Injustice Superman in Marvel

Chapter 130: Fall!

At 9:14 PM, the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier hovered above Phoenix, systematically sniping the ever-increasing Chitauri drones in the vicinity.

This Helicarrier concentrated the top five technological forces of the Marvel Earth at that moment.

Since its arrival, over eight thousand Chitauri warriors had fallen to its attacks, a seemingly glorious feat... but it was far from enough.

Director Hill stood at the command deck, her face devoid of any joy, her mind racing with a thousand thoughts.

In the past hour, over three thousand nuclear weapons had been launched worldwide.

Yet, humanity's pride—their ultimate weapons—had been effortlessly neutralized by the aliens.

This outcome proved a philosopher's argument: the height of a civilization is not determined by its destructive power, but by its ability to protect itself.

In this regard, the aliens had won effortlessly.

Watching the Chitauri forces radiating outward from the American Midwest, witnessing the massacre of civilians by these extraterrestrial beings, Hill's heart was breaking.

But with all her mobile forces already deployed for resistance and rescue, what more could she do?

Take to the field herself?

If she were merely a superhero, she would have joined the fight, like Natasha at that very moment.

Another woman, Natasha, clad in Iron Man's armor, was soaring through Phoenix, mercilessly slaughtering the enemy.

But facing hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions, of relentless foes...

Hill knew all too well that what she lacked was not just one person, but hundreds of thousands, even millions, of capable warriors!

Of course, those warriors would need to be at least as skilled as S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Special Tactical Assault Teams.

Otherwise, they would be no match for the Chitauri.

In the movies, the Chitauri were already formidable, each equipped with energy weapons and personal drones.

Harshly put, they were cannon fodder for superheroes.

But viewed rationally, aside from lacking pumpkin bombs, they were no different from the Green Goblin.

Were these enemies ordinary Earth soldiers could handle?

Sigh...

Hill sighed, gritting her teeth, forcing herself to remember every act of slaughter before her eyes.

S.H.I.E.L.D., once the shield of humanity in her eyes?

Now, S.H.I.E.L.D. was far from deserving that title!

She must remember this hatred, vowing to repay the aliens tenfold in the future!

But that was for later. For now, Hill had to act, so she once again called Heisenberg's theater.

Billy, now fully in his role as a butler, answered the phone. Though not as perfect as Butler the Butler, he was competent enough.

Glancing at the caller ID, he saw a string of nonsensical numbers, far from a normal number.

He picked up the phone, understanding the situation.

"This is Heisenberg's Theater. You're Director Hill, right?

Asking about the aliens and the BOSS?

The BOSS has already gone to Oklahoma with Iron Man to provide support. Is there anything else?"

"Nothing else!"

Hill hung up abruptly, then quickly contacted S.H.I.E.L.D. personnel in Oklahoma.

With S.H.I.E.L.D. committing its main forces to Phoenix, other fronts were left with little more than temporary workers.

Fortunately, these temps were competent. Upon receiving Hill's orders, they quickly relayed the latest video updates amidst the chaos.

And so, Hill witnessed another of Heisenberg's powers!

...

Meanwhile, on the outskirts of Oklahoma, Heisenberg hurled Iron Man into the sky, sending him tumbling for nearly a dozen loops.

After stabilizing, Tony glanced irritably at the portal, only to find Heisenberg hadn't followed!

"Expand the view. What the hell is that bastard doing?"

Tony used his armor's vision to lock onto the other side of the portal, immediately spotting a pair of dogs... er, a couple embracing...

Tony rolled his eyes, then steered his armor directly toward the approaching Chitauri.

Without the Overmind's strategic command, the Chitauri couldn't maintain their formation. Now, they were like space pirates, rampaging through everything in sight.

These damn bastards even spared no mercy for Oklahoma's famous watermelon fields!

The area where Iron Man landed was originally hosting an annual watermelon competition—to see who could grow the largest watermelon!

But now, the contest had turned from size to color.

It was a competition between watermelons and humans to see whose shattered remains sprayed the reddest juice!!!

Tony's mind was devoid of any positive emotions, his negative thoughts completely overwhelming him.

He opened his shoulder and back armor, raising his palm cannons.

Countless missiles launched from his shoulders, while his palm cannons neatly blew off two Chitauri heads!

Then Tony puffed out his chest—not to show off his pecs.

The laser from his chest accompanied his turning motion, sweeping horizontally.

Like wiping a window, the Chitauri fell like dirt.

In the distance, a Chitauri pilot flew his craft to the portal, confused.

Confirming there were people on the other side, he flew through, aiming his energy spear at the embracing Heisenberg.

The noise made Heisenberg frown in annoyance.

But before he could act, the Ancient One, still in his embrace, raised her hand and delivered a powerful slap.

Boom!!!

Countless air currents, laced with immense magical power, created an effect akin to the Eighty Gods' Void Strike.

Both the Chitauri and his craft were reduced to debris.

The foul-smelling liquid splattered across the lounge, forcing Heisenberg to release the sorceress, whose presence brought him unparalleled peace.

"Let's go."

"See you soon."

As the words faded, Heisenberg rushed into the portal, while the Ancient One, after waving at him, closed the gateway.

Just as he passed through, a brilliant golden light struck him—Iron Man's laser hitting Heisenberg squarely in the chest.

"Sorry, I was just trying to take out the enemies near the portal!"

Tony quickly explained, then gritted his teeth, preparing to continue the slaughter.

Seeing Tony's displeasure at his tardiness, Heisenberg smiled understandingly.

Even if I changed you, you're still a hero, pal.

And heroes should do more heroic things. Slaughtering is too unprofessional for heroes!

Heisenberg coldly smiled, strode forward, and casually lifted Tony.

Then, with a sweep of his eyes, his thermal vision sliced through the approaching Chitauri.

"What are you doing?"

Tony asked irritably, but Heisenberg just smiled.

"You're too slow. Go save people!"

With that, he tossed Tony to the ground again. Even with the armor's protection, Tony was left dizzy.

By the time Tony steadied himself, the air around Heisenberg was already rippling with layered waves.

"Biological force fields, if not developed deeply enough, are no different from ordinary telekinesis.

I haven't fully developed it yet, but even at this level, it's enough for large-scale slaughter of the weak!"

Heisenberg muttered in the sky, lightly raising his right hand.

His biological force field instantly expanded.

Its range far exceeded that of his battle with Thanos.

As the force field spread, all survivors in Oklahoma, including the suburbs, miraculously found that the Chitauri chasing them had frozen!

Heisenberg, eyes closed, smiled, leisurely sensing the information of the immobilized Chitauri within his force field.

Then he slightly opened his mouth, whispering softly.

"Fall!"

Boom!!!

As his words fell, all of Oklahoma shook violently.

The cause of this tremor? The Chitauri, now pinned to the ground en masse!

Under Heisenberg's Kryptonian super-brain calculations, the gravity within the biological force field was precisely enhanced, targeting the Chitauri.

This enhancement was so powerful that over 130,000 Chitauri within a 30-kilometer radius were instantly crushed into soft, pulpy meat!!!

"Ahhhhhh!!!"

"God!"

"I'm saved!"

"Mommy!!!"

"Where am I?!!!"

Countless cries of salvation echoed from ruins and corners, snapping Tony out of his daze.

"Damn, you're too strong!!!"

Tony roared, then rushed like the wind to a child hanging from a water tower.

The child, in panic, had climbed the tower to escape the aliens, but his frightened, weak legs had failed him.

Fortunately, Tony arrived in time, rescuing the child with a smile.

The child, held in Tony's arms, had a face of mixed emotions.

The pain of losing his parents, the tension of being saved, and the excitement of meeting a superhero all blended together.

Iron Man saw a face stained with tears and blood, a face of anguish.

The roughly nine-year-old child clung tightly to Iron Man's armor, trembling, asking in a voice that wanted to cry but couldn't.

"Why... why is this happening?"

Hearing the child's question, Iron Man's heart tightened. For the first time, he was lost for words.

He had always believed his mind could solve any puzzle.

But what answer could this poor child bear?

Loss, pain, guilt, self-blame.

Countless bitter thoughts clouded Tony's vision.

Under his helmet, he took a deep breath, bit his lip, and placed the child on the ground.

The moment the child landed, his legs gave way, and he collapsed.

Tony quickly reached out to steady him.

Feeling the cold yet sun-like warmth of the Iron Man armor, the child's tears flowed uncontrollably.

Tony silently reached out, rubbing the child's head.

"I'm sorry!"

He whispered.

"If you ask why you've endured such suffering...

I'm sorry!

Because I didn't do my best!"
