I've Become the King of Villains in the Game

Chapter 623: Dawn Church (End of Volume, Requesting Monthly Pass!)_3

Soon, Anton was surrounded by hundreds of women, chatting away. He dared not move recklessly, for fear of accidentally harming these mortals.

Yet women kept touching him up and down, making him feel itchy all over.

"Ahem!"

Golov saw the situation and coughed.

Then he intervened on behalf of Anton:

"Queen Caplan has decreed, inviting Lord Anton and Lady Maggie to the banquet. Please do not delay..."

However, his words had little effect.

The women merely glanced at him and then resumed their laughter and clung tightly to Antonio.

Golov felt a bit troubled, but fortunately, Morey beside him reacted quickly, immediately adding:

"The main purpose of this banquet is to increase the selection frequency for City of Cats. In the future, more outstanding men will be sent here!"

"Ah?!"

"Is it true?!"

"This is wonderful!"

"Praise the Azure King! Praise the Dawn!"

The women were thrilled and quickly released Antonio.

Finally, the five were able to smoothly leave the street and head towards the central Royal Palace.

"Thank you."

Anton chuckled and thanked Morey.

The latter quickly waved his hand.

The Golov trio has experienced pain and joy for the past half year. They also hope City of Light can introduce more male settlers; otherwise, the whole city would be too "stifling" and "crazy"...

The Dawn Church of City of Light was built beside the Royal Palace.

Larger than the one in City of Cats.

Seeing it from afar, both Maggie and Anton nodded with satisfaction.

Soon, the Golov trio escorted the two into the Royal Palace, where Queen Caplan and the other three queens warmly greeted them.

At the banquet, Maggie ate steak and asked:

"Queen Caplan, how are the 200 male settlers with excellent character and physique selected from City of Cats living here?"

"Very well!"

Queen Caplan wiped her mouth with a napkin, smiling brightly.

"They are very popular here, but Morin and I have set some policies, only the residents with the highest contributions are eligible to contact those men... Now those 200 men have already settled here."

Beside her, Queen Morin solemnly said:

"Nun Maggie, we ask the Dawn Church to reconsider the previous suggestion, hoping to lower the selection criteria and send more men over, as many as possible..."

"Ahem, I can't make that decision."

Maggie's brow perks up.

"But I will report again to Pope Floey."

"Thank you very much."

Queen Morin lets out a long breath.

After finishing the meal, Anton and Maggie rested in the backyard of the Royal Palace, leaning against the wall, overlooking the entire City of Light.

Under the sunset, all they saw were those stone buildings, quite magnificent.

"Anton misses Mr. Jack."

The tall youth faced the wind, looking sentimental.

This incarnation of his was actually created according to Mr. Jack's traits, black hair, black eyes... revealing that deep in his heart, Antonio admired the man who gave him freedom and dignity.

"Don't worry, the boss will come back."

Maggie is not very good at comforting people; she tiptoed and patted Anton's shoulder.

"Although quite a few people in City of Light worship the Cat God and the Dim Lady, because They can increase the birth rate... the most mainstream faith is still the Azure King and Proud Sun. With so many believers, the boss won't lose his anchor, coming back is a matter of time."

"That's good!"

Anton, like a big boy, chuckled happily again.

A woman in a carved black robe, wearing a black crown, slowly walked on the Heavenly Fields.

A huge dark wolf followed beside her.

Floey, as per routine, patrolled around the boundary of the Heavenly Fields, overlooking the changes of each place in the Immortal Realm below.

The breeze stirred her pale golden hair, a smile appeared on her face, and a hint of gratification flashed in her purple eyes.

"Lord Jack, the Immortal Realm is becoming more beautiful..."

She whispered.

"Did you see it?"

After a while.

Floey came back to her senses from daydreaming.

She sighed silently, intending to turn and leave.

Just then she looked up and saw, in the distance, a long-haired man cloaked in earth yellow standing at the boundary of the Heavenly Fields, overlooking the vast sky, holding a stack of scrolls, recording something with a quill.

Seemingly feeling Floey's gaze, Seth Mitchell stopped his pen, turned his head and nodded gently, Floey was first startled, then responded with a smile.

After Seth withdrew his gaze and continued his recording work, Floey took a deep breath and left.

Many angels temporarily resided on the Heavenly Fields.

When Floey usually encountered them, she would greet from a distance.

And these significant figures did not look down on her for being merely a Sequence Four Saint, but rather showed her respect.

Floey knew well in her heart, it's all because of Lord Jack.

The angels respect not herself but the true master of the Immortal Realm.

After traveling for a while, Floey saw in the verdant Heavenly Fields, the white-haired old mage Carmen, bowing his head like a child, being reprimanded by the gatekeeper Fleurette.

From afar she heard:

"I told you to stay at the White Tower to study, why did you run up here again?"

"Teacher, it's just that I haven't seen you for two months..."

"Two months is long? You can't come up again within ten years. If I find out, I'll send you to the real world for training!"

"Understood, teacher..."

Floey chuckled silently and quickly walked away.
