Kakashi paused and then pointed to the main rooftop, "He went there."

Sakura directly pulled Naruto out of the hole. Unable to resist, Naruto had no choice but to set aside his concerns for now. Outside, there was a large tree, and as the wind shifted suddenly, they landed on its thick branches. Shikamaru grumbled incessantly, while Sakura's face was tense, and Naruto fully turned toward the direction the Ninken was leading.

Logan's expression was grim as he held his sword. Someone shouted, and several ANBU's members turned their wary gazes toward him.

"Jonin, Raiden Hattori."

One of the leading ANBU frowned, "Don't get any closer, this is beyond your involvement."

"And you think you're capable of handling this?" Logan swept his gaze around, the edge of his sword radiating killing intent. His words were anything but polite. Takeshi is not present, and many of the ANBU who had been guarding the area were gradually being pulled away to defend the village.

Understanding his current role made many of Logan's previous concerns fade. The leading ANBU opened his mouth to reprimand him, but the sudden crackling sound in the air, followed by a blinding flash of lightning, caused him to close his mouth instinctively.

Zzzzzzt--

"Hey, what are you..."

A flash of light sped across the ground, and with a swoosh, the figure moved past the ANBU, leaving their words drowned out by the wind. It was the glow of the Chidori. Some of the ANBU recognized it, recalling a similar, relentless light from a recent match. However, what they saw now was sharper, more unstoppable than before.

The sharp thrust, like flames burning through their nerves, left the Anbu with dry mouths, and the purple barrier roared in response.
