Journey to the West: Life Simulation of Sun Wukong

Chapter 25 The Daughter of the Rakshasa

"Damn monkey!"

However, the Bull Demon King miscalculated his move and was struck down from the clouds by Sun Wukong's staff, hitting the entire Bull King Cave and smashing it to smithereens.

"Focusing solely on divine skills and mana without cultivating moral character and status, even if one has vast divine powers and boundless mana, it's only about combat strength. When facing a foe of the same caliber, you can suffer a great loss."

Sun Wukong twirled his staff, descended slowly, and looked at the Bull Demon King lying in the ruins of the Bull King Cave, he spoke slowly.

"Damn it!"

The Bull Demon King struggled to get up and stimulated his flesh with his great mana, causing the blood to flow back and wounds to heal, but it seemed as if an energy within him was hindering his recovery.

Whenever stimulated, his entire body suffered even more unbearable pain, as if billions of sharp needles were passing through his internal organs.

"Still want to fight?"

Sun Wukong pointed at the Bull Demon King, blew a breath of spiritual energy that transformed into a white dragon, piercing through his nostril and interacting with the mana within him to form a blue nose ring.

"Moo!"

The Bull Demon King howled to the heavens and transformed into his original form, a great white bull.

His head was like a steep mountain, his eyes flashed like lightning, and his two horns resembled iron towers, his teeth were like rows of sharp blades. From head to tail, he measured over a thousand zhang in length and from hoof to back, about eight hundred zhang in height.

Under the influence of the nose ring, his body crackled with thunder and lightning, and he continuously shrank until he became a white bull five zhang long and three zhang tall.

"Henceforth, you shall be my mount and serve at my command. If you mend your ways, you may indeed become my protector," Sun Wukong determined the Bull Demon King's fate. No matter how fierce he became, a single tug on the nose ring would ensure unbearable pain and compliance.

Then, Sun Wukong summoned the Mountain God and Land God of Mount Jilei.

"We pay respects to the immortal!"

Sun Wukong nodded and recited the Rebirth Mantra, allowing the creatures slain by the Bull Demon King to pass on and reincarnate. Afterward, he took out a small cup and handed it to the Mountain God, saying, "You're more familiar with this place than I am, fetch a cup of the mountain's spring water."

Once he had the spring water, Sun Wukong threw it into the sky.

Instantly, the water from the cup multiplied from one to a hundred, from a hundred to a thousand, from a thousand to ten thousand, and from ten thousand to a hundred million, undergoing myriad transformations and combining with spiritual energy to form a vast expanse of white clouds, covering a thousand li and enveloping the entire Mount Jilei.

Whoosh whoosh whoosh!

The raindrops fell to the ground, green grass sprouted up, flowers bloomed everywhere, and everything seemed to revert to its previous state.

"We thank the immortal!"

The Mountain God and Land God thanked Sun Wukong in abundance, for natural restoration would have taken many years and months.

"Worry not, but in the days to come, you must comb through the ley lines and return the streams and rivers to their course, to truly revitalize this land with life," Sun Wukong had only begun the process, the continuing work was the responsibility of the local Mountain God and Land God.

The Mountain God said, "We will heed your command."

The Land God said, "It is our duty, and we will wholeheartedly devote ourselves to it."

Sun Wukong nodded slightly, mounted the great white bull, created reins, and wrapped them around the nose ring on the white bull. With a gentle pull, the bull gave a cry, clouds formed under its hooves, and it soared into the sky.

Two hundred li eastward, he passed a fine mountain.

The mountain's bones were made of stone, the earth's essence in rock. Mist and rosy clouds moistened it overnight, while moss and lichen added fresh greenery. Its towering form loomed over Penglai Island, and the quiet, fragrant flowers were as vast as the sea. A few lofty pines housed wild cranes, and several decaying willows spoke to mountain orioles.

Truly a millennial relic, an eternal haunt of immortals.

Sun Wukong knew that this was Emerald Cloud Mountain.

Yet he did not stop, but continued eastward, until a voice called out to him.

"Immortal, please wait!"

"Huh?"

Sun Wukong was taken aback and tugged on the reins, causing the White Ox to let out a painful cry as they descended from the clouds.

Standing before him was an elder dressed in a yellow and white Taoist robe, holding a horsetail whisk, appearing to be a person of peace and cleanliness. Accompanying him was a girl, around twelve or thirteen, in the prime of her youth.

"Immortal, this humble old man is a Taoist of Emerald Cloud Mountain, and this is my disciple, Rakshasa. We saw you traveling through the clouds and wondered where you might be going," the old Taoist inquired.

"I'm returning to my homeland, to Ao Lai Country's Huaguo Mountain in the Eastern Victory Divine Continent," said Sun Wukong. "May I ask why the elder has stopped me? What important matter do you have?"

"I wonder if the Immortal would be willing to take us in?" the old Taoist asked. "My disciple and I are willing to serve."

For the old Taoist, living here was indeed tranquil, but occasionally they were troubled by demons. If not for a treasure in hand, they couldn't protect everything adequately, let alone his disciple Rakshasa, who was naturally fierce and often caused trouble. To help her cultivate with a calm mind, she needed someone to watch over her. This content is hosted at M|V|LE^MPYR.

He was still capable at present but had not ascended to the ranks of immortals, nor did he have the Immortal Fruits or Immortal Pills that could prolong life. He could see his time to ride the crane west was approaching, and he needed to find a place for his disciple.

Initially, he had considered the Bull Demon King, a Demon King but known for his deep sense of friendship and loyalty, capable of protecting Rakshasa effectively.

But when he went out today, he heard distant thunder and then saw that the Bull Demon King had transformed into his original form, becoming the mount of this Immortal.

And this Immortal, with an aura of spiritual charm and surrounded by spiritual energy that twined to the sky's top, was not yet among the ranked immortals, but as long as he did not take an evil path, he would inevitably become either an Immortal or a Buddha.

Wasn't such a person much better than the Bull Demon King?

Not to mention, the Bull Demon King had now become another's mount. How could he let his disciple marry a beast of burden meant for pulling carts and plowing fields?

"What skills do you have?" Sun Wukong asked.

"This humble old man is called Fengyun. I have a Banana Leaf Fan, which originated from the Kunlun Mountains since the beginning of the chaos. It's a Spiritual Treasure, composed of the essence of Taiyang.

With one fan, regardless of humans, gods, ghosts, or demons, all would be blown away for eighty-four thousand miles," the Taoist Fengyun rolled up his sleeve, revealing a small fan tied to his wrist with a cord.

He took the fan off, recited an incantation, and it grew to the size of a normal palm-leaf fan, which he then handed over to Sun Wukong.

Sun Wukong took it, carefully examined the patterns on it, and indeed recognized it as a Spiritual Treasure capable of summoning winds and rains. While it was composed of the essence of Taiyang, it wielded the power of Taiyin, a perfect balance of yin and yang.

Sun Wukong closely sensed the fan and with a thought, it shrank to the size of an apricot leaf. He placed it under his tongue and said to Fengyun and Rakshasa, "If that's the case, then come with me to Huaguo Mountain."

"Thank you, Immortal!"

Fengyun, with Rakshasa, climbed onto the Great White Ox, heading together towards the Eastern Victory Divine Continent.

But along the way, Rakshasa was not happy but instead glared at Sun Wukong with a huff because the Banana Leaf Fan, intended by her master as a protective treasure for her, had been given to this monkey.

How infuriating!

One day, she must take the fan back and keep it in her mouth!

Upon returning to Huaguo Mountain, he had a few monkey grandchildren lead the White Ox to care for it well.

He wasn't worried about the Bull Demon rebelling. As long as the nose ring was there, he could only be a Great White Ox, not the Great Strength King of the Western chaos.

Afterward, he arranged residences for Fengyun and Rakshasa. Rakshasa also became his personal attendant, alongside the fair-faced little fox, serving by his side and offering protection.

"Great King, I have a name now!"

The fair-faced little fox said happily, "The Second Great King named me Xiaoyu. It might be a nickname, but I really like it. What kind of name will you give me, Great King?"

After learning the whole story, Sun Wukong chuckled and said, "Since that's the case, you shall be called Yuyan, deriving from the warmth of Lantian jade in the rising smoke of the sun. How about that?"

"Yuyan?" said the fair-faced little fox joyfully. "Great, from now on, I'll go by the name Yuyan."

"Hmph!"

Rakshasa snorted. "I am also your personal attendant. Shouldn't you give me a name as well?"

Sun Wukong smiled and returned her original name to her, "From now on, you shall be called Iron Fan."
