Chapter 623: Dawn Church (End of Volume, Requesting Monthly Pass!)_2
On one side of the White Tower is the newly built Dawn Cathedral.
Daye, the City Lord of the City of Cats, specially arranged elite black cats to guard this place.
The most attention-grabbing are two identical black cats, one old and one young, who often stand guard together.
Many new residents believe they are grandfather and grandson, while others say they are father and son, but what confuses them the most is that both black cats are named Nada.
The trio of Martin greeted the black cat Nada and proceeded directly into the outer courtyard of the Dawn Cathedral. Nine statues surrounding the main body of the cathedral came into view.
The King in Azure, wearing a crown and holding a sword, sits on the white throne above the cathedral, his face obscured, surrounded by serpents and cards.
On each side of the Great Gate are the Proud Sun, with iron wings and a beheading sword, and the Cat God with antlers.
Extending further to the left and right are statues of the Three Ladies of Pain, the Destiny Giant Serpent, the Gatekeeper, and the Former Guest, vividly lifelike, solemn and dignified.
The trio of Martin had just walked inside the cathedral, where all seats were filled with new residents of the Immortal Realm, devoutly watching as a white-cat missionary in a gray robe explained the rules and knowledge of the Immortal Realm at the bulletin board.
"All hopeless ones, outsiders, congratulations on stepping onto the land of redemption, and soon you will usher in a brand new and peaceful rebirth... This is the Immortal Realm, the Divine Kingdom of My Lord, the Azure King, and also your sanctuary."
The white-cat missionary said gently.
Then he led everyone in chanting the prayers to the Azure King.
"You are the door of the great chapters, the beginning of the grand epic...
You are the end of the supreme drama, the demise of all myths...
You are the master of the Immortal Realm and the Spirit World, the protector of outsiders, the Azure King of the guiltless sin!"
Within the cathedral, uneven yet devout prayers echoed.
Martin Gustus, Noah, and Alec silently closed their eyes, made prayer gestures, and sang along softly.
Before long.
The prayers concluded.
In the foremost seats, the short-limbed, tiger-striped brown City Lord Daye, wiped tears of relief and emotion. The old white cat beside him quietly consoled him.
Beyond that, there were two young men and two young women breathing deeply, unable to contain their excitement.
"Asoka, Felisiano, Raphael."
Connie whispered.
"You've only just arrived, Miss Floey hopes I can bring you here to observe and learn... This is Mr. Jack's Divine Kingdom, also a pure land, and if possible, you might be able to live here and even participate in the management of the City of Cats in the future."
The three young people looked surprised.
Soon they waved their hands in overwhelmed embarrassment.
Little Asoka's cheeks flushed bright red, extremely ashamed.
The trio of Martin watched this, smiling as they stood.
"Come, let's go to seek advice from Pope Floey and report our observations and situation in the City of Light."

Another train, "Homecoming," crossed the endless desert and slowly entered the deep ancient city, the City of Light, stopping at the western station.
A man and a woman, two church members dressed in gray robes, disembarked from the train.
Both were very young, the woman had long, smooth flaxen hair, pinned up and topped with a nun's exclusive hat, with a palm-sized black box pendant hanging over her chest.
The man was extremely tall, estimated to be over two meters, with a broad back and strong waist, fair skin, black curly hair, and an honest, naive smile.
The pair hadn't walked far when three thin figures rushed to meet them.
"Bishop Antony, Nun Maggie, we've been waiting for you for so long!"
Golov, with dark circles under his eyes looking withered, yet his bright eyes were like seeing the dawn of hope upon looking at them.
"Please follow me, Caplan and Morin, along with the four Queens, have already arranged a banquet..."
As he spoke, he patted the gray missionary robe on him, the wind and sand of the City of Light were too large, often coating him with dust after a walk around.
Antony merely smiled cheerfully, but Maggie showed interest as she glanced at Golov, Barton, and Morey, jokingly:
"My medicine isn't working?"
"It does work! The effect is excellent!"
Golov quickly turned back, squeezing out a flattering smile.
"Nun Maggie, it's just... it's just the side effects are not small, uh, I was bedridden for two days recently, couldn't get up, my legs were soft."
"I see, I'll go back and adjust it."
Maggie furrowed her brows, speaking thoughtfully.
As the group left the platform and walked into the City of Light, they felt extremely hot, the entire city seemed veiled in sunlight and yellow sand, stone domes and square buildings baked hot, wriggling in the air from a distance.
Ninety percent of the Immortal Realm residents on the street were female, all Black Sun Pathway Transcendents, mostly Sequence Nine and Sequence Eight, occasionally, a strong Mid Sequence was spotted.
"Bishop Antony!"
"Look, Bishop Antonio is here!"
Someone shouted, and the women of the City of Light flocked towards him.
Their skin was somewhat dark, but their eyes were very bright, full of surprise and anticipation.
"Antony, you're still so popular."
Maggie teased.
The tall Antony scratched the back of his head and chuckled honestly.
"Antony is very troubled, they all want to mate with Antony, but Antony is not interested in female humans... and as Pope Floey said, higher beings and mortals cannot mate, or else they will die."
