Chapter 107: Stop! That's Not a Yo-yo at All!

"Mmm, it feels a bit strange without sunlight, but everyone's spirits are pretty high~!"

Stepping out of the hotel doors, March 7th curiously observed everything around her, adding a splash of vibrant pink to the dim underground world. People came and went on the streets of Boulder Town, and vendors hawked various goods.

"Did Dan Heng go to help Wildfire sort supplies?" Caelus asked, checking a message in the Trailblazer team's group chat before putting his phone back in his pocket.

"That's right. I was going to wait for you guys to go together, but who knew you'd sleep in so late," March 7th said, tilting her little head up.

"You were just as lazy as us," Stelle chimed in, letting out a yawn of immense purity.

Walking behind the group, Bronya's face flushed slightly. Having learned so much, she couldn't sleep last night. Seele had stayed up late talking with her, and the two had only fallen asleep side-by-side in the late hours. This was the first time she had slept in this late since becoming the commander of the Silvermane Guards.

"Hey, hey, hey, you just woke up. How come you have less energy than the people of the Underworld?" March 7th poked Stelle's cheek with a finger.

"Well, I'm just a baby who's only a month old, after all."

Stelle rubbed her sleepy eyes. "March, a baby my age needs to get 16 to 18 hours of sleep every day." She hadn't slept well last night. Caelus's body had been pressing on her hair, and when she turned over, she woke them both up. Also, at the beginning, she wanted to put her leg on Caelus's leg, but he would kick it off every time and put his leg on hers instead. They had fought back and forth like that for a long time.

"What kind of one-month-old baby grows to be 1.75 meters tall?" March 7th gave Stelle, who was a head taller than her, a sharp look.

After casting a disdainful glance at the shameless, baby-acting Stelle, March 7th huffed and laughed. "Today, the great snow country trailblazing adventure turns a new page! We are about to begin our great adventure in the underworld!"

"Mhm, our goal is—" March 7th raised her hand with great enthusiasm.

"To rummage through all the trash cans in the Underworld! And open all the treasure chests!" Caelus followed March's lead with a bold declaration. It was a pity they hadn't finished searching all the trash can treasure chests in the Overworld yet. Still, Caelus's crystal count had once again broken four digits.

System BUG compensation: 360 crystals. The mask monthly pass over the last dozen days: 390 crystals. Sampo's treasure chest and Natasha's black stocking treasure chest, split with Stelle: 68 crystals. Bronya's, Serval's, and Pela's black stocking treasure chests, which Caelus kept for himself: 102 crystals. Trash can treasure chests and other chests in the Overworld: 101 crystals. After subtracting the cost of the Lick-Lick Fruit, Caelus currently had a total of 1002 crystals.

"Ohh! Rummaging through trash cans! Opening treasure chests!"

Hearing the keywords, Stelle instantly snapped out of her drowsy state. The power of the Devil Fruit was just too much fun! And...

"Caelus, my boy, want to buy another Lick-Lick Fruit?"

Stelle slung an arm around Caelus's shoulder, pushed the shop interface in front of his face, and gave him a wicked grin.

Seeing that wicked smile, how could Caelus not know what she was thinking? You want me to turn into a candy person for you to lick? You must be daydreaming! Hmm... wait a minute!

"I can consider it."

With that, Caelus locked the Lick-Lick Fruit in Stelle's system shop, preventing it from being refreshed away. He had a bold idea.

"Really?"

Stelle's face was full of surprise. Is Caelus actually being a decent person?

"Mhm, we'll see," Caelus said vaguely.

He and Big Bronya had a lot of fun, having tried every part of the body except for those cherry-red lips. After all, it was his consciousness controlling Big Bronya, and that was one of the few scraps of decency Caelus had left. But if he turned into a candy person, eating him should be about the same as licking a lollipop, right? In that case, if Stelle wanted to lick... it wasn't out of the question.

Devil Fruits were simply the best! The way those fruit users in the world of pirates developed their abilities was completely off the mark!

"Huh? You can't be serious."

March 7th was completely baffled by the two gray-hairs. What kind of adventure involved rummaging through trash cans? However, the crystals...

"If you find those... crystals, can you turn into candy people again?"

Although she still couldn't fully believe in the existence of the crystals, March 7th could now follow Stelle and Caelus's logic. She wanted them to create a candy castle for her to take pictures with... but alas, they had been busy making energy candy before.

"That's right!" Stelle tilted her head up a little higher, looking smug.

Caelus's eyes curved slightly. A figure draped in black feathers with a pink interior flashed past from above the Goethe Grand Hotel. The energy candy produced by him and Stelle working on a continuous assembly line, plus the supplies recovered from Rivet Town, would be enough for the Underworld for a while.

As for later... it was unrealistic to expect Caelus to spend most of his crystals helping them make supplies, but he would see his good deed through to the end. When buying the seeds for crops that could grow in extreme temperatures, Caelus had also bought a type of mushroom that grew and reproduced quickly in dark environments like underground caves, was nutritious, and tasted delicious. The patent owner was, without a doubt, the little pink-haired rich girl. However, she wasn't the sole owner, so she could only grant the right to use it, not give it away.

He'd have Raven return to the Overworld through Sampo's secret passage to get the mushrooms, and while she was at it, help Silverwing deal with some nobles who didn't know their place.

"Emmmm..."

Seeing Stelle nod, a thoughtful look appeared in March 7th's pink-and-blue eyes. After a long moment, she bit her lip. "Alright then."

For the candy castle.

"I'll go with you."

Although she didn't want to follow them around digging through trash, considering that they wouldn't just be digging through trash and would likely do something crazy to get crystals, March 7th felt she had to keep an eye on them.

The trio's conversation left Bronya completely bewildered. Huh? No! Are they really going to go through trash cans?

"I-I'll pass." Rummaging through trash... spare her. "I'll go help out Wildfire."

Since she had taken off her Silvermane Guard uniform, no one in the Underworld except Seele, Natasha, and Oleg knew Bronya's true identity, so no one was hostile toward her. Bronya wanted to do something for the people of the Underworld.

"Seele, what about you?" Bronya turned her head to look at Seele, who was nibbling on a lollipop.

"I'll go with Big Sister Bronya."

The two pairs split up. After Bronya and Seele left, Stelle and Caelus looked at each other, and in the next second, two clouds of dust kicked up on the street.

"Charge!"

With their hands held straight and their thighs raised high, they ran in the standard JoJo pose from the famous "Nigerundayo" scene.

"Hey, wait for me!"

March 7th grabbed the golden ribbons on Stelle and Caelus's coats, feeling like she was holding onto two huskies charging at their food.

The story of the Supreme Guardian's assassination, coupled with the supplies sent to the town, had made many residents of Boulder Town view the outsiders as 'heroes.' However, that glorious image didn't even last two days before cracks began to appear. Many people who eagerly wanted to greet the two saw Stelle and Caelus excitedly digging through trash cans, and their raised hands froze in mid-air.

Stelle and Caelus paid no mind to the ghost-seeing looks from the passersby. In their eyes, there were only crystals.

Crystals +3 +5 +4

The number of crystals in the Underworld's trash can treasure chests was higher than in the Overworld, but the overall number of trash cans was smaller. After looting all the treasure chests in Boulder Town, they headed for the surrounding towns.

"Is there no pattern to the placement of these trash cans? Running through every street is a bit inefficient... hmm, I've got it."

Stroking his chin in thought for a few seconds, Caelus took out the curio yo-yo. March 7th and Stelle both turned their heads to look at his actions.

They saw Caelus flick the yo-yo downward. The sphere spun along the fluorescent blue string, rolled onto the ground, and emitted a faint blue glow. Caelus tapped the ground with his toe and leaped lightly, landing on the spinning yo-yo in a posture reminiscent of the deity Nezha, much to Stelle and March 7th's astonishment.

"The Wind Fire Wheels can do that!?" Stelle blinked in surprise.

"Stop it! That's not a yo-yo at all!" March 7th cried out, shocked. What kind of thought process led someone to use a yo-yo like that?

"That looks like fun," Stelle's eyes gradually lit up. "Don't run, Caelus!"

Caelus was already speeding across the ground on the yo-yo as if on roller skates, his speed slowly increasing, 15 mph... 30 mph...

And then he was caught by Stelle.

"Caelus, my boy, let me try!" Stelle was as excited as a child who had discovered a new toy.

"Do you even know how to use a yo-yo? And you want to play with it? Hey... let go of me!"

A pair of snow-white hands wrapped around Caelus's waist, and ignoring how her fair, snowy assets were squished into an oval shape like sticky rice cakes, Stelle simply lifted Caelus up.

"I don't think this is a matter of knowing how to use a yo-yo or not," March 7th couldn't help but comment. Apologize to all the yo-yo players in the universe right now!

"I don't care! I don't care! I wanna play! I wanna play!"

Like a pestering three-year-old, Stelle relentlessly hugged Caelus and swung him around.

"Stop swinging me."

He could feel the warm, soft jade behind him, and on that soft jade, a rather unfortunate... but what terrified Caelus more was the whiny, pleading voice the Stellaron spirit was putting on... Oh god, this is too much!

"I really can't do anything with you."

Hearing this, Stelle immediately released her arms, her big eyes staring unblinkingly at Caelus.

"I'll carry you on my back, alright?"

Flicking the yo-yo out again, Caelus stood on it, tilted his head, and shrugged.

"Hehe~" Stelle, of course, didn't hold back. She jumped up, wrapped her arms around Caelus's neck, and climbed onto his back. "That's more like it." Her smile was that of an older sister riding her younger brother like a horse.

"What about Qiqi? Want to try?" Caelus looked at the stunned March 7th. Carrying one was the same as carrying two. Although this body's strength couldn't compare to Stelle's, it was more than enough to carry two girls.

"I think I'll pass," March 7th said. She wanted to try, but she was a little embarrassed.

"Then you better keep up."

Then, she saw Caelus take off on the yo-yo with a whoosh.

"Hey! Wait for me!"

The speed, which was gradually accelerating to that of a motorcycle, left March 7th dumbfounded. She quickly started running after them with her long white legs, but she couldn't keep up at all.

In the end, sure enough, embarrassment could go to hell!

"I want to play too!"

And so, Caelus rode the yo-yo with Stelle on his back, and March 7th piggybacking on Stelle. A bizarre and wondrous sight appeared on the roads of the Underworld, leaving countless people with strange expressions on their faces.
