In Another World With Omnitrix

Chapter 6: Chapter 6: Another dungeon

After he had finished reading the history book his phone also got some battery charge so he started checking the internet for some more information about the guild and about how to register in it.

As he read deeper, he learned about the Global Hunter Network, a unified system that tracked and registered all hunters and dungeon activity.

Out of curiosity, he typed in his own name to check if it was registered or not if no then he would have to register.

[Global Hunter Network: Hunter Profile]

Name: Riven Kade

Hunter ID: #C003716

Rank: C

Class: Unclassified (Artifact User)

Guild: None

Cleared Dungeons: 1

Dungeon Name: Volcanic Rift (D-Rank)

Status: Confirmed Solo Clearance

Riven blinked at the screen. "C-Rank? I'm already registered?"

His thumb hovered over a blinking icon beside his dungeon entry. A pop-up explained:

Note: All dungeons are imbued with traceable ancient tech. Upon a dungeon's full clearance, the clearing individual's energy signature is automatically transmitted to the Global Hunter Network, resulting in immediate registration if not previously listed.

So, his victory in the volcanic lab hadn't gone unnoticed—at least, not by the world's dungeon monitoring systems.

He did didn't even know how he got inside the dungeon he had no memories of his registration as a hunter and it was his first dungeon and here his presence here had been logged automatically.

"Artifact User, huh? Well, that was one way to describe the Omnitrix."

Thankfully, the watch wasn't listed by name. Whatever classified systems governed this network, they hadn't recognized what it really was. It was a relief—Riven wasn't ready for the world to know what he had. Not yet,not until he had atleast some more Alien to protect himself.

But one thing was certain: he wasn't invisible anymore.

The world thought he was just another awakened hunter who'd cleared a dungeon solo. Impressive, but not unique. His rank—C—was based on the danger level of the dungeon he'd cleared, not on the power he actually wielded.

He didn't mind. That kind of misunderstanding might work to his advantage.

He stood in silence for a while, processing everything. This world had no version of his past life. No family to come looking for him. No friends to ask where he'd been. As far as Earth-1 was concerned, he was a new face.

Alone again.

Just like always.

Riven looked at the Omnitrix, the green dial pulsing faintly. He didn't need anyone. He'd figure things out, just like he always did.

A low growl echoed from his stomach reminding him that he hasn't eaten for days "...Guess that's my cue."

The city outside was busier than he expected. Guild banners fluttered from government buildings. Giant screens advertised dungeon raid broadcasts. Holographic interfaces dotted intersections, letting citizens check live dungeon activity, Hunter rankings, and Guild scores like fantasy sports.

He wandered through the crowded sidewalks toward the nearest commercial district. He goes inside of the hotel that serves food and he order some food to eat. After he had finished eating he goes out to see the city if it has some similarity as his previous world.

As he walks he passed a massive mall with five floors, brightly lit and buzzing with energy. The main screen by the entrance scrolled through local news:

NEW GUILD RECRUITMENT EVENT THIS WEEKEND – AWAKENED ONLY.

STRANGE ENERGY SPIKES DETECTED NEAR THE OBSIDIAN COAST – GUILD INVESTIGATION UNDERWAY.

S-Rank Artifacts to Be Showcased at National Guild Summit.

Riven raised an eyebrow 'So they are really not hiding about the Artifacts and are part of public knowledge here?'

Before he could think more, the Omnitrix emitted a faint beep.

Danger.

The lights flickered. The temperature dropped.

An emergency alarm screamed to life through the mall's speakers.

DUNGEON BREAK DETECTED.

TYPE: C-RANK (UNSTABLE).

IMPACT ZONE: WARD 9 COMMERCIAL MALL.

EVACUATION PROTOCOL INITIATED.

PORTAL LOCK DETECTED – TRAP CONDITION ACTIVE.

A shockwave rippled through the mall, tossing shoppers off their feet. Screams erupted as a swirling rift of purple-black energy tore open in the middle of the food court. Armed security officers began shouting evacuation orders, but it was too late.

The dungeon's pull activated—like a black hole made of static and force.

One by one, panicked civilians were drawn into the vortex. Riven instinctively reached for the Omnitrix. The glow brightened—but before he could activate it, the pull caught him.

He clenched his jaw, trying to resist, but the space around him shattered like glass. The world spun, twisted, warped.

Then, silence.

Another dungeon.

No time to prepare.

No backup.

Just Riven, the Omnitrix, and whatever waited for him inside.

Note: I forgot to mention that civilians who are Non-Awaken can't go inside the dungeon but at the same time they can't go out they stay in an unconscious state if they are in the range of the dungeon until the dungeon is clear they can't wake up.

End of chapter.
