I’m the Owner of the Pokémon Day Care In the World of Pokémon

Chapter 1314: Nana, hit it!

With the help of the firelight, the four of them—Joyha and the others—saw Yuga and Joyan emerging from the pitch-black night, accompanied by Serperior and Yanmega, and immediately stood up excitedly.

Joyha darted over to Joyan, hugging her arm tightly and exclaiming, "Sister Joyan, Captain, you're finally back! We were so worried!"

Joyin also stepped forward and added, "That's right, coming back this late… Did you go to the Nido family's territory? Was there any progress?"

Yuga replied with a smile, "Let's talk about it after we eat. I'm starving."

Traveling through the jungle had been incredibly exhausting, leaving Yuga feeling famished, and Joyan wasn't faring much better.

Hearing this, Joyha suddenly realized his own hunger and quickly said, "You're right! Let's go eat first and talk while we eat!"

The six of them headed to Joyin's room, where they lit another fire, set up a pot, and cooked a big pot of noodles.

As Yuga and Joyan ate, they recounted their experiences from the day and shared the plans they had discussed with the Nido family.

Joyha and the others were surprised that Yuga and Joyan had accomplished so much in just one day. However, they didn't voice any objections; instead, they found Yuga's decision to be very wise.

If they could indeed help the Nido family eliminate their major enemy, they would earn the Nido family's favor and gain a more advantageous position in any future dealings.

As for whether the plan would succeed, the other four had no doubts. Since their tribe had instructed them to follow Yuga's command unconditionally, they naturally placed their trust in him.

Of course, except for Joyan, the other four had never encountered Aerodactyl in person and only had Joyan's descriptions to rely on. They couldn't fully grasp just how powerful Aerodactyl was.

They only knew that Yuga and Nana were strong and figured that dealing with an Aerodactyl shouldn't be too difficult.

After finishing their meal, the six of them returned to their rooms to rest.

The next morning, they quickly had a simple breakfast and began packing their belongings to head toward the Nido family's territory.

By around noon, Yuga and the others successfully arrived at the Nido family's territory, where they were warmly welcomed by the Nido family.

The leadership of the Nido family had already learned from Nidoqueen and Nidoking that Yuga's group planned to help them eliminate Aerodactyl. As a result, their attitude toward Yuga's group had undergone a complete turnaround, and they even overlooked the fact that Nana had injured Nidoqueen the day before.

For Joyha, Joyin, Jonah, and Ajay, it was their first time visiting the Nido family's territory. They were astonished by the tribe's warmth and couldn't help but wonder: Are all the Pokémon on this island so hospitable?

The Nido family had even arranged accommodations for Yuga and the others. With so many caves in their territory, it was easy to find a few for them to stay in, sparing Yuga and his group the trouble of building shelters.

Once they had settled in, the six of them went to meet Nidoqueen and explained that before the big battle began, they wanted to prepare a batch of Max Revive as a precaution.

In a large-scale battle, injuries and casualties were inevitable. Although both Yuga and Joyin had Pokémon with healing abilities, they wouldn't be able to attend to everyone. Therefore, having a supply of Max Revive on hand was essential.

Nidoqueen agreed without hesitation. Although the lower-level members of the Nido family could consume Revival Herbs directly after being injured, Nidoqueen didn't want the high-ranking members to experience any level drops.

The combat strength of the high-ranking members was the key to the tribe's survival on Resurrection Island.

With Nidoqueen's permission, Yuga and the others, led by Nidoking, gathered enough Revival Herbs.

Nidoking kept a close eye on them, allowing only the collection of the most basic three-leaf Revival Herbs, while forbidding them from even looking at the more advanced five-leaf and seven-leaf ones.

For Joyha and the others, it was their first time seeing such a vast quantity of Revival Herbs. Their jaws nearly dropped in astonishment. These treasures, incredibly rare and valuable in the outside world, were growing here across the mountains like common grass.

Although they had heard beforehand that the Nido family possessed many Revival Herbs, seeing it with their own eyes truly made them grasp just how "many" there really were.

With such abundant resources, it was no wonder the Nido family and Kangaskhan family were so powerful. It also explained why the Aerodactyl went to such great lengths to seize this territory.

The entire afternoon was spent making Max Revie.

Of course, the main force behind this task was Joyin.

Joyin was not only a skilled Pokémon doctor but also an excellent pharmacist. Carefully selected by the Joy family to join the team, her professional abilities were impeccable.

The other five, being Trainers, were not skilled in pharmaceutical work. Their roles were primarily to assist Joyin with tasks like cleaning and grinding medicinal materials.

The tools and equipment needed for making Max Revie, as well as auxiliary ingredients beyond the Revival Herbs, had all been prepared in advance by the Joy family.

Some auxiliary ingredients could be sourced on the island, while others were not available at all on Resurrection Island. The Joy family ensured that every necessary material was prepared beforehand.

In truth, aside from the Revival Herbs, most of the materials needed for Max Revive were quite ordinary. As such, the Joy family had prepared them in large quantities.

The next day, with everything ready, Yuga and the team planned to act.

According to Nidoqueen, four major family had allied themselves with Aerodactyl: the Rhydon family to the north of the Nido territory, the Victreebel family to the northeast, the Primeape family to the east, and the Ursaring family to the south.

Other smaller family, with fewer members and weaker strength, were negligible.

In addition, they also had to guard against Aerodactyl's other major subordinate, a Tyranitar. This was a Champion-level Pokémon, just shy of reaching Master level, and had caused the Nido family significant trouble in the past.

Interestingly, this Tyranitar was native to Resurrection Island, unlike Aerodactyl, who arrived later.

Previously, Tyranitar and the Nido family had coexisted peacefully. However, since siding with Aerodactyl, it had assisted in attacking the Nido territory no fewer than ten times.

Had it not been for the Max Revive left behind by Yuga and the others in the past, the Nido family might not have withstood simultaneous assaults by Aerodactyl and Tyranitar.

Yuga laid out a plan for the attack.

Jonah, along with the Champion-level Nidoking, would lead a group of Nidos to attack the Victreebel family.

Joyha, together with a Champion-level Kangaskhan, would lead a group of Kangaskhan to attack the Rhydon family.

Ajay, accompanied by a Champion-level Kangaskhan daughter, would lead another Kangaskhan group to attack the Primeape family.

Joyyun, alongside Yuga's Charizard, would lead a Nido team to confront the Ursaring family.

The roles of Jonah, Joyha, Ajay, and Joyyun were primarily to command the battles, not to serve as the main fighting force. In terms of combat power, they couldn't compare to the Champion-level Nidoking, Kangaskhan, or Charizard. Instead, their value lay in their strategic thinking.

Wild Pokémon often lacked the tactical awareness needed for battles. Human guidance during a fight could lead to surprising results.

The four Joy family elites, though young, were top-tier Trainers and more than capable of directing battles.

Joyin, being a doctor, lacked combat ability and was thus left to guard the base. To prevent the base from being raided, Yuga left his Chimecho and Lapras with her for protection.

When other battlefields had injured Pokémon returning to the territory, Joyka was able to treat them promptly.

Yuga, Nana, and Nidoqueen naturally set out to deal with Aerodactyl.

As for Tyranitar, Yuga entrusted it to Aegislash.

With Aegislash's strength, it was unfazed even by a true Master-level opponent, let alone a pseudo-Master level Tyranitar.

Once the teams were assembled, Yuga, acting as the overall commander, stood atop a high vantage point and shouted.

"Today, we will finally put an end to the root cause of your long-standing troubles. Are you ready?"

Under Joyha and the others' organization, the troops of Nidoqueen's and Kangaskhan's family were neatly aligned, resembling a proper military force.

"Nidoqueen~!"

"Kangaskhan~!"

The soldiers of the Nido and Kangaskhan family roared loudly, their morale surging in an instant.

"In that case, let's set off! I wish you all victory!"

"Nidoqueen~!"

"~!"

Following this, under the leadership of Joyha and the others, the four squads set out in four directions.

The reason Yuga decided to simultaneously attack all four family was to prevent them from assisting Aerodactyl during the assault.

Once the four teams disappeared from view, Yuga turned to Nidoqueen beside him and said, "Let's move out as well."

Aerodactyl's current residence was relatively close to the Nido family's territory, allowing Yuga and Nidoqueen to potentially arrive earlier than the other teams.

Tyranitar's dwelling was adjacent to Aerodactyl's, so Yuga and Aegislash parted ways when they were nearing their destination.

To ensure Aegislash didn't lose its way, Nidoqueen specifically assigned a Nidorina to guide it.

Aerodactyl resided in a small canyon. Although the canyon wasn't vast, it was very deep. At its bottom was a river with a cave perched on a steep cliffside. Reaching this cave was exceedingly difficult for any non-flying Pokémon.

Leading Yuga to the canyon's edge, directly above the cave, Nidoqueen raised its foot and stomped down forcefully. The ground began to shake violently.

The move it used was Earthquake.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Nidoqueen stomped four times in succession. Even though Yuga couldn't see the cave from his position, he could easily deduce it had collapsed.

Being a powerful Level 100 Pokémon, Nidoqueen could have easily destroyed the entire canyon if it wanted to, let alone a single cave.

Yuga hadn't expected Nidoqueen to go this far and couldn't help but give it a thumbs-up. Confused by this gesture, Nidoqueen mimicked him, giving a thumbs-up of its own.

Aerodactyl had been napping at home when it suddenly felt the ground trembling beneath it. With a deafening rumble, rocks began falling, burying it entirely.

"Aerodactyl~!"

Enraged and bewildered, Aerodactyl burst through the rubble that had sealed the cave entrance and soared out of the canyon. The moment it emerged, it spotted Yuga and Nidoqueen standing on the canyon's edge.

That human!

The first thing Aerodactyl noticed wasn't Nidoqueen—it was Yuga.

Aerodactyl would never forget Yuga's face, even in death. It was this human—if not for him, Nidoqueen would have already died at its hands.

Because of this human, Aerodactyl had even been injured by a strange Dragonite, forcing it to flee back here in disgrace.

"Aerodactyl~!"

Enraged, Aerodactyl's entire body was surrounded by countless rotating air currents, which then transformed into a rocket-like charge aimed straight at Yuga. It was using the powerful Normal-type move, Giga Impact.

How could Nidoqueen possibly allow Aerodactyl to harm her trusted ally? With a massive stride, she stepped in front of Yuga, planting her feet firmly apart.

"Nidoqueen!"

With a resounding roar, Nidoqueen channeled all her strength into her arms and successfully used the move Superpower to block Aerodactyl's attack.

Boom!

The collision of the two Pokémon generated an immense shockwave that sent Yuga flying. He tumbled across the grassy field several times before finally coming to a stop.

Under the enormous force of Aerodactyl's charge, Nidoqueen was forced backward continuously. Her massive claws gripped the ground tightly, tearing up chunks of grass and leaving behind two deep furrows exposing the bare earth.

At that moment, a sudden energy fluctuation appeared directly above Aerodactyl. Without any warning, Nana materialized there. Surging electric currents gathered around her body, coalescing into a massive thunderbolt that struck Aerodactyl squarely on the back.

"Aerodactyl~!"

Aerodactyl let out a miserable cry as the thick bolt of lightning slammed it from the air to the ground, leaving a huge crater in its wake.

The area, already weakened by Nidoqueen's earlier three Earthquakes, could no longer hold. With Aerodactyl's impact, cracks began spreading rapidly, and the entire eastern bank of the canyon started to collapse. Aerodactyl, along with soil and rubble, began falling toward the canyon floor.

Nidoqueen was quick to act. Sensing something was wrong, she turned tail and sprinted away, putting a safe distance between herself and the collapsing area in the blink of an eye.

As for Yuga, he had already moved far away from the battlefield, and the collapse did not reach him.

Halfway through its fall, Aerodactyl flapped its wings and took to the skies again, quickly soaring high above. From its elevated position, it glared down at Yuga, Nidoqueen, and Nana.

Its gaze toward Yuga was filled with particular hatred. Being a clever Pokémon, Aerodactyl immediately deduced that this sudden appearance of a powerful Gardevoir had to be brought here by that human.

If not for this Gardevoir's intervention, how would Nidoqueen have dared to take the initiative to attack it? The more Aerodactyl thought about it, the angrier it became. It was filled with such hatred for Yuga that it wished it could swallow him whole.

Noticing the predatory look in Aerodactyl's eyes, Yuga pretended to "tremble with fear" and ducked behind a large tree.

I'm so rerrified! Nana, hurry up and help me fight it!

Seeing Yuga's actions, Nana teleported instantly, appearing directly in front of Aerodactyl and blocking its view. At the same time, countless bolts of lightning gathered around her once more, forming a massive thunderbolt that she unleashed toward Aerodactyl.
