Barry gave Shen Ye a cold look and walked into the elevator without a word.

As the laboratory door opened, the three walked inside.

Shen Ye pursed his lips. He was confident he could dodge Barry's bullets and believed Barry wouldn't shoot Jill, but Wesker would definitely not show mercy, unless he was willing to watch Jill die.

"Alright, you're right, two-on-one, we don't have the advantage." Shen Ye lowered his head slightly, but his face showed no tension at all.

Then, he threw down his rifle, but Barry, at Wesker's signal, still took his pistol and shotgun, leaving him only the seemingly unsharp triangular bayonet... and the M1911 that Barry hadn't discovered.

"Barry, why...?" Seeing Barry come to confiscate her weapons again, Jill asked in disbelief.

Barry didn't speak. After collecting Shen Ye and Jill's guns, he stood to the side without a word.

Wesker glanced at Barry and said, "I'm always a considerate person, Barry, you can leave. I want to have a few words alone with Jill, and, well, this unexpected guest."

Barry nodded silently, hugged his guns, and walked out of the laboratory. Just as the door was about to close, he looked back at Jill.

As the laboratory door closed, Wesker looked at the shocked and angry Jill and the helpless Shen Ye, a rare smile appearing on his face.

"I never expected a foreigner to appear here. Perhaps I should properly confirm your identity." Wesker scrutinized Shen Ye: "Or perhaps, you are also interested in that thing, but I remember that the Umbrella Corporation once recommended products to Z Country, but they were rejected."

"I don't know what he's talking about." Shen Ye noticed Jill looking at him suspiciously after hearing Wesker's words, so he shrugged at her.

Wesker's lips curved slightly: "It doesn't matter if you don't admit it. The truth is no longer important."

"No, the truth is very important." Jill pushed aside her suspicion of Shen Ye and loudly retorted to Wesker: "Why are you doing this? Why did you attack Deputy Captain Enrico? You are the Commander of S.T.A.R.S. Why are you Umbrella's lackey?"

"Umbrella's lackey?" Wesker shook his head and said disdainfully, "You're wrong, Jill.
