Inheriting a Lost Bloodline, My First Task is to have heirs?!

Chapter 296 - Rescuing in the guise of a sudden visit

As I appeared inside my mansion inside Marahuyo through teleportation, I was finally able to sigh in relief. Who would have thought that a sudden visit in Aeterdumnox to meet my father-in-law, King Eirsolin, will result to meeting a person I never intended to meet within the near future. That was a really close call.

I really don't want to meet with that blood demon yet but doing so still got me some unexpected benefits. I stole a majority of his mana and life essences since of course, the food for my children comes first. It was just a sudden thought that came to me and I knew I had to do it when I sensed his presence. It was a good thing that I did not need to touch Athan to get my children's milk ingredients from him.

As expected within a few minutes, my three husbands are already knocking excitedly at the main door of the mansion. It is already late in the afternoon so I think I would just stay here tonight. Since I am done mapping the first half of Aeterdumnox, I think it is time to work on Lyartaim now before it is too late to rescue the beast men living in that filthy separate village.

Learning from experience from Ioannis pregnancy, I hurriedly used several layers of cleansing magic on myself to remove any lingering scent or aura from Void. Pregnant men have very keen senses and are jealous of other men approaching the mother of their children. It is better to do this to avoid any potential problems.

Once I have cleaned myself well, I finally went down the stairs and opened the door for my men who immediately pounced on me for hugs and kisses. The other men living within the courtyard are also present but they chose to just look in my direction curiously but still kept some distance. Sure, I know they expect me to help them get pregnant soon but I honestly don't know when that "soon" will be. I just have so many things on my plate right now that I don't know which one to do first.

I called on the others that are looking from afar out of courtesy and invited them to go with me to the community kitchen to prepare dinner then have a meal together. They looked relieved and were seemingly happy that I gave them some of my attention. They readily agreed to my invitation to join me and my three husbands at the community kitchen.

My entourage was quite huge. Including me and my three husbands, there were more or less a dozen more who chose to follow me so the people living near the plaza couldn't help but look my way and notice our arrival. I went straight to the community kitchen to help out after settling the pregnant men on their seats. My other companions started help out with the meal preparation as well.

Whenever I visit Marahuyo, I make it a point to cook meals for everyone while also making sure that they have enough food stored enough to feed all the citizens for at least a month or so. I also ask around to check if there are any issues that the citizens may be facing so I can help them settle it the soonest. I also look into the herbs and medicine inventory to keep the supplies enough in case some people get sick or injured especially now that the number of people opting to live here in Marahuyo is increasing.

After the delicious and warming meal, I asked for a short meeting with the assigned leaders of each race and the beast men who were part of the Lyartaim rescue planning last time. We all went to the town hall and I relayed to them all the information I received from reports that I got from Void. I also showed them the detailed map of the whole Lyartaim sanctuary including that of the separate village.

I told them about my plan of infiltrating the separate village tonight and marking all of its citizens so that I can easily teleport them to Marahuyo when I deem that the time is right. This is also to make sure that I can ensure that all those beast men are fitenough to survive the effects of teleportation since most of them might be injured or weak from starvation. As for the Lyartaim sanctuary, I am planning to visit it officially as a rich merchant from Hoffen by noon tomorrow. I don't think that will be counted as a lie since I am technically a rich businesswoman right now.

I thought of using this route to reduce the possibility of injuring my people in case a fight breaks out. Since I am not short of money and we all know that the current leaders of Lyartaim are very fond of money, it would be best to appeal to them by offering to buy slaves and products they produce. I will pretend to be haughty and sleazy to convince the leaders to sell their kind to me.

As evil as they are, these leaders will definitely not want others they deem as unworthy to do well so they will definitely sell their kind to someone who looks cruel like my make-believe persona. I will immediately request for them to let me pick any person I want from the sanctuary. I will make it look like I am pointing at people randomly but I will definitely choose the ones from the list of priority targets.

It will be hard for the greedy leaders to say no to someone who is willing to pay large amounts of either money or food which the sanctuary is in desperate need of as of the moment. Selling these slaves to me will also mean less mouths to feed, further stretching the number of days the amount of resources they have can support their population.

The beast men looked at me as if they are worshipping how smart I am which was kind of uncomfortable. As for the other races present, they have qualms about me giving anything to those evil beings which I also understand. I calmed down everyone by saying that I will pick as many useful and kind-hearted beastmen as possible. As for the resources that I will give to Lyartaim, I told them that I do not mind letting those go since it is something we can earn back and what we have to focus is rescuing people first.

With an evil smirk, I divulged that since this is the first and the last time Lyartaim will get anything from me, might as well go all out to make them blinded by greed and not think clearly. I promised them that all the people that I will bring out from the beast men sanctuary will be the only ones who will get the chance to live in the new world tree realm in the future.

My visit to Lyartaim will be first and foremost, a rescue mission for the beast men living in the separate village. At the same time I will be doing a more detailed map of the sanctuary for Laerad's reference for the construction of our version of Lyartaim in the world tree realm. I am also quite interested in the products produced by the sanctuary so it sounded like a business deal too. Getting more people or manpower is part of growing a business anyways.

I do not plan to tell them that I am connected to Eieneos since they are not worth the trouble. I am planning to just appear like a slave trader, bringing as many people out as I can. Since the leaders hate their existence, I will prioritize the weaker herbivores as well as the omnivores that were being abused, in particular, the sickly ones that are being thrown to the side. As long as they have skills and talents that can be of use to manage any of my businesses and territories, I will take them with me.

I will also take a few carnivores just to ensure that I can produce offspring to stop their tribes from extinction. Void has given me a list of potential "vessels" as he termed it and the beast men living inside Marahuyo gave me some names and descriptions on where to find some reliable ones as well.

Once the plan has been finalized, I asked everyone to prepare our hospital to treat the possibly injured that I will be sending back. I also pre-selected people to cook the meals to feed the rescued beast men and then a team to clear up some space where temporary tents can be placed for living spaces for the new inhabitants. This rescue mission involves the whole sanctuary so each one readily volunteered based on their skills and strengths.

I still advised them to have ample rest tonight since the new inhabitants won't be here till about tomorrow around late in the afternoon so they still have time to prepare the things I have asked for. I still requested some people to stay awake as backup just in case something happens that is not within the plan. I left a few more potions as well as medicinal herbs for processing to the healers and alchemists. Hopefully, I won't find too many sickly or injured people since I may not be able to reign in my anger by that time.
