Chapter 25: Chapter [25]
Chapter 25: HyūGa Hinata's Mind
_____
- What is Naruto doing in that world?
- Is he reasoning with Nina Tails?
- No! that's not reasoning— it's manipulation, or more accurately, brainwashing.
- Naruto is actually brainwashing Nine Tails.
- And what's worse (or better, depending on perspective), everything he's saying makes Sense.
Nine Tails knows full well that ninjas covet the power of the tailed beasts. If it truly broke the seal and reappeared in the ninja world, other villages would undoubtedly hunt it down, just as Naruto predicted.
They wouldn't stop until it was resealed.
Furthermore, the five great nations, driven by their desire for dominance, would undoubtedly launch ninja wars over Nine Tails' reappearance.
Although Nine Tails warned Naruto about human greed for the tailed beasts' power, Naruto managed to see through Nine Tails' own intentions to break free. Instead, he turned the situation around, effectively brainwashing Nine Tails to serve his own purposes.
It's safe to say that the Naruto of that world possesses an intelligence and cunning far beyond the average person.
- Dumbfounded!
- For a moment, the entire ninja world was left in awe
- Is this boy really just nine year old child?
With such methods, it's hard to imagine Hiruzen ever taking advantage of him.
On the high platform, even Orochimaru and Hiruzen couldn't help but be impressed.
Both of them silently admitted that this kid's techniques were exceptional—something even they couldn't match.
And now, Naruto seemed to be experimenting with channeling Chakra into his limbs.
What is he trying to do?
Does he plan to unleash power similar to Tsunade's terrifying strength?
Orochimaru: "That Naruto over there isn't just talented in practice—he's even more talented in learning and adapting. Is he learning brainwashing techniques from Teacher Sarutobi?"
Yakushi Kabuto: "As expected of Lord Orochimaru, it seems he's planning to brainwash Nine Tails into cooperating and providing him with Chakra."
Tsunade: "Hmph! What an arrogant little brat. Don't overthink it. I bet his so-called Chakra control is just for climbing rocks and walking on water."
[She continued with a smirk:]
"Does he really think a human can develop my monstrous strength? That kind of power requires extreme Chakra control and unparalleled talent."
Uzumaki Kushina: "Don't call it brainwashing. As ninjas, we all know Naruto isn't wrong in what he's saying."
Namikaze Minato: "Exactly. Besides, Nine Tails isn't something that can be easily brainwashed. It's intelligent and capable of forming its own judgments."
Nine Tails: "Damn Fourth Hokage, for once, you've said something I agree with. That little brat thinks he can outwit me? It's beyond his reach."
Uzumaki Kushina: "Also, none of you seem to understand what happens to a Jinchūriki when they lose their tailed beast."
Senju Tobirama: "That's true. If Nine Tails succeeds in breaking the seal, Naruto will die as a result of losing the tailed beast."
Tobirama continued: "Fortunately, Naruto unknowingly devised a plan to stop Nine Tails from breaking the seal. That's nothing short of luck."
Might Guy: "Luck is a part of strength!"
The revelation left Naruto stunned.
He had never realized that the tailed beast inside him was a double-edged sword.
Breaking the seal could mean not just freeing Nine Tails, but also his own death.
While granting immense strength, the tailed beast also came with terrifying risks.
Thinking about this, Naruto, who was still unaware of his future, felt his expression darken.
So far, his relationship with the big fox inside him was far from harmonious.
Of course, while everyone was busy discussing this, there was one person in the crowd whose heart was especially restless.
Hinata fidgeted with her small hands, feeling incredibly anxious.
Based on what they had seen so far, even if Naruto in that world was different from the Naruto in her world, a significant portion of the events in the two worlds remained largely unchanged.
She clearly remembered when she had first seen the video of Naruto here—how Naruto had stepped in to help her in a flash.
But now, due to the changes in the Naruto of that other world, Hinata wasn't sure if he would still have the same fateful encounter with her counterpart in that world.
She recalled it vividly—it was around this time.
["You can't even defeat Hanabi, who is five years younger than you. You've really disappointed me."]
The familiar voice made Hinata's heart suddenly tremble.
Almost immediately, voices began to murmur around her.
Yamanaka Ino: "Hey! That girl kneeling on the floor—isn't that Hinata as a child?"
Haruno Sakura: "Yes, I remember this! Hinata was wearing this black bodysuit when Naruto helped her in the video we watched before."
[Hyūga Hiashi's disappointed tone made Hinata's aggrieved tears well up in her eyes.]
[She hadn't wanted to hurt her younger sister standing in front of her.]
[But she also understood the rigid, unyielding rules of the Hyūga clan.]
[Caught in this impossible situation, Hinata, overwhelmed with grief, ran out of the house in tears for the first time.]
[Her head lowered, she ran as fast as she could, not paying any attention to the road ahead as the weight of her emotions consumed her.]
[At the corner, three children chatting and laughing suddenly stepped into her path.]
Boom!
[The two sides collided hard.]
[Realizing she had caused trouble, Hinata immediately began bowing and apologizing, barely registering the pain from the collision.]
["I'm sorry! I didn't mean to."]
["Oh? You didn't mean to? You knocked my ice cream to the ground. How are you going to pay for it?"]
[Unfortunately, the three children had no intention of forgiving her.]
[Instead, they dragged her into the woods, threatening to make her kneel and beg for mercy.]
Yamanaka Ino: "Just as I thought—Hinata didn't escape the fate of being bullied."
Haruno Sakura: "I didn't expect her to be bullied over such a trivial thing. It was an accident, and she apologized sincerely! This is just cruel."
Inuzuka Kiba: "This is too much! Way too much!"
Aburame Shino: "Calm down. The real question now is whether Naruto will step in to help Hinata."
Shino's statement made Hinata's heart pound even harder.
Even though she knew the Hinata in that other world had nothing to do with her, she still didn't want the Hinata in that world to miss this fateful encounter with Naruto.
