Konoha: Comparison of Naruto

Chapter 26: Chapter [26]

Chapter 26: The Eldest daughter of hyuga

________

[Ding!]

[Question: Will Naruto in the black frame help the bullied Hyūga Hinata?]

[A: Yes]

[B: No]

The system's prize-winning quiz appeared, and while the question seemed simple, it left everyone conflicted.

The options were straightforward, but answering wasn't easy.

The differences between Naruto in the black frame and the one in the white frame were vast.

As more events were revealed, it became clear that the Naruto in the black frame harbored disdain for everything connected to Konoha Village.

The ideals of the Will of Fire and the desire for recognition from others had become meaningless in his eyes, trivialities he could no longer respect.

With his current attitude, it seemed impossible for this Naruto to rush forward and boldly declare himself as Uzumaki Naruto, dreaming of becoming Hokage, while stepping in to protect Hinata.

This made it truly difficult for everyone to decide if he would help Hinata in this scenario.

Onoki: "I can't shake the feeling that this Naruto has developed an overwhelming dislike for the people of Konoha Village."

Terumi Mei: "This is such a challenging question to answer."

Fourth Raikage: "With his attitude toward Konoha right now, we should just be relieved if he doesn't cause any major issues in the future. Helping someone else seems unlikely."

Uzumaki Kushina: "You're all entitled to your opinions, but I'll make my choice. Even though this Naruto isn't my child, I choose to believe in him. My answer is A—he will help the bullied Hyūga Hinata."

Among the crowd, Hinata's anxiety grew.

The moment the quiz was announced, she felt a crushing tightness in her chest that made it hard to breathe.

Despite knowing that the Hinata in the black frame wasn't her, she couldn't stop worrying about whether the other Hinata would have the same fateful encounter with Naruto.

Hinata remembered Naruto's smile vividly, and even though the Naruto in the black frame had changed dramatically, she couldn't help but believe in him.

Hyūga Hinata: "I believe in Naruto-kun too. He will help me over there. I choose A."

[In sunny Konoha Village.]

[Everything appeared calm and serene, as though nothing could disturb the peace.]

[Since Naruto had proposed his ideas to Nine Tails, the fox had grown oddly silent, avoiding conversations with him entirely.]

[Naruto, however, was unbothered by this. He knew perfectly well that as long as he refrained from recklessly tearing off the seal, he was safe.]

[Having mastered the Shadow Clone technique, Naruto saw no point in attending the academy as usual. Instead, he used a clone to attend class on his behalf, letting it absorb the lessons and relay the information back to him later.]

[This freed up most of his time for training in the back mountains of Konoha Village.]

[Even on a holiday, Naruto had gone to the mountains as usual to work on his techniques.]

[However, as he passed by a dense forest, he heard shouting and cursing from within.]

[The voices were immature, clearly belonging to children, but their words were shockingly unpleasant.]

["What a monster!"]

[Hearing this, Naruto instinctively froze.]

[For a brief moment, he thought someone was yelling at him.]

["Those eyes look just like Hyūga Neji's. Disgusting to look at."]

["Hmph! That arrogant Neji, his eyes are just as monstrous."]

["White eyes are really disgusting. Apologize to us right now! Who told you to knock over our ice cream?"]

["Hmph! Monsters deserve to be punished."]

- Hyūga Neji?

- Who is that?

[Naruto scratched his head, trying to recall, but nothing came to mind.]

[He didn't know who this Neji was and had no impression of him at all.]

[However, hearing the kids shouting and cursing, Naruto couldn't help but remember the times he walked through the streets of Konoha, being called a monster himself.]

[Could it be that in Konoha Village, both adults and children love to call others monsters?]

[They're just like normal people.]

[Initially, Naruto didn't want to bother with Neji since he didn't know him, but hearing someone else being called a monster piqued his curiosity.]

[He decided to check out who exactly was being called a monster.]

["Sorry, sorry, I didn't mean to."]

[At this moment, Hinata knelt before the three boys, apologizing tearfully.]

[Naruto poked his head out and took a look. "That hairstyle and voice seem kind of familiar."]

[After thinking for a few seconds, he dismissed the thought.]

[Looking at the three arrogant boys bullying a girl, Naruto sighed helplessly. "This is the future of Konoha Village? What kind of example is this? Three boys ganging up on a girl?"]

[He shook his head and thought to himself that the Third Hokage's so-called Will of Fire seemed completely useless.]

[With his thoughts settled, a glint of mischief flashed in Naruto's eyes, and his expression turned into that of a scheming profiteer.]

["These kids love calling others monsters—it must be something they picked up from their parents."]

["In that case, I don't mind giving them a lesson on the Will of Fire on the old man's behalf."]

["I'll consider it a bit of payback for all the times their parents cursed me."]

---

Naruto in the other world did indeed choose to help the bullied Hyūga Hinata.

But his reasoning was strange.

Was he helping Hiruzen preach the Will of Fire?

Not exactly. It was clearly revenge for his own personal grievances.

For a moment, the ninjas of Konoha Village were stunned.

They all thought the same thing: the Naruto of their world must never be influenced by the black frame Naruto.

If a Jinchūriki truly started taking revenge on the ninja villages, the consequences would be unimaginable—and terrifying.

---

["Hey!"]

["I said, you three—is it really okay to bully a girl like this?"]

[As soon as Naruto spoke, the leader of the group turned toward him, visibly annoyed.]

[The boy twisted his face into an impatient scowl and snapped, "Huh? Who do you think you are?"]

["Who gave you the courage to stick your nose into our business?"]

[With two friends backing him up, the boy clearly didn't take Naruto seriously.]

["You better back off, or we'll beat you up!"]

Boom!

[Unfortunately for him, the next second, Naruto's foot connected with his stomach, sending the boy flying.]

[Landing hard on the ground, the boy clutched his stomach, writhing in pain and crying out pitifully.]

["Didn't the Third Hokage ever teach you the Will of Fire?"]

[Naruto looked down at him, his expression calm but firm.]

[Then he turned his gaze toward the other two boys, who were still frozen in shock.]

["I think you don't seem to understand. Forget it, let me help Grandpa Hokage teach you a lesson again."]

[Without waiting for the other two to react, Naruto's fist had already swung up.]

[In no time, the three boys knelt before Naruto with their noses and faces swollen.]

["Go home and copy the Will of Fire a hundred times. If you miss even once, I'll beat you again."]

[Naruto clapped his hands.]

[This time, he had used very little strength to beat the three boys in front of him until their noses were bruised and their faces swollen.]

[Seeing this, he shook his head helplessly. "I really don't know what the three of them were doing in school; they're way too weak."]

[However, Hinata, standing to the side, looked at Naruto in front of her with bright eyes.]

[Staring at his back, she seemed to see an unrivaled hero appearing before her.]

[After educating the three bullies, Naruto set his sights on Hinata. This time, he finally got a good look at her face.]

["Eh!?"]

["Aren't you…"]

["We're in the same class. I remember your name—it's Hinata, Hyūga Hinata."]

[At the start, Naruto had always been interested in the children of the prominent families.]

[For these family children, he had a strong impression.]

["Y-yes!"]

[Feeling Naruto's gaze on her, Hinata's small face suddenly became hot.]

[She couldn't believe that she, someone timid and invisible, would be remembered by such an exceptional Naruto.]

[In an instant, Hinata felt like a deer frantically running around in her heart.]

[She was so flustered that she even forgot to thank Naruto.]

["Miss Hinata…"]

["Miss Hinata…"]

[However, at this time, an untimely voice sounded.]

[Not far away, Hyūga Tokuma rushed over nervously.]

[Seeing Hinata squatting on the ground and Naruto standing nearby, Tokuma's expression changed drastically.]

[He couldn't help but panic, thinking: Not good! Could it be that the Nine Tails boy is bullying Miss Hinata?]

[The thought alone made Tokuma's voice tremble slightly.]

[If the Third Hokage found out that a Hyūga clan member had been in contact with Jinchūriki alone and something went wrong, it would be impossible to explain.]

["Miss Hinata, let's hurry home."]

["But…"]

[Hinata was forcibly pulled up by Tokuma, guilt filling her heart before she could even thank Naruto.]

[Hinata was very aware of Naruto's situation. She had seen with her own eyes how people treated him on the street.]

[Even Tokuma, who was supposed to bring her home, seemed to deliberately avoid Naruto entirely.]

[However, when Hinata looked back at Naruto again, she found that he was still looking at her with a warm smile.]

[This time, Hinata hated her incompetence even more. She didn't even have the courage to say thank you to the person who had helped her.]

[Compared to Naruto, who still smiled so generously at her despite being disliked by others, she felt the gap between them as human beings was immense.]

[As Hinata was being pulled away, Naruto secretly muttered to himself, "So she's the eldest daughter of the Hyūga clan."]

["An eldest daughter—her status must be extraordinary in the family."]

[After a brief pause, he gasped, "No wonder she's so young but already so… developed."]

["As expected of a family's eldest daughter—they must feed her really well."]
