Infinite wealth In A New World

Chapter 125: Let Her Go!!!!

"HEEEEEE!!!!"

The monstrous roar of the giant leader filled the air as it lunged forward, its speed increasing with every thunderous step.

"Stay back," Sunny commanded, his voice a low growl. He clenched his fists, the red and black lightning crackling and swirling around his hands, a maelstrom of raw power.

BOOOM!!

With a sonic boom that split the air, Sunny shot forward, a blur of motion. He reappeared instantly, floating in the air behind the twenty-meter-tall giant.

"...?!!"

The group were left speechless. The giant, which was still taking powerful strides forward, suddenly stumbled. It took a few more steps before its colossal body collapsed to the ground with a deafening thud. A perfectly round hole, as if carved by a precision laser, was visible on its forehead.

{Congratulations Master for killing a 20-meter-tall giant… Gained 7,000,000 EXP and 10 Evolution stones.}

{Total EXP: 56,880,700.}

'So the leaders give more evolution stones,' Sunny thought, a flicker of surprise in his glowing red eyes.

"The king?"

"He killed it with one attack?"

"The king is so powerful."

"Yes."

Alexandra, Mike, Mia, and Joseph murmured among themselves, their faces a mixture of awe and disbelief. They watched as the crimson werewolf descended from the air and landed gracefully on the ground.

"Dad!!"

Ellen sprinted towards him, unbothered by the blood that still stained his fur. She launched herself into his arms, hugging him tightly. To anyone who witnessed the scene—a small girl hugging an eight-foot-tall red werewolf—it would have been a horrifying sight. But here, in the midst of a battlefield, it was a moment of profound relief.

David looked around, his voice filled with concern. "Where is Uncle Vancouver?"

BOOOOOOOM!!!!

A figure smashed into the ground just behind Sunny, sending a cloud of dust and debris into the air.

"....?!!"

The group whirled around, only to see that it was Vancouver, his body covered in bruises and his clothes torn to shreds.

"What?"

Star rushed to his side and quickly checked for a pulse. A sigh of relief escaped her lips. "He's alive," she said.

Sunny's frown deepened as he looked up towards the forest's edge. A lone figure was walking towards them, an eerie calm surrounding it. It was a humanoid red cat with majestic dragon wings and claws even longer and sharper than Sunny's own.

"Is that?" David stammered, his eyes wide with shock.

{Warning!!}

{Warning!! System advises Master to escape! Master isn't strong enough to face this opponent.}

'What? Even with my transformation?' Sunny thought, his mind racing.

{Master isn't strong enough.}

{Race: ???.}

{Bloodline: ???.}

{Rank: Demi-God. Stage 10.}

{Strength: 400,000.}

{Agility: 300,000.}

{Stamina: 300,000.}

{Defense: 300,000.}

{Attack: 500,000.}

{Celestial energy: Unknown.}

{Magic resistance: Immune to all celestial energy users' attacks.}

'What kind of stats are these?! Who the hell is this?!!' Sunny thought, his internal alarm bells ringing.

"How fascinating." The newcomer stopped about thirty yards from the group, a cold, calculating look in its eyes.

"Who or what are you?" Sunny asked, his voice low and cautious.

"The question of my name is irrelevant, and what I am…? I am just a soul fragment," the cat-like creature replied, its voice a soft purr.

'A soul fragment? And he's this powerful? Then how powerful is the main body?' Sunny wondered, asking aloud:

"What do you want?!!"

"Now that is a good question. You all have two options…" The cat raised a hand and pointed a razor-sharp claw at Ellen.

"Hand the princess to me, and I will let you all keep your pathetic lives… That is your first option." It continued:

"Your second, don't hand her to me, and I will kill all of you and still take the princess with me."

".....?!"

Sunny was stunned by the audacity.

"You called her Princess! So you know who we are! What about we make a deal?!" Star yelled, desperate. She knew they couldn't defeat such an opponent; a deal seemed like the only way out.

"A deal?" The cat-like being thought for a moment before shaking its head.

"No… You can offer me nothing… Well, something." It turned its gaze to Ellen.

"Princess… Don't you want to know anything about your past? Come with me, and I promise to reveal everything to you."

Ellen instinctively hid behind Sunny, remaining silent.

"How sad," the cat said, a fake expression of sorrow on its face.

"Do you think you are one of them? These guys are just trash from a low world, but you are different… But you refused, so I have to take you by force." In a flash, it lunged forward.

"Run!!"

Sunny pushed Ellen towards Star and shot towards the cat-like being, ready for a direct confrontation.

"God wolf, right? Taking down my weakest soldiers doesn't make you a god!" The cat scoffed as it dodged Sunny's claws. It grabbed Sunny's wrist with incredible speed, rose him into the air with a single powerful movement, and then smashed him into the ground.

BAM!!

The ground cracked from the impact, sending shockwaves rippling out in all directions.

{Warning! Health has been reduced to 50%.}

"Stay down, God wolf." The cat turned its attention back to the rest of the group, only to see them running away.

"So meaningless."

It snapped its fingers, and the gravity instantly increased, forcing everyone to their knees. David, who was carrying Vancouver on his back, fell face down to the ground, the weight of the gravity and Vancouver's body crushing him.

The cat raised its hand, and an unknown force grabbed Ellen, lifting her into the air.

"You are coming with me, princess."

"Let her go!!"

The cat looked over its shoulder, seeing Sunny getting back up, blood streaming down his face.

"Still standing?" It sounded genuinely surprised.

"I say… Let her go!!!"

Sunny roared. In his right hand, All-changer, which was humming with power, appeared. A dagger materialized in his left hand, followed by a pair of boots on his feet.

"It seems you don't have the complete set yet… I admit, that sword can injure me, but the user can't bring out its full potential…" It said, turning to fully face Sunny.

"I say, let her gooo!!!"

Sunny shot forward, swinging All-changer directly at the cat's neck.

BOOOOM!

An unknown energy burst from the cat-like being, smashing into Sunny and throwing him back several meters.

BOOM!!

Sunny hit the ground hard, vomiting a mouthful of blood.

The cat walked towards him and placed its foot on Sunny's chest.

"You are brave! You have guts… No one has ever tried that before me… Well, none of them could kill my… What do you guys call them? Oh! Giants. So I never revealed myself…"

It increased the pressure on its leg, crushing Sunny's ribcage.

"This small injury can't kill you, I know that…" It said, removing its foot.

"No," Star groaned, utterly powerless under the crushing gravity.

"I like you guys, all of you! So I will give you a chance." The cat grinned, revealing its razor-sharp teeth.

"If you want to rescue her… You have until tomorrow noon… We will be waiting for you at the center of this zone. Just keep heading north." It began to walk away, the unconscious Ellen floating behind it.

"No!!" Sunny groaned, the pain unbearable.

"Remember my words, head north, we will be waiting… If you want to escape, head south, the gate will appear tomorrow noon… So you have to decide. Rescue your daughter, or escape this planet… Your time starts now."

The cat-like being and Ellen disappeared into the distance.

'I promise, I will kill you,' Sunny vowed inwardly, before losing consciousness.
