Chapter 323 - Breathe in, Breathe Out
Just when I was about to start waking up the guys, Samir suddenly barged inside the room frantically looking for me. He realized that I haven't started anything yet so he sighed in relief.
He approached me and gave me a helpless smile. He then asked, "Please calm down. Mother and father told me you left the study quite angrily."
I looked at him with the same cold face I used to look at Ioannis before I left the study. I just stared at him but did not say anything else for a while.
He seemed to not be able to stand the silence and was getting uncomfortable so he asked, "Are you waking up Luxiel today?" Oh, so that's the name of this guy from House Flynn.
I nodded to his direction then sarcastically declared, "But I want chaos to descend since I get scolded and accused either way so I was thinking, I might just wake up all three men including the ones from the Casimir and Amagai household. It would be great to just start everything with a bang, right?"
Samir looked at me in confusion and then his eyes widened as he realized what I was planning. I smirked at him and for some reason his face started to become paler like he was fearing something.
He gave me a forced smile and attempted to change my mind by saying, "Wife, please calm down. We arranged to just wake up one sleeping guy last time. That's just Luxiel, right?"
I looked at him and said, "I am perfectly calm as you see. I am just being practical. Does it matter who wakes up first? I will wake all of them up eventually so what's the difference with doing it in one go for all three to save your time and effort in briefing them?" I smirked at him with an evil glint in my eyes.
I literally saw Samir shiver when I looked at him with those mischievious eyes of mine. He inhaled deeply and though reluctantly he said,"Umm... Luxiel is fine. He is hot-headed but reasonable. Touya is reserved and only speaks his mind when needed. Those two are fine but the last one. Can you delay waking up that one?"
I looked at him with a raised eyebrow and clarified, "Why do I need to delay waking up Altair? Do you have personal issues with each other?"
Samir now looked stressed and he tried to change the topic, "Wife, you are just angry. Try to breathe in and out deeply several times to calm down, alright? We don't have to be rash."
I shook my head and smiled, "I am calm and not being rash. My main consort said he doesn't like drama and can't handle fights between men. We can delegate the handling of those affairs to any of these three. It will unlock those foggy areas too."
This time, Samir sounded scared, "I'm telling you that if you wake up that guy from House Casimir, he will be the personification of chaos on his own. He is the undisputed king of sarcasm and dramas. He is insufferable to almost all the people who met him. Even his own parents were helpless with that guy. Do you understand what I am saying?"
I smiled at Samir sweetly and said, "That's great to hear. He's perfect for handling the issues between husbands then! You just need to brief these people and future personnel about their tasks. I trust that you can do that well."
With that final decision, I raised my hand then lifted Samir off the ground and kicked him out of the room. I started pulling out three blood orbs from my storage space and let it float right on top of the three indentations on the wooden frame above the head of the three sleeping guys.
I laughed a bit at what I was about to do. Since Altair is insufferable, that would be great! I'll let him handle the fights and dramas since he liked them. He can do it to his heart's content. We just all have to learn to suck up whatever life gives us, right?
With that, three drops of blood simultaneously went to the three beds. The wood absorbed it hungrily as the glass dome started to fade gradually from its base upwards. They are really waking up soon.
I turned around and started walking towards the door. Once I opened it, Samir was still there seated on the ground while leaning on the wall. I just walked passed him as he shakily stood up and almost ran to the inside of the room.
I heard him curse and that must be the time he noticed that I really woke up all three guys at the same time. After a few steps, I reached the stairs and started going down. I took my time taking the steps, planning on reaching the lowest floor leisurely.
Once I reached the floor where Ioannis' room was, I saw him running towards the stairs with the intention of running to the top floor. Samir must have told him what I was planning to do. When he saw me, he stiffened and stopped running.
I saw him but chose to look away for now since I may look calm but I am not. He started saying something but before he can get a few words out, I teleported away to the room of beginnings where my father was.
When I appeared inside the room of beginnings, I immediately walked to the six receptacles that are currently nurturing my children. I checked if each one was growing well and being nurtured enough.
I walked to the receptacle assigned to me and deposited some of my essences for "milk" production. Before I was finished with my task, both my parents appeared inside the room.
This time, my father was the first to speak. His voice doesn't have that jolly tone in it while my mother looked at me with a little sadness in her eyes.
My father asked, "Are you still mad at Ioannis? I heard Samir's cry for help. You woke up the three guys downstairs?"
I looked at my father and replied, "Mad might not be an appropriate description of what I feel right now. I maybe just irritated, overworked, stressed and thought that since I will wake them up eventually, why not do it in one go?"
My mother looked at me and smiled. She then said, "You are the queen. You can do anything you want and if someone died, me and your father will help you hide the body." I saw a smirk forming in my mother's lips after she said those words.
My father looked at my mother in surprise and added, "We can bury it somewhere that no one knows about. We can also turn it to ash to avoid evidence. We can place them in the dungeon too until you decide what to do with them."
I laughed at how my parents are ready to get rid of anyone that angers me. For some reason though, I know it is not a joke too. They will really do it if I requested it from them.
I laughed nervously and replied, "I think you two are the ones who are mad right now. No one has to die. I am just waking up people."
The two stayed silent and just looked at me with a deadpan expression. I nervously looked away and changed the topic.
I asked my father, "Father, I will let you know when I will visit again. Can you bring the twins in my room when that time comes so I can spend time with them?"
My father nodded to my request readily. My mother then spoke, "You can take as much time as you need. Ioannis has been learning from me and I will make sure to teach him how to be a proper consort. He is stressing you out with unnecessary chatter. You just have to focus on your tasks at hand for now. I will handle him."
I looked at my mother and replied, "Okay. I trust your judgement on his education, mother. Oh, get that "honeymoon suite" ready. I need it soon. Thanks, mom."
I heard my father make a victory "Yes!" only to quietly sit in one corner with a glare from my mother. My father looked like he was about to cry when I heard my mother say, "I'll take care of it with your father. Don't worry. You'll need it in about a week in human realm time, correct?"
I nodded at my mother and replied, "Yes, that's right. By then, I will stay here a little over two weeks with Kayden first. I will then return with him after that. By the end of that same week in human realm time, I will come back with Dimitri and stay with the same amount of time."
My parents nodded and looked at me worriedly. To avoid talking about the little spat that me and my first husband had, I added, "Before then, I will need to settle things in Marahuyo and I will be moving more tenants inside the world tree realm. Please take care of the twins and their father."
My father assured me that he will do that even if I don't ask him to. I also told him in passing that the fairy fathers of my children might want to see the orbs in the future and he calmly told me that it was natural for them to request this. He said that he can make arrangements in case I agree to their pleas to ensure that no issues arise.
I gratefully hugged both my parents that had my back even if I am having my own mood swings right now. As I went out the room of beginnings followed by my parents, I encountered Samir and for some reasons, he wasn't alone. I saw three pairs of eyes staring at me with complicated emotions.
Touya looked at me as if he wants to scold me for some reason but he was blushing at the same time. Luxiel was also staring at me with wide eyes. His mouth opened and closed several times like a fish but he was unable to say anything.
The third guy at the back, Altair smirked at me. He then chuckled and said to me, "It's nice to see you again."
With his comment, all the others looked at him in confusion. He did not say anything more so the several pairs of eyes stared back at me. I scoffed and smirked back, "I heard from Samir that you were insufferable. I think that would be fun to watch in the days to come."
I heard Samir curse under his breath. At the same time, Touya, uncharacteristically clicked his tongue and Luxiel sighed heavily. Altair laughed loudly like an evil being.
