I'm Not A Master, I'm A Director (Creating Fate Movie In Nasuverse)

Chapter 126: Chapter 128: The Tragic Night of Gilgamesh

When EMIYA revealed that he could use a Reality Marble, many in the magic world questioned Shinji, demanding an explanation as to how a modern magi could wield such power.

Shinji's official response at the time was that EMIYA, a Counter Guardian from the future, had abilities similar to those of Shirou Emiya.

Based on this coincidence, the script for Unlimited Blade Works (UBW) was designed.

In reality, EMIYA and Shirou Emiya have no actual connection.

As a famous saying goes, "If you're looking for the Heroic Spirit Emiya, what does that have to do with me, Shirou Emiya?"

Regardless of whether anyone believed it or not, Shinji Matou, the producer, screenwriter, and director of the UBW series, claimed he believed it.

Now, after seeing Shirou Emiya's Reality Marble, all the magi had one thought in their minds—"You're lying, Shinji Matou! You sly little brat!"

The younger generation might not notice, but the older magus, who had studied magecraft for decades, immediately recognized that Shirou Emiya's Reality Marble was the real deal.

This red-haired young man had genuinely unleashed a Reality Marble in this world where mysteries continue to decline.

"We spent two full days on pre-production just to film that scene," Touko complained to Aoko, who was sitting on the sofa.

"First, Shinji used two Command Spells to enhance Medea, and then Medea provided Shirou with a lot of mana, which barely allowed him to release the Reality Marble... though it only lasted for about ten minutes."

"Just to do that, it took two days of preparation?" Aoko couldn't quite understand.

Touko shook her head. "Of course, it wasn't that simple. We took many precautions to ensure Shirou's magic circuits wouldn't be damaged from forcibly releasing the Reality Marble. Just synchronizing Medea's and Shirou Emiya's magical energy took quite a while."

Aoko shrank back slightly. "Just hearing that sounds exhausting."

Someone as careless as her hated meticulous work the most.

"Shinji seems particularly obsessed with making Shirou release a Reality Marble, even if it's only once," Touko sighed.

Aoko analyzed, "Probably because of those old men? They're always saying that the world's magic is in a hopeless state and that only by uniting under their banner can it be saved. But in reality, they can't even unleash a single Reality Marble."

Touko scoffed disdainfully. "Because those old men aren't strong enough. I'd love to see the look on the faces of the Clock Tower folks when they see someone unleash a Reality Marble."

"They'd probably preserve him in formaldehyde..." Aoko's lips twitched.

She suddenly felt a strong urge to visit the Clock Tower, just to see the old men's reactions.

"But that scene lasted more than ten minutes, didn't it? How did they maintain the subsequent scenes?"

"We recorded the appearance of the Reality Marble using a crystal ball," Touko lightly pushed her glasses up with her finger. "That kid always finds strange ways to achieve the effects he wants in his scenes."

"Of course, this is Sir Matou we're talking about. There's nothing he can't do," Alice nodded, feeling proud.

Aoko teased from the side, "I think this is a complete script contrivance. If Gilgamesh had used Ea from the beginning, like he did against Iskandar, Shirou would've lost even with the Reality Marble."

Touko nodded. "That's true! But Gilgamesh's arrogance made him overlook the need to give his all, even when fighting a lesser opponent."

"Isn't that just a scripted outcome?" Aoko sneered. "They added that external setup because Shirou couldn't win otherwise."

"Well..."

Touko was stumped, grumbling, "Aoko, if you have so many complaints, why do you keep watching this show?"

Aoko laughed nonchalantly. "Because it's fun! Watching teenagers fight is always entertaining."

"Aoko, even though you're my sister, I wish you could be a bit more normal..." Touko muttered, her face full of exasperation at the thought that someone like Aoko was her sister.

Aoko completely ignored Touko's words.

Her eyes were focused solely on a certain handsome, half-naked young man—Shinji Matou.

"Oh wow~ That kid from the Matou family sure knows how to mock himself! But I have to admit, his physique is impressive. He probably filmed that scene just to show off his muscles, right?"

Alice poked Aoko in the stomach.

"Look, Ea just made its appearance."

"Really?"

Seeing the familiar black and red drill, Aoko's eyes gleamed with amusement.

On the TV screen, Shirou gradually gained the upper hand, relying on the advantage of his Reality Marble.

"This King is actually being overwhelmed! By this fake!?"

The sound of clashing swords rang out, crisp and sharp.

Gilgamesh's Noble Phantasms were once again countered by Shirou Emiya.

"Damn it, damn it, damn it, damn it!!!" Gilgamesh, in a rage, repeated his frustrations like a broken record.

"A mere human... forcing me, This King, to use the Sword of This King!"

Faced with the choice between his pride and his life, Gilgamesh ultimately chose the latter.

The hilt of a sword, the progenitor of all swords, appeared behind him.

"Don't even think about it—!"

"Ahhhh—!"

In an instant, Kanshou and Bakuya appeared in Shirou's hands, and the black and white twin swords severed the golden king's hand.

"Hahahahahahaha!!!!" *N

As Gilgamesh's elbow was cut off, the Servants in the lounge erupted into deafening laughter.

The laughter was so loud that Ophelia, who was watching TV along with them, glanced at the ceiling, worried that the roof might collapse under the force of their laughter.

But it wasn't over yet.

When Gilgamesh, now missing a hand, admitted defeat by saying, "Damn it—you're stronger now," and retreated, the Servants' laughter grew even louder.

"He surrendered! That arrogant bastard finally surrendered!!"

"You actually admitted defeat, huh? This is too funny!!!"

"Gilgamesh, perform that line again—directly to my face this time~."

...

Iskandar joyfully downed an entire bottle of beer. "How satisfying! The Golden King who broke through my Reality Marble has finally fallen to someone else's. Is this what they call poetic justice?!"

"What Reality Marble? Wasn't it that red faker who delivered the final blow?"

Knowing he couldn't refute his defeat, Gilgamesh chose to nitpick.

After all, losing to a Servant sounded better than losing to a human, relatively speaking.

"Hahaha! Stop being so stubborn and just admit your defeat!"

Cú Chulainn laughed wildly as he spread his arms wide and invited the tightly bound Gilgamesh: "Come on, Gilgamesh. Welcome to the dropout crew!"

"You little mutt... you're asking for it!"

Gilgamesh gritted his teeth and looked at Enkidu. "Enkidu..."

Expecting some comfort from his friend, Gilgamesh instead heard a stifled laugh.

"Pfft—" Enkidu turned away, his face slightly flushed. "Sorry, Gil... I just couldn't help it."

"..."

'This King has been betrayed!!'

Gilgamesh finally understood how Tokiomi felt before he died in Fate/Zero.

But then again, if Enkidu didn't want to see the spectacle, he wouldn't have tied him up and forced him to watch the show.

"You lot..."

Snap The toothpicks holding Gilgamesh's eyelids open snapped.

"... If I don't lose my temper, do you think I'm a pushover?!"

Magic surged from Gilgamesh's body like flames, even altering his hairstyle.

"Is he turning into a Super Saiyan?"

Watching the golden king rise from his chair, Cú Chulainn casually quipped.

"All of you, die! Mutt, you're first!"

An enraged Wild Gilgamesh emerged.

Gilgamesh used [Roar].

Bang!

Li Shuwen used [No Second Strike].

It was super effective!

Thud.

The wild Gilgamesh collapsed.

The battle ended, and darkness engulfed Gilgamesh's vision.

"Hmph, no fighting in the company," Master Li said as he adjusted his Zhongshan suit, exuding the aura of a true master.

"Idiot."

Cú Chulainn smugly picked his teeth with a toothpick, his face full of disdain. "Did you think I'd be so cocky without the old man here?"

"This is what they call riding on someone else's coattails, right?" EMIYA said coldly.

"Hehe."

Cú Chulainn squinted his eyes and smiled slyly, "Hey, Archer."

"What do you want?" EMIYA glared at him.

Cú Chulainn draped his arm around Archer's shoulder and pointed at the TV screen. Archer immediately saw his "Shirou Emiya-style" smile.

"Smile, Archer," Cú Chulainn urged. "Come on, give us a smile~."

EMIYA said nothing and turned his head away.

"Smile, just give us a smile~."

Cú Chulainn's mouth nearly stretched to the back of his head as he danced on the edge of danger with his taunts.

EMIYA clenched his fist but remained silent.

'I can't get angry, absolutely can't get angry.'

EMIYA knew all too well that this dog was only this bold because Master Li was around.

He could endure verbal jabs, but if he struck back, Master Li would punch him into oblivion.

This was an order from Shinji to Master Li.

Gilgamesh, now lying on the ground twitching like a dead frog, was the perfect example.

Seeing that Archer was ignoring him, Cú Chulainn grew even more brazen.

"Finally, I've beaten these bastards once!"

Cú Chulainn pumped his fist in triumph.

Beside him, Yan Qing remained silent, thinking that winning by near coercion wasn't the best idea.

Master Li couldn't protect Cú Chulainn forever, and even now, he was guarding the company, not Cú Chulainn personally.

But seeing Cú Chulainn's satisfied expression, Yan Qing decided to bury this thought deep within his heart.
