Konoha: Gu master

Chapter 44: Sasuke’s Grades Are Not Ideal

After dinner, Shizune took it upon herself to wash the dishes. With Shinho's help, she hadn't been replaced. Just like before, she continued doing her usual tasks.

"Kid, pour me a glass of water," Tsunade leaned back on the sofa, occasionally taking a deep breath. Under the light, her soft lips appeared rosy. She was feeling the lingering spiciness from the meal.

Shinho opened the refrigerator and took out a glass of lemon water.

"Ah, that's nice," Tsunade took a sip, showing a contented expression.

"What am I going to learn next?" Shinho looked at her and asked.

"What do you want to learn?" Tsunade replied. She had already made a plan but, considering that Shinho was quite mature and not like an ordinary child, she decided to respect his wishes.

"Super Strength," Shinho thought for a moment and said. Although medical ninjutsu is very useful, he didn't need it for the time being. Learning Super Strength would not only make use of his White Boar Gu and Black Boar Gu but also increase his combat ability.

"Super Strength, huh?" Tsunade raised an eyebrow. Shinho had mentioned it before, and he was indeed suitable to learn it.

"Have you mastered that Super Strength Technique Manual?" Tsunade casually put down the glass and asked.

"I've memorized it completely," Shinho nodded. He had the Book Gu; he just needed to feed it the book. But to prevent Tsunade from asking for it back, he had specially copied a version. Though it seemed he had done unnecessary work.

"I'll teach you tomorrow," Tsunade thought for a moment. "Go to bed early tonight and get some rest."

"Alright," Shinho didn't say anything more. He took a bath, drank a glass of milk that Tsunade gave him, and went back to his room.

A new day.

In the bamboo forest not far from the Senju residence.

"Follow my lead," Tsunade stood in front of Shinho. She bent down until her hands touched the ground. Her clothes stretched tight, especially around her hips, revealing a full curve.

Shinho took it all in but didn't let himself get distracted. He bent down as well. They were doing stretching exercises. According to Tsunade, she didn't need to, but Shinho did—because he was still young.

Half an hour later, the warm-up was complete.

"Super Strength, simply put, involves gathering a large amount of chakra in a specific part of the body and then releasing it explosively to unleash tremendous power," Tsunade said, rubbing her wrists. "I'll teach you the relatively simple hand technique first."

Shinho recalled the contents of the Super Strength Technique Manual and nodded slightly.

"I'll demonstrate once," Tsunade knew of Shinho's talent, so she didn't plan to teach him step by step. She extended her hand and clenched her fist. Chakra surged and gathered. Tsunade deliberately slowed down so Shinho could clearly perceive the chakra flow.

After waiting for two seconds, she slammed her fist into the ground. Centered around her fist, waves of air rippled outward. With a loud boom, the ground cracked and sank, revealing a crater.

"Your turn," Tsunade leaped back to avoid the dust.

Shinho mimicked her actions. He punched out, and the ground immediately shattered into pieces.

"As expected of someone with natural strength," Tsunade nodded slightly. But that didn't mean Shinho had already mastered Super Strength. Compared to her, he wasted too much energy. Wasting energy in practice didn't matter, but in battle, it could cost you your life.

"Keep practicing," Tsunade stood to the side, observing carefully and pointing out any issues promptly.

"Did you hear something?" Mikoto Uchiha's expression tensed as she asked. She was carrying apples in her left hand and holding Sasuke Uchiha's hand with her right.

"There was definitely a sound," before Sasuke could answer, Mikoto heard it again. She couldn't help but feel puzzled. The sound seemed to be coming from their destination—the Senju residence. But who would dare cause trouble in front of Lady Tsunade?

"Let's go have a look," Mikoto entered the bamboo forest.

Sasuke looked around curiously. The rumbling sounds grew closer. After exiting the bamboo forest, both of them stood frozen, their faces filled with disbelief.

"This is... Lady Tsunade's Super Strength?" Mikoto was shocked. Learning Super Strength at just six years old? What kind of talent is that? She subconsciously glanced at Sasuke. Because he had previously said that he and Shinho were evenly matched. She smelled a lie.

Sasuke had no idea what Mikoto was thinking. Right now, he had only one expression—utter astonishment. Each of those deep pits in the ground could bury him entirely, with room to spare. After a moment of silence, he suddenly laughed it off. Who am I kidding?

"That's enough for today," Tsunade noticed Mikoto and Sasuke. More importantly, Shinho had reached his limit. He was just a child; there was no need to push him beyond his limits and risk injury.

Shinho exhaled deeply. He felt completely drained. Super Strength was indeed powerful, but it consumed a lot of chakra. He had used it seven times in a row and was now utterly exhausted.

"Being able to last this long on your first try is already quite impressive," Tsunade reached out and wiped the sweat from his forehead.

That sounded a bit odd. But Shinho didn't have the energy to correct her.

"Lady Tsunade," Mikoto walked up, expressing her admiration, "Congratulations on having such an excellent student."

In this world, the teacher-student relationship is highly valued. Every ninja hopes to find an outstanding student.

"He still needs to work hard," Tsunade's lips curved slightly. Although she was pleased, she didn't want Shinho to become complacent, so she didn't show her pride outwardly.

Mikoto didn't expose her. She pulled Sasuke forward. He had been silent the whole time, probably shocked by Shinho's performance.

"Lady Tsunade," Mikoto introduced with a smile, "This is my second son, Sasuke Uchiha."

"He looks just like you," Tsunade glanced at him. "Very handsome."

"Thank you for your compliment," Mikoto patted his head. "Sasuke, greet Lady Tsunade."

"Lady Tsunade," Sasuke greeted immediately.

"Let's talk inside," Tsunade crouched down and looked at Shinho. "Can you still walk?"

Her voice lost some of its formality and was filled with concern.

"I can," Shinho nodded.

The four of them returned to the living room. Mikoto and Tsunade chatted away. Sasuke remained silent from beginning to end. Shinho sat on the sofa to rest.

"Lady Tsunade," Mikoto felt the timing was right and asked, "May I speak with Shinho alone?"

Sasuke's eyes lit up, and he looked up. They were finally getting to the main topic; he had been waiting impatiently. Mainly because he wasn't interested in their earlier conversation.

Talk with me? Again?

Shinho roughly guessed what Mikoto wanted to discuss. Indeed, there's nothing like a mother's love. She had come to see him multiple times because her son's grades weren't ideal.
