Chapter 118: The Final Thunder

As Heisenberg's confident words fell, the surrounding Asgardians erupted in shock.

Amidst their astonishment, Odin's beard twitched slightly, a sign of his clenched jaw in anger at Heisenberg's arrogance.

Odin slammed his spear, Gungnir, into the ground and declared,

"May your strength match your arrogance!"

"And you, clad in armor, are no less arrogant than me, Your Majesty the All-Father."

Heisenberg replied, twisting his wrist and nodding at Odin.

"I've never fought such a formal battle before. Should I introduce myself, or shall we begin?"

"As you wish, God of Midgard. As the younger, you have the first move…?!?"

Boom!

Before Odin could finish, he was sent flying over a hundred meters, stunned and helpless.

Heisenberg's punch landed squarely on his chest, leaving Odin no chance to react—he simply couldn't keep up.

Heisenberg was too fast!

As Odin flew backward through the air, he steadied his breathing.

He spun Gungnir in his right hand, unleashing a torrent of lightning that halted his fall, preventing further damage to Asgard's city.

"What just happened?!?"

"Did I see that right?"

"How could the All-Father…?"

"He's so fast!"

"Your Majesty!"

The spectators were bewildered, and even Frigga turned to Loki in shock.

"That… that is…?" she asked, stunned.

"An opponent beyond the imagination of the gods, Mother," Loki replied, a smile of anticipation spreading across his face.

Meanwhile, in the small plaza, Heisenberg disdainfully shook his right hand.

"Your Asgardian armor is quite sturdy!"

As he spoke, Sleipnir, the eight-legged steed, let out a fierce roar.

No need to ask why Sleipnir was there—Heisenberg, having struck Odin, now stood in the All-Father's place.

Odin's loyal mount was startled by Heisenberg's sudden appearance.

Sleipnir neighed, its four back legs suddenly powering forward, lifting its four front legs high into the air!

Then, the towering steed slammed its front legs down with immense force.

As the All-Father's mount, Sleipnir possessed strength rivaling that of a dragon.

Its full-force stomp, if it landed, could destroy kilometers of Asgard's land and buildings.

But what of it?

Under the tense gaze of countless spectators, Heisenberg's right fist met Sleipnir's hooves with a fierce blow.

Boom!

The explosive impact forced many Asgardians to instinctively step back, while Sleipnir let out a mournful cry, soaring over seven thousand meters into the sky!

It didn't begin descending until it was nearly out of sight.

Odin had no time to tend to his steed.

Heisenberg soared into the air, instantly closing the distance to Odin.

With casual ease, he landed two punches, leaving the All-Father—a god who had never doubted his own power—deeply questioning his strength.

Even as Odin blocked with Gungnir and summoned Asgard's ancestral power, Heisenberg's strikes forced him to lose his footing, sending him flying backward each time!

"What kind of divine power is this?!"

Frigga roared in shock from afar.

"Across the Nine Realms, I've never seen such pure strength—not even Tyr possessed such astonishing power!"

"Yes, even the former Lord Tyr couldn't match this!"

"Why aren't Lord Thor and the legion commanders here? This is no battle for the All-Father alone!"

"Nonsense! This is a war between gods, a contest for the throne of the Nine Realms. No one can interfere!"

"The All-Father has aged!"

"How can he win?"

"Even if Lord Thor were here, he couldn't defeat such an opponent!"

As the spectators' shocked comments filled the air, Sleipnir finally crashed back to the ground.

Boom!

The small theater cracked in countless places.

Though Sleipnir had wings, it couldn't even slow its fall.

Struck by Heisenberg, it had lost all will to fight.

It lay unconscious, three legs broken…

No one had time to tend to the fallen steed. All eyes were on Heisenberg and Odin, their battle raging across the city.

It was less a battle than a brutal beating. Despite Odin's constant blocks, his figure was sent flying like Thor's hammer, chaos reigning across the city.

The beating lasted over two minutes.

Until Odin could endure no more.

In the stunned silence of the spectators, Heisenberg landed another punch on Odin's chest. The All-Father's sturdy armor shattered, reduced to scraps.

Agonizing pain forced Odin to spit out a mouthful of divine blood, and he knew his fate would likely end today.

As he flew backward, Odin's body erupted in dazzling lightning.

The thunder, starting from his right hand, quickly spread across Asgard's sky.

In moments, the heavens above the palace were entirely obscured by endless lightning.

Bloodied, Odin stood amidst the thunder, roaring at Heisenberg, who had paused in the distance.

"Tell me your name, God of Midgard!"

"Heisenberg!"

"Very well. The Nine Realms will forever remember this name!

Heimdall, send all Midgard's legion commanders, and my foolish son, back to our realm!

I must teach them what true Asgardian power is!

If I miss this chance, I fear I'll never have another!

Heimdall!"

"Yes, Your Majesty!"

Heimdall's eyes welled with tears as he relayed Odin's command, swiftly contacting all legion commanders and Thor.

In the Asgardian fleet battling the Chitauri outside Earth's atmosphere, every warrior heard Heimdall's urgent order.

"All legion commanders and Lord Thor, prepare to answer the Bifröst's call. Return to Asgard to witness the All-Father's battle!"

The legion commanders were baffled.

Sif quickly turned to Thor.

"What's happening? Isn't it just the All-Father? Could it be his long-dead brother returning?"

"How should I know? Damn it, it's probably Loki's doing. Heimdall, how is my father?"

Thor roared into the void, but Heimdall didn't respond.

Meanwhile, including the Warriors Three, all thirty-three Asgardian legion commanders prepared for transport.

Chief Legion Commander Sigmund surveyed the area and ordered from the flagship's command room,

"All combat squads, hand command to the Einherjar. Legion commanders, prepare for departure!"

"Yes, sir!"

The surviving Asgardian warriors replied in unison.

Moments later, dozens of Bifröst beams precisely landed on the legion commanders' ships.

Back in Asgard, the thunder continued to gather and intensify.

Brilliant lightning patterns coalesced into plasma, then shifted to the color of magma.

The tangible divine thunder ignited the sky, casting a blood-red hue over all who watched.

Under this crimson lightning, Frigga waved her hands, summoning the Bifröst in response to Odin's command.

In the next instant, the thirty-three legion commanders and Thor materialized in the original battlefield—the center of the shattered small theater.

As they landed, the deafening roar of thunder above drew their stunned gaze to the sky.

The vast crimson plasma stretched endlessly, like an ocean of thunder!

Thor stared in disbelief. The power gathered in the sky was beyond anything he could imagine in his two thousand years of life.

He was the God of Thunder, yet he felt he could never comprehend such lightning!

Beside him, Chief Legion Commander Sigmund roared in astonishment,

"This is the All-Father's power! Who is his enemy? Who could force him to unleash such mighty divine power?"

Sif, standing beside him, slowly shook her head, her voice heavy with pressure.

"This is Asgard's power—the source of the divine realm, the strength of our entire planet. It's a force the All-Father unleashes only in the direst moments!"

"Damn it, who is that man in Midgardian clothing facing the All-Father?!"

"I don't recognize him. Has anyone heard of a new god in Midgard?"

"So it's not an ambush but a direct one-on-one battle?"

"Thor, observe everything carefully. If the All-Father falls, we face a dire struggle!"

The legion commanders exchanged remarks, quickly immersing themselves in the gravity of the moment.

Thor, too, finally saw Heisenberg clearly.

His eyes widened, and he let out a thunderous roar in Heisenberg's direction.

"It's you, Heisenberg!"

Asgard's impulsive Thunderer extended his right hand, and Mjolnir streaked across the cosmos, returning to his grip.

He ignored the extra handprint on the hammer, his sole focus now on crushing the man who dared threaten his father.

But he chose the wrong moment.

Heisenberg, sensing Odin's boundless divine power, had already summoned his own strength.

Every cell in Heisenberg's body now burned with the scorching power of the sun.

Hearing Thor's roar, Heisenberg glared at him, his eyes unleashing a torrent of heat like a raging river.

The red light struck Mjolnir, instantly heating the hammer to a glowing red.

The powerful impact sent the unawakened Thor flying back toward the legion commanders.

"Thor!"

Vali cried out, soaring into the air amidst the spectators' anxious gazes, catching Thor firmly.

But even Vali couldn't resist the force, and the two tumbled into the legion commanders' ranks.

Only Sigmund's intervention halted their fall.

Sif rushed to Thor's side, pulling him and Vali to their feet.

Thor, ready to charge again, was stopped by Odin's voice echoing from the sky.

"Calm your reckless heart, my son!

Feel the omnipresent power of thunder!

The path of runes is vast and profound. Master them, and even the Vanir will bow before you!

Watch me, observe every move and decision I make!

For you have only this one chance…

And because…

This is my final thunder, Thor!"
