Chapter 1391: No point
When the next enemy approached, Rain suddenly made the ominous sword disappear, and thanks to that surprise, the enemy flinched for a second, and Rain had the chance to charge and punch the creature…
The solar dragon tried to block the punch with its claws but soon regretted it as the fire on its body began to lose power… soon the enemy saw Rain's arms covered in dark ice and him charging in while punching the enemy violently.
Rain's attacks pushed the enemies backward, and each impact made the monster tremble and the fire on its body decrease. Before long, the other solar dragons shot the fire meteors, but soon Rain turned around and blocked them with his punches.
They were surprised to see that the dark ice didn't melt even a bit… but they got more surprised when one of them was attacked from behind, and the ominous sword sliced up the neck of another one of them.

Level 40: Draconic Evasion - Hone reflexes and agility to evade dragon attacks and swiftly counterattack during openings. Increases dexterity against dragons by two hundred points per level.
Rain didn't even have time to celebrate such useful skill since the beast exploded upon death… this time, Rain suffered less damage since he protected himself with the dark ice on his arms.
Still, it looked like the enemies were fine with that… soon Rain confirmed the reason for that… their bodies were emitting more heat than before. Despite the fact that two of them had died already, the prison was the same as ever.
"Sons of a bitch…" Rain thought.
Every time one of them died, the surviving ones would get a bit stronger… which would be troublesome for the others. Until now, Rain didn't confirm anything about the doppelgangers on the other battlefields, so he had to hurry up.
"This is going to hurt more on me than on you all," Rain said.
The enemies felt the atmosphere changing, so they began to bombard Rain with the fire meteors, but he ignored that and ran straight through the projectiles. In the blink of an eye, he reached the enemies thanks to the technique Light Speed and then began to punch the first target.
Before any clear signs of the attacks could actually appear, the head of the dragon got swollen and then exploded, followed by the rest of the body. The other solar dragons thought that they would be able to power up with the explosion, but Rain reached them and punched them to death as well.

The threats were finished, so the solar prison began to dissipate, and so did Elisabetha's shadow… while she sounded refreshed, Rain looked quite beaten up. His body was only red at first but now had several burn marks.
"Even with the draconic skills… this is the result," Rain thought. "These guys were probably stronger than the lords, and since they had the advantage of the terrain…"
"Never mind that just put some bandaids on, and you will be fine," Elisabetha said. "Look at the facilities."
Rain turned around and then confirmed that everyone was doing a fine job destroying the facility. At least his group already managed to destroy all of the net that was used to absorb solar energy. It was falling apart like many pieces of a Lego.
"Didn't you find where the energy was being stored?" Rain asked.
"According to Sakaki, it seems that the whole facility is the core that is being used to store the energy," Seara explained. "So, we decided to attack everything but by starting with wanting to give the facility the energy in the first place."
That would explain a lot… in any case, Rain checked things in his pocket dimension, and there were hundreds of people there already. The others were having a hard time, but the leaders of the groups didn't want to retreat just yet… they were being overconfident because of the spectral weapons.
"Go all out, don't hold back," Rain said via Telepathy. "I will send you guys to help the others before they decide to retreat."
As Rain surveyed the scene before him, his mind raced with thoughts and calculations. Despite the victory over the solar dragons, he knew that their task was far from over. The destruction of the facility was progressing well, but it was necessary to maintain the momentum and ensure that no stone was left unturned.
One pressing concern weighed heavily on Rain's mind: the limited mana he had gained from defeating the solar dragons. While the victory had bolstered their efforts, it had not provided the substantial mana boost he had hoped for. Without a significant influx of mana, their ability to sustain the battle and continue pressing forward would be severely hampered.
Furthermore, as Rain observed, the sun itself seemed to be reacting to their actions. Explosions were taking place once again, signaling that their presence had not gone unnoticed by the forces at play. The implications of this were clear: time was of the essence, and they needed to act swiftly and decisively before their enemies could mount a counterattack.
Rain considered taking the new enemies that were approaching the same way, but soon he felt his arms throbbing… attacking with all his might using light speed had some side effects as well… that was why Rain said that he would feel the attacks more than the enemies would feel pain… they didn't feel it for long, after all.
"This is a good chance. Just bear it with the pain," Elisabetha said.
"You don't make a good point when you are this enraged," Rain said.
