jujutsu Kaisen: The Heavenly Restriction

Chapter 20: Chapter 20 Future Strongest

As Gojo Shunichi led Gojo Satoru and Gojo Kensei into the hall, the entire room fell silent.

This gathering was of immense importance, evidenced by the Gojo clan's decision to bring both of their Six Eyes users. This move underscored how seriously they regarded the meeting.

For Gojo Kensei, being the center of attention was nothing out of the ordinary. However, the young Gojo Satoru had yet to develop into the confident and dominant figure of the future. At this age, he still felt somewhat uneasy in such an environment.

Noticing this, Gojo Kensei subtly stepped forward, shielding Satoru from some of the prying gazes. Meanwhile, his pseudo-Six Eyes scanned the room, searching for any familiar faces.

Zenin Toji… Oh, there he is.

Gojo Kensei immediately spotted the infamous Heavenly Restriction Tyrant.

It was clear that Toji's relationship with the rest of the Zenin family was strained. Even with his own brother, Zenin Jinichi, there seemed to be little interaction.

Zenin Ogi… Huh, so the Zenin elder leading their group this time is the future father of Zenin Maki and Zenin Mai. This guy is no saint either. Compared to us, Maki and Mai's lives turned out far worse.

Kensei's gaze darkened slightly as he observed the middle-aged man conversing warmly with the Gojo clan's Twin Curse Doctrine faction.

At times, it really felt like there were no normal people in the Zenin family—except maybe Fushiguro Megumi.

Wait… that little girl looks familiar. Hm? Isn't that a young Ieiri Shoko? Damn, I didn't expect Shoko to ever wear her hair in a bun. This is a huge contrast to how she looks in the future.

If I could take a picture of her now and show it to her future self, would she die of embarrassment?

Gojo Kensei had always found amusement in trying to provoke reactions from the normally unfazed Shoko. He couldn't help but wonder what kind of expression she'd make if she saw her younger self.

Originally, he had assumed that Shoko and Satoru wouldn't meet until their time at Jujutsu High. But surprisingly, she was already here at this gathering.

It seemed that an elder from the Ieiri family had come to treat the Gojo clan's leader with Reverse Cursed Technique, leaving little Shoko alone in the hall.

If an opportunity arose, Kensei figured he'd introduce Satoru to her early. Having a good relationship with Shoko would be beneficial—after all, she was the strongest healer in the Jujutsu Kaisen world. In case of emergencies, having access to her skills could be a lifesaver.

Wait… who's that young man sitting next to Shoko? He looks kind of familiar… but I can't quite remember who he is.

That's weird. If he were an important figure in the main storyline, I should recognize him instantly.

Gojo Kensei's eyes narrowed as he focused on the young man, searching his memory for any recollection of him.

If he was present at this high-profile gathering, he had to be connected to one of the jujutsu clans.

Was he from the Kamo clan? No, Kensei only really remembered their Blood Manipulation users.

Not Kamo… Could he be someone from Kyoto Jujutsu High?

That didn't seem right either.

Then, as he mentally cycled through images of notable sorcerers, he suddenly stopped at one of the Four Special-Grade Sorcerers—Okkotsu Yuta.

Yes, the young man bore a striking resemblance to the future Pure Love War God, Okkotsu Yuta. In fact, he looked exactly like an older version of Yuta.

Given that Yuta had yet to be born in this timeline, there was only one possibility.

This man was Yuta's father.

Gojo Kensei raised an eyebrow, his interest now fully locked onto Okkotsu Yuta's conveniently placed father.

This gathering is full of monsters…

The future's strongest Six Eyes user, Gojo Satoru. The physically strongest sorcerer killer, the Heavenly Restriction Tyrant, Zenin Toji. The most gifted healer, Ieiri Shoko. And now, the father of the most cursed-energy-endowed special-grade sorcerer, Okkotsu Yuta.

One day, I should be able to stand on equal footing with them, right? This system of mine isn't just for show.

As Gojo Kensei sank into deep thought, Gojo Satoru followed his brother's gaze, taking note of Zenin Toji, Ieiri Shoko, and Okkotsu Yuta's father.

Satoru knew his brother was anything but ordinary. If Kensei was paying close attention to these individuals, then he should do the same.

One man, two women… That tall guy was the one watching us earlier in the garden. The other man… I've never seen him before, but his cursed energy is incredibly strong.

And that girl… Hm, she's kinda cute. Is she Kensei's type?

As the undeniable main characters of the gathering, Satoru and Kensei's every move attracted attention.

If Kensei's quiet observations had been largely ignored, Satoru's actions were closely watched—especially by the Gojo clan's Twin Curse Doctrine faction.

Originally, this faction had been strongly opposed to Kensei attending the gathering at all.

To them, Satoru was the true heir to the Six Eyes—the legitimate successor of the Celestial Eye. Kensei, in their eyes, was nothing more than a failed imitation with no sorcerer potential.

However, recent events had caused Gojo Shunichi, one of their key figures, to reconsider his stance.

This shift in position forced their elder, Gojo Kumayan, to reevaluate their approach.

Thus, while they hadn't outright prevented Kensei from attending, they were determined to minimize his influence.

At first, they had been concerned about how to distinguish between Satoru and Kensei during the gathering. But seeing the katana Kensei carried, they realized it would be easy to tell them apart.

"Kensei, you seem to be in high spirits today."

Gojo Kumayan, the event's host and the Gojo clan's representative, finally spoke, drawing all eyes onto Gojo Satoru.
