Chapter 4
The girl with crimson-colored eyes introduced herself as Kurenai Yuhi and explained why she was at Kuro house.
She did not explain why she want into the house when no one answered the door. Kuro wanted to ask but his instinct tells him not to. He trust his instinct.
For the next few minutes, Kuro explained why he couldn't attend the opening ceremony of the Academy. Naturally, he left out the details of his little adventure from the previous night. After learning that the village was in turmoil following the Anbu's discovery of three dead Sand Shinobi, Kuro decided it was best not to mention that he had ventured out of the Nara clan compound.
Meeting Kurenai also helped Kuro better understand the timeline he was in—likely before the Second Shinobi War.
After Kurenai had finished her business, she left without a word, never looking back as if she never wanted to see him again.
Kuro also noticed the odd way the nurse was looking at him. It didn't escape his attention when she blushed after Kurenai mentioned his "third leg." A shiver ran down Kuro's spine just thinking about it.
He swore to do whatever it took to avoid another visit to the hospital anytime soon.
Once the nurse finally left, Kuro's gaze fell upon the screen that had been at the corner of his vision since he woke up.

Kuro nodded his head, the screen looked identical to when Sung Jin-woo first saw it.
'It's the same screen. Does it take the same commands, too?'
"Open," Kuro muttered.
Tti-ring!
As soon as Kuro said the word 'open', a clear beep entered his head and a new screen popped up.

Kuro smiled seeing the familiar screen.
'Finally!'
To further confirm whether the system was truly the same, Kuro focused his thoughts on the first message and mentally commanded, "Read."

'It's the same!' Kuro wanted to shout, but he managed to restrain himself at the last moment.
Kuro glanced at the second message.

'Exactly the same daily quest too. Fortunately, I've been doing these exercises for a year, so this should be easy,' Kuro thought with a chuckle.
He had no intention of facing the punishment. After all, the centipedes were as disgusting as roaches—he'd rather be punched in the face again than deal with that.
Glancing around to ensure no one was watching, Kuro slipped out of the hospital bed and began the exercises, skipping the 10-kilometer run for now. He started with push-ups, followed by sit-ups, then squats.
"One, two, three….."
The count started from 'one' and quickly climbed upwards.
"…..97, 98, 99, 100."
After completing the exercises, Kuro looks back at the quest screen.

'Now, all the left is running.'
Kuro stood and headed for the door. It seemed Kurenai had either dressed him or had someone from the Nara Clan do it before bringing him to the hospital.
At the front desk, he told the nurse he was heading home. She nodded and marked his name off.
'Since I would be heading back, I might as well complete the 10 kilometer run.'
Once Kuro was out of the hospital, he started running.
25 Minutes Later
"Pant, pant, pant, pant…"
Kuro arrived at the Nara Clan gate, panting heavily. As he caught his breath, a beep sounded in his head.
Tti-ring.

Exhausted, Kuro made his way home and collapsed onto the couch. It had been a long day, and he still had classes at the ninja academy tomorrow. After a moment to catch his breath, he opened his daily quest.

Right afterward, a gentle blue aura enveloped Kuro.
"Ah, so refreshing… and the pain's gone, especially that toothache. Those punches that Kurenai threw carry quite the 'punch'." Kuro laughs at his own pun. "At least the punch didn't come from Tsunade or Kushina. Or else, today would have been my funeral."
"Status," Kuro muttered as his thoughts settled.

"Got to give credit to the Nara Clan—they're incredibly smart. Maybe having two souls fused together is what boosted my intellect."
Kuro was about to check his skills when his eyes landed on his title.
"PERVERT?! WHO'S A PERVERT?! I AM A MAN OF CULTURE!" he shouted loudly, his voice echoing through the empty house, though no one was around to hear him.
