new house on my old foundation earlier today, and I'll be moving in tomorrow."

Yamato: "Huh?"

⊙▽⊙

"Wait… You built a house?" Yamato's voice trembled slightly.

"Yeah," Morkel replied casually. "You told me to experiment with Wood Style, so I tried creating structures."

Yamato was struggling to process this information. "You mean… You're already using Wood Style freely?"

Morkel shook his head. "Not exactly."

Yamato let out a sigh of relief. Okay, at least he's not fully proficient yet.

But then Morkel continued, "I also developed over a hundred Wood Style techniques last night. I tried them out in the forest earlier."

Yamato: "It's fine, you just developed over a hundred—

Wait!!! You developed over a hundred Wood Style techniques?!"

Yamato felt dizzy. This had to be an illusion.

"Say that again. I didn't hear you clearly," Yamato said, his voice shaking slightly.

Morkel gave him a confused look. "I said I developed over a hundred Wood Style techniques last night. You told me to experiment, right?"

Yamato felt a strong urge to slap himself. I told you to experience Wood Style, not develop an entire arsenal of new techniques!

At this point, he had no choice but to accept reality.

"Morkel… why don't you show me?" Yamato suggested, swallowing his disbelief.

Morkel nodded and took a deep breath, closing his eyes as he molded his chakra. In an instant, the ground trembled, and a massive wooden fortress erupted from the earth behind him, standing several stories high.

Yamato's jaw dropped.

His mind went blank.

The contrast was staggering. He had spent years training to barely summon a handful of wooden tendrils, while Morkel had casually created an entire fortress overnight.

A profound sense of shame washed over him. I… I give up.

Morkel turned to Yamato, looking expectantly. "What do you think, Teacher?"

Yamato was silent for a long moment before he finally sighed and muttered under his breath, "I need a vacation…"
