In Naruto Trying to become a Saiyan from Kumogakure

Chapter 22: Ch 22. CounterMeasure x CounterAttack x ShiftingBlame

Dodai felt a deep sense of gratitude for the Uzumaki Clan leader's trust in entrusting their legacy to Kumogakure. More importantly, he recognized the strength in Kyo's resolve, which reminded him of a pivotal meeting back in the village where the Raikage shared some of Ron's innovative ideas regarding countermeasures.

During that meeting, Dodai and the others fully supported the proposed strategy. The Land of Lightning, naturally fortified by its geography, was accessible only by sea, except for a narrow connection to the Land of Snow at the southernmost tip.

The higher-ups had decided on a cautious approach following this operation. Moving forward, Kumogakure would operate covertly outside its borders, limiting missions to internal affairs.

Even in times of war, the village would undertake carefully planned operations designed to conceal its internal activities, effectively closing off its borders to outside scrutiny.

To justify their covert actions and bolster security, Kumogakure needed strong excuses and plausible reasons. With the village functioning as an impenetrable fortress devoid of spies, the operation could be carried out effectively with a plan crafted by high-ranking officials and executed with the assistance of the ANBU.

Dodai's thoughts drifted to something Ron had once said: "With the right combination of technology and sealing techniques, I can create systems to manage people efficiently assign IDs, implement sealing marks, and even ensure they're not under genjutsu or illusions."

Ron's primary motivation stemmed from his desire to counter threats like White Zetsu. It was an essential precaution, but identifying and eliminating White Zetsu posed a challenge that required a broader justification.

After all, Uchiha Madara an individual more powerful than his father and potentially at the pinnacle of the "Super-Shadow" level or stronger, was still alive and a lingering threat. It could be done only if Kumogakure was closed and acted like they were purging spies to conserve their weakened strength.

Dodai recalled the steps they needed to take and addressed Kyo with determination. "Kyo-dono, are you and the remaining ninjas prepared to defend the honor of the Uzumaki Clan? If so, I have an idea. Would you care to hear it?"

Kyo's curiosity was piqued. He and the remaining ninjas harbored no fear of death, and for those who chose not to leave with Kumogakure or ignored the clan's arrangements, their fate would be their own.

Without hesitation, Kyo nodded. "I'm listening. Please share your plan."

Dodai nodded and continued, "Originally, without our intervention, Kyo-dono, you might have held onto the hope of Konoha's rescue and taken a purely defensive stance. But now, with Kumogakure's involvement, that's no longer necessary. Instead, we should use this opportunity to deliver a harsh lesson to the invaders."

He paused, his gaze steady. "Kumogakure aims to remain in the shadows, avoiding direct attention from the other hidden villages. If the Uzumaki Clan delivers a devastating blow to the incoming forces under the guise of Konoha's involvement, it will not only force them into recovery but also direct their hatred toward Konoha in the next war, not paying attention to us."

Dodai's voice lowered, carrying a note of vengeance. "It would also serve as a fitting act of retribution for your Senju allies. What do you say? If we proceed with this plan, Uzumaki Village will be utterly destroyed by the end of the battle."

Kyo nodded in agreement and said, "There is no point in leaving behind an empty village with no people. Please share your plan."

Dodai acknowledged the response with a slight bow, then performed a sequence of seals to summon a large scroll. Afterward, he prepared a letter addressed to the Raikage detailing the plan and summoned Kumogakure's specialized hawk, attaching both the ninjutsu scroll and the letter to it.

This is one of the new ideas for information currently being implemented in Kumogakure with Ron's suggestion, which involves assigning ninjas that will act like mailmen, after a summoning beast is summoned, ninjas in the Kumogakure base will summon them back in 5 min.

Every important place will have pre-assigned summoning beasts summoned between this headquarters and that place, every thirty minutes, so this letter after being received in Kumogakure will be sent to the Konoha border to the army, within 30 minutes, easing communication, as to the hawk flying to the place, which might take hours or days, and can't even carry many things with just flight, this solves the dilemma of communication and object transfer, for small ninjas tools, like scrolls compatible to chakra like living things it is an easy thing.

Dodai spoke with a determined tone, "This scroll contains thousands of detonating charms, prepared for the next war and recently acquired by our village. Along with the letter I sent, this plan will serve as our contribution. The idea is straightforward; both the ninjas stationed on the border and the Uzumaki Clan will deliver a decisive blow through a large-scale explosion."

He continued, "Within the Uzumaki Village, you can bury and hide these detonating charms using sealing techniques. After a fierce struggle, once Ryo-dono has made the ultimate sacrifice, you can activate all of them simultaneously, ensuring the entire village is engulfed in destruction. However, to execute this effectively, you must make it appear as though Konoha orchestrated and aided this plan."

Dodai's expression grew sharper as he outlined the second part of the strategy. "At the border, our Kumogakure forces will stage a similar event. We will simulate our base being destroyed after a fierce battle with Konoha forces. In doing so, we will retreat covertly while publicly condemning Konoha, creating the illusion that we have been severely weakened and are incapable of participating in the next war. Most importantly it will give us an excuse for not being able to come to this operation, being blocked by Konoha"

Kyo's gaze hardened, a fierce resolve glinting in his eyes. "If this is what it takes to ensure the survival of our legacy, then so be it. I will bury our forces and ensure their sacrifices are not in vain. I will make certain that the hatred of these invaders is directed squarely at Konoha."

He clenched his fists as he looked at the remaining Uzumaki ninjas. "We will fight with honor, and our final stand will echo throughout history. Let the world believe that Konoha orchestrated this. If they must be the scapegoat for the survival of our future generations, then so be it."

Dodai nodded, admiration flickering in his expression. "Kyo-dono, your resolve and dedication to your people will not be forgotten. Kumogakure will do its part to ensure your sacrifices bear fruit. The Uzumaki Clan's legacy will live on."

Dodai gave him one last look, acknowledging the gravity of the decision. With a deep breath, he turned to leave, knowing there was no more time to waste. His team had already set out, moving swiftly ahead to prepare for the next phase of their mission, evacuation.
