Judgment Descends Upon the Naruto World

Yamanaka Inoichi raised his voice and publicly proclaimed Sarutobi Hiruzen's list of crimes.

"You people are all worthless, incompetent garbage! Danzō, Homura, you too, Koharu—every single one fell to that wretched Uchiha Chiyu!"

Koharu sneered bitterly:

"Aren't you likewise defeated?"

Hiruzen couldn't reply.

Yamanaka Inoichi then bowed slightly and said:

"Chiyu-dono, the charges are all laid out."

Chiyu nodded and stepped forward, ignoring Hiruzen's hoarse cries.

"Sarutobi Hiruzen, guilty of grievous sins beyond measure, with no atonement possible.

I, as Captain of the Police Force, officially pronounced the verdict in public—and now… carry out your execution!"

Two Police Force officers—Aoki and Yamakaze—dragged Hiruzen forward.

"Captain, please finish him yourself!"

Chiyu drew his blade behind him, raising it high.

Hiruzen sensed the lethal aura and finally trembled:

"Uchiha Chiyu, I—"

But Chiyu gave him no chance to speak.

The blade flashed down.

Plop.

Sarutobi Hiruzen's severed head tumbled onto the ruins of the collapsed Hokage Tower, blood gushing from the stump, mixing with the dust and debris.

Silence.

Then, an enormous cheer shattered the stillness.

Many stood conflicted, but the majority who beheld the horrors of his crimes shouted with the fierce triumph of justice done.

So ended Sarutobi Hiruzen—once the Third Hokage, a figure of complex history and innumerable sins—finally killed by Uchiha Chiyu.
