"These are your rewards," said Necro as he placed 10 Branches over the 10 Shadow Tree Soldiers. "Three drops of Mid-Mortal |Power Essence| each, as well as…"

This, along with the 15 droplets of |Power Essence|, directly propelled the cultivation of the Shadow Tree Soldiers to unparalleled heights!

However, for the Shadow Tree Soldiers, they didn't have to progress through each of these steps one by one…

It was as if there were blueprints installed in them, and without the need for fumbling through the individual formation processes, they just placed the components of these blueprints in their respective spots. This led to an instantaneous string of accomplishments ending in an ultimate—and perfect—breakthrough into the Qi Condensation Realm.

Slight shock filtered through his expression as he realized that Super Speed and Super Strength were passives and the equivalent of special physiques in this world. They broadly improved all their physical attributes, making them over a dozen times more powerful than before.

And that wasn't even the full extent of the overpowered Skills the Shadows acquired, as |Duplicate| made it possible for any single one of them to split into two. Best of all, this ability to split into two could either be activated with both halves possessing 100% strength for a short period of time—or each half could possess 50% strength and be left activated indefinitely.

Too Overpowered!

In comparison, |True Fear| was far less impressive, as it was more just an intimidation Skill. But even with that being the case, it was very, very good at what it did and could even terrify to death those in the same realm as the user.

"Intent Talent," Necro murmured. "Depending on the affinity of the Shadow Tree Soldier, a single or several Intents can be cultivated. These Intents range anywhere from weapon Intents—like Sword Intent—to elemental Intents like Fire Intent…"

In the Ancient Desolate Continent, those with stellar talent would sometimes be born with the affinity to cultivate Intents. And seeing as how Intents were derived from the Laws used by Immortals in the Heavenly Deity and Supreme Deity Realms, those who had talent for Intents had far higher chances of breaking past the Golden Core Realm in the future.

In other words… Every single one of Necro's Shadow Tree Soldiers had a very high chance of ascending to Immortality!

"The only unfortunate thing is that it says the Intent Talents can't be forcefully uncovered and they must discover for themselves what they are and how to cultivate them, but this is but a minor inconvenience in the bigger picture," said Necro. "Still, to think they'd obtain something like this the moment they broke through to the Qi Condensation Realm."

He was already jealous that his Shadows could cultivate and he couldn't, but now that they acquired this opportunity, his envy multiplied…

He waved them off.

"Go," he said. "Whoever emits fighting intent, put them in their place. And Lazy, take Lang Qingyue with you. Bring her to the Leaders of both the Greenflame and Hundred-eyed Sects."

Lang Qingyue had been quietly observing in the background. But the moment her Big Brother mentioned the Sects responsible for her family's death and the destruction of her home, a storm of fury erupted within her. Her hands trembled, and her breath grew ragged with rage.

Necro's invitation offered a momentary balm, softening the edge of her wrath—but only slightly.

Even without the Shamans' aid, she swore to herself: the so-called 'Righteous' Sects would face her blade the very first chance she got!!

Necro noted this occurrence.
