A deafening explosion echoed throughout most of Konoha Village.

The violent wind raged as all the ANBU retreated, shielding their faces. Logan stared at the center of the explosion, watching the ripples spread across the distorted purple barrier of the Four Violet Flames Formation. His face showed no sign of joy.

Normally, his Railgun would penetrate any target without question, but this time, the explosion signified a formidable resistance against the unusually sturdy Four Violet Flames Formation.

On the other side, Orochimaru couldn't hide his astonishment at the immense power displayed before him. The lightning had flashed in an instant, faster than the eye could follow. Even Hiruzen was too shocked to utter a word.

Fortunately for Orochimaru, the Four Violet Flames Formation stood between them. Despite the shaking and trembling of the barrier under the impact of the explosive energy, it managed to hold... until-

A crack appeared in the purple barrier. The clear sound of something breaking resonated in the hearts of everyone within the barrier.

Without a word, Logan threw the second electromagnetic kunai.

Sakon and Ukon screamed in horror, but the overwhelming light quickly filled their vision. The electromagnetic energy, after a brief moment of suspense, pierced through the barrier now riddled with cracks. It passed through their bodies without a hint of resistance, and at the far end of the rooftop, an orange streak was carved into the air, like a rainbow suspended in the sky.

The Four Violet Flames Formation was shattered, utterly obliterated and pierced through. Everyone was left in awe at the sight of the technique, which resembled an aurora flickering in the sky. A massive hole had been blown into the rooftop, and from a hundred meters away, the wind howled back through the gap. The leading ANBU cautiously shifted his gaze to the hole... It was where Sakon and Ukon had once stood.

Someone gulped audibly. The barrier that had originally divided the battlefield had now completely vanished. The unrestrained wind blew through the briefly silent battlefield as the leading ANBU was the first to react.

"Protect Hokage-sama!"

Orochimaru's expression was a mix of fury and calculation, with visible rage burning in his yellow eyes, ready to erupt. He scanned the battlefield, then let out a cold, mirthless laugh as the overwhelming presence of one of the Legendary Sannin radiated from him, suppressing everyone around.

"Since it's come to this, I can't just leave empty-handed."

"Orochimaru, stop your futile resistance." Surrounded by many ANBU, Hiruzen said in a deep voice, and then took a deep look at Logan, who had shifted the course of the battle, "Your plot has already failed."

"Don't be so naive, old man!" Orochimaru shouted, his hands moving rapidly into a series of hand signs as his sinister Chakra surged outward.

Logan's expression shifted slightly, 'Orochimaru still wanted to fight?'

"Impure World Reincarnation!"

No time for the usual pre-battle banter; Orochimaru, pushed to the edge, slammed his hand onto the ground and summoned help directly.

With a rumbling noise, Orochimaru's Chakra was activated with all his strength, and the two coffins broke through the ground and began to rise.

"Stop him!" Hiruzen commanded, feeling an ominous and eerily familiar presence emanating from within the coffins. Without hesitation, he gave the order.

The group of ANBU turned into black shadows and shot towards Orochimaru, but one figure moved even faster.

The remaining three members of the Sound Four gritted their teeth and rushed forward to intercept the approaching Logan.

'The third!'

Orochimaru's snake-like eyes gleamed with madness as a third coffin was summoned.

"Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique!" Hiruzen threw a single shuriken, quickly forming hand signs. Mid-flight, the shuriken multiplied into hundreds, forming a dark cloud of deadly weapons descending upon Orochimaru's position.

Orochimaru opened his mouth and vomited forth a mass of white snakes that spewed out in a disgusting torrent, their writhing bodies intercepting and deflecting the shuriken.

Meanwhile, Logan was momentarily hindered by the Sound Four, but the ANBU quickly followed up, forcing the Sound Four to retreat. In the ensuing chaos, Logan only had time to grab hold of the third coffin closest to him.

"Get back down!" Logan snarled as electricity surged through him. He forcibly halted the coffin's ascent, his touch registering the sickeningly decayed aura of the reanimated bodies within. Gritting his teeth against the revulsion, he exerted his strength. The incomplete Impure World Reincarnation was still fragile, so with a push, Logan forced the coffin back into the ground.

Crack, crack…

The sound of wood creaking open echoed twice.

Logan was startled. With a quick glance, he found that the lids of the two summoned coffins Orochimaru had summoned at the first moment had been opened. He knew that the technique could not be undone niow.
