Injustice Superman in Marvel

Chapter 119: The Former King Odin

Odin's roar, laced with divine blood, caused Heisenberg's muscles to tense up entirely.

Gazing at the sky-reaching, earth-piercing crimson lightning before him, Heisenberg felt as if he were witnessing the invincible Hela from the movies!

The scene where the princess, harnessing Asgard's inherited divine power, wielded a blade as towering as a mountain to pierce Surtur's chest was forever etched in Heisenberg's memory!

Yet the thunder Odin had personally summoned, channeling Asgard's inherited might, dwarfed Hela's display by an immeasurable degree!

Meanwhile, after rebuking Thor, Odin finally raised Gungnir, the divine spear in his right hand, high into the air.

His movement was excruciatingly difficult, as if he were lifting not a weapon but the entire sky itself.

Gungnir swiftly lost its physical form, assimilated by the thunder into a crimson lightning shape.

Odin hovered in mid-air, his left hand clenched tightly into a fist, while his right hand exerted every ounce of strength, pouring all his power into Gungnir.

The rolling thunder in the sky surged instantly, swirling into a massive vortex. At the center of this colossal lightning maelstrom was the spear destined to strike Heisenberg!

"Go!!!"

Odin's single word sent chills down Heisenberg's spine, making every hair on his body stand on end!

Dodge?

Impossible!

He could never evade this attack!

Was it Kryptonian pride at play?

Or Superman's instinct to never dodge an enemy's strike?

No, neither!

The only reason he remained rooted to the spot was that he simply couldn't escape!

In that instant, a crystal-clear instinct surged within Heisenberg.

Just as we don't need to think about how to open our mouths to eat or how to open our eyes to see the world.

Heisenberg didn't need to think; he already knew that in the next moment, the spear descending from the heavens would pierce his chest!

And this was the unique divine power of Gungnir and Odin, as well as the truth-binding force inherent in the weapon.

Unavoidable!

No matter where you flee, no matter where you hide, Gungnir will always strike true—there is no other possibility!

Of course, this is limited to the multiverse where Gungnir exists!

But would Heisenberg let the system send him to another multiverse just to avoid an inescapable attack?

Impossible!

Heisenberg stood his ground, and the world before him suddenly slowed to a crawl.

Simultaneously, he swiftly raised his hand, and an invisible force field, centered on his palm, tore forward in a rapid spin.

The continuous manipulation of the four fundamental forces caused the space and time in front of Heisenberg's palm to rip apart, creating a slight hindrance to Gungnir's advance!

Not only that, Heisenberg's eyes suddenly unleashed a heat vision, whose primary power lies in its impact force!

Yes, heat vision is not the high-temperature laser we imagine.

In reality, it's a shockwave that causes impact damage through the deformation and transformation of solar radiation!

Its true power is like a railgun—pure impact force!

As for its ability to melt most substances, that's merely a secondary effect accompanying the release of solar radiation.

The tearing grand unified force field and the most ferocious heat vision collided fiercely with the tip of the incoming thunder.

Heisenberg could clearly see Gungnir's speed falter for the briefest instant.

In the next moment, Heisenberg was sent flying backward, crashing into the distant, majestic Asgardian palace!

Boom!!!

Deafening crashes and collapses echoed as Heisenberg, despite using his bio-force field to slow his flight, uncontrollably pierced through two layers of the palace walls!

And now, Heisenberg had landed in the most sacred spot of the entire palace!

On the throne where only the All-Father was permitted to sit, Heisenberg was impaled by Gungnir!

Gungnir transformed into a conduit, channeling the boundless lightning from beyond the heavens and pouring it into Heisenberg's heart!

Numbness, scorching heat, shattering—countless forces spread through Heisenberg's left chest.

He couldn't quickly rely on stored solar radiation to heal his heart!

"Ughhhh!!!"

His roar echoed through the palace, causing the Asgardians outside to breathe a sigh of relief.

In an instant, the palace's main gate collapsed, its once exquisite doors now exposing the grand hall to countless Asgardian onlookers.

Heisenberg's writhing, pain-filled body was now on full display for all to see.

Frigga exhaled deeply, turning to her younger son, Loki.

Loki wasn't looking at Heisenberg but was staring blankly at Odin, who was falling to the ground, drained of strength.

Even in his current wretched state, Odin's image in Loki's heart remained towering!

"How… how can he be so strong?!"

Loki blurted out, his only question at that moment.

Having been by Odin's side for over sixteen hundred years, Loki had almost never seen Odin fight, so he couldn't fathom the true extent of this ancient god's power!

Hearing Loki's question, Frigga took a breath and raised her head slightly.

"Child, remember, Asgardian gods only grow stronger with age.

And your father, because his eternal slumber was interrupted by you, is now rapidly losing his life force.

He is now likely as powerful as he would have been ten thousand years from now, and the divine power within him has reached the level of the ancient kings of the Nine Realms!

This power should have dissipated within half a year, leading to his end—that's what both your father and I believed.

But you changed his destiny, allowing all his might to blossom in this era!"

As she spoke, tears welled up in Frigga's eyes. She sighed softly and cupped Loki's face in her hands.

"Child, go see him. No matter how much you hate him, he's about to die."

Hearing Frigga's words, Loki's eyes flickered with a hint of hesitation.

But before he could respond, Thor suddenly roared in the distance.

"Father!!!"

In an instant, Thor flew toward the falling Odin, catching him and laying him gently on the ground.

Watching Thor embrace Odin and weep, Loki couldn't help but tightly press his lips together.

Moments later, he relaxed, turning to Frigga with his usual elegant smile.

"Look, someone's already taking care of him. He hardly needs me, does he?"

With that, Loki turned and attempted to quietly slip away from the crowd.

If he didn't want to be noticed, no one in Asgard could spot him—that was his confidence!

But after taking just two steps…

"Ouch! That really hurts… Damn it!"

The voice from the palace throne stunned everyone near the palace!

The closer onlookers turned their heads without exception.

And when they looked toward the throne, they saw Heisenberg reaching out with his right hand to grasp Gungnir, which was crackling with electrical sparks!

Sizzle!!!

He gripped Gungnir with both hands, inch by inch pulling the divine spear outward.

Gungnir, the throne, and Heisenberg's flesh continuously grated against each other, producing the ear-piercing screech of metal on metal.

Sizzle!!!

The sound persisted as the spear gradually detached from the throne's backrest.

Finally…

Boom!!!

Heisenberg, still impaled by the spear in his chest, fell heavily from the throne's backrest onto Odin's seat!

Blood splattered, staining the most revered throne of the Nine Realms.

Heisenberg, gritting his teeth, sat there and pulled the spear completely out of his chest.

"Ugh!!!"

He groaned in pain, quickly mobilizing his force field to close the wounds in his heart and chest.

Afterward, the forcibly closed wounds rapidly depleted Heisenberg's stored solar radiation.

The energy caused his wounds to shrink, and within moments, they were completely healed!

Clearly, while Odin's spear was powerful, its lingering effects were far milder than those of the Infinity Gauntlet snap.

The injury Heisenberg sustained from the snap on his right arm required at least four to five hours of sunlight to heal.

But the wound from Odin's spear healed in mere seconds.

Simply put, Asgardian divine power is far inferior to the might of the Infinity Stones.

Feeling his wounds heal, Heisenberg gripped Gungnir tightly.

The spear before him looked utterly ordinary. If not for that momentary burst of power, who would believe this was the mightiest weapon in the Nine Realms?

Perhaps a weapon's strength lies in the one who wields it.

Heisenberg sat there, posing with the spear raised high, aiming at Odin, who was now leaning in Thor's embrace.

Whoosh!!!

With a sharp sound, Gungnir shot forth like an arrow.

In an instant, the old father, enjoying his son's embrace, was suddenly pierced through the chest by his own weapon, pinned before Thor!!!

"Ughhhh!!!"

Odin let out a heart-wrenching roar, then abruptly pushed Thor aside, sending the enraged prince flying over seventy meters!

Thor came to a stunned halt, watching as his father, who should have been utterly vulnerable, pulled the spear from his chest!

"By Odin's name, how is this possible!!!"

"The Midgardian god is still alive?!"

"Look, he's sitting on the throne now!"

"Unbelievable! I've never seen anyone withstand the All-Father's full power!"

"Even such terrifying might couldn't defeat that god—how did he do it?!"

In the areas farther from the palace, spectators who hadn't noticed Heisenberg's self-rescue were now shouting in astonishment.

Meanwhile, Loki, who had intended to leave, smiled and took a step back, returning to his mother's side.

"Looks like it's not over yet!"

"Indeed, it's not over," Frigga replied, her eyes anxiously fixed on Odin's movements.

Facing Heisenberg, who now sat on the throne, Odin leaned on Gungnir and reached his right hand toward his remaining eye!

But just then, Thor, who had been pushed aside, lunged toward Odin.

He shielded Odin behind him and shouted furiously at Heisenberg on the throne!

"Heisenberg, why are you doing this!!!

If you want Asgard, come at me! I am Asgard's destined ruler!

Let's fight the next battle—you, you…"

Boom!!!

A dull thud echoed as the battle-ready Thor was suddenly struck down by Odin's spear.

When Thor rose, stunned, he saw Odin grinning at him with a bloodthirsty excitement, completely unconcerned with the blood spilling from his chest.

Odin lightly touched his eye socket and roared at Thor:

"To die in battle is every Asgardian's honor!

Yet you dare obstruct my fight, cursing me to die in humiliating sickness?

I thought there was no one in the Nine Realms worthy of my full power!

But fate has granted me a perfect opponent!

Win or lose, today will be the most glorious day of my life!

Do not stand in my way, Thor!!!"
