I'm Already Invulnerable, I Want to Play DPS.

Chapter 3: 3-Leaving the Instance!

---

They had only dozed off for a moment, yet someone dared to venture alone into the trial realm.

How could they be so bold!

To think that someone who had just awakened would dare to do such a thing!

Sure, this might be the most ordinary trial secret realm, but the Goblin King inside was still a level 7 bronze boss.

Even teams of geniuses from previous years weren't guaranteed to defeat that massive creature.

Though these students all carried student IDs that could protect them from death once within the secret realm, those IDs weren't just useful in this school—they were valid in every secret realm across the entire country.

Such an item was so rare that even the great families with Martial Gods might not have many to spare.

Yet this guy was wasting it here—calling it a reckless squandering of treasure wouldn't be an exaggeration.

To give something like that to him was simply a waste.

They had already decided that once this student came out, they would harshly criticize him and issue a school-wide announcement.

They wanted those arrogant fools to clearly understand just how precious the student IDs in their hands truly were.

It wasn't that they didn't want to rush into the secret realm to rescue this Su Mo themselves.

The problem was that once this instance activated, it became a multi-layered space, with each person entering a different location unless they teamed up beforehand.

So, for now, they could only wait at the entrance of the trial realm.

Inside the instance, Su Mo had no idea what was happening outside.

At this moment, he had reached the deepest part of the goblin lair and come face-to-face with the final boss of this instance: the Goblin King.

The Goblin King stood a full three meters tall, wielding a spiked club even thicker than Su Mo himself.

The moment the Goblin King laid eyes on Su Mo, it charged at him like a bull in heat.

With every pulse of its legs, the entire cave trembled, and it raised its spiked club high before swinging it down toward Su Mo.

If that club landed, an ordinary person wouldn't just be left without a corpse—their bones wouldn't even be pieced together.

Su Mo initially considered using his Guandao to see if he could block the attack.

But then he thought about how that Guandao had cost him nearly 2,000 yuan.

If it got smashed to bits in one blow, wouldn't he feel heartbroken?

So, he tossed his only weapon aside and decided to take the hit with his bare body.

[Boom!]

With a deafening crash, the ground beneath Su Mo's feet exploded into a half-meter-deep crater.

The Goblin King didn't pause for a second after landing that blow—it raised its spiked club again and smashed down once more.

After three consecutive strikes, half of Su Mo's body was buried in the ground.

Fortunately, he had already boosted his strength to 33 points beforehand.

With a fierce push of his hands, he pried the ground apart and leapt up, landing atop the Goblin King's head.

He threw a punch—not the kind that made ordinary goblins' heads explode on impact.

Instead, there was a loud [bang], and blood sprayed from the Goblin King's forehead.

Beneath the torn flesh, cracks began to appear on its exposed skull.

A level 7 bronze boss wasn't so simple after all.

Su Mo was just thinking this when the Goblin King, enraged by the pain, went berserk.

One massive hand grabbed Su Mo and hurled him viciously toward the cave wall.

But earlier, when the Goblin King had smashed him with the spiked club, he hadn't taken a single scratch—so what harm could this throw do?

With a powerful push of his legs, Su Mo leapt again, landing back on the Goblin King's head.

Another fierce punch widened the cracks on the Goblin King's skull.

After being thrown off again, the Goblin King began rampaging wildly through the cave, crashing into everything.

Repeating the same maneuver several times, the three-meter-tall Goblin King finally collapsed to the ground.

Its body gradually faded away, and a bronze treasure chest slowly materialized on the floor.

In this game-invaded world, defeating a boss and getting a treasure chest was nothing unusual.

A golden light flashed over Su Mo's body once more—he had reached level 3.

Looking at the chest before him, Su Mo set aside even the excitement of leveling up.

Opening a treasure chest! This was his first time ever doing it.

He'd always heard others talking about so-and-so opening a chest and getting some legendary item, or someone else pulling a game-changing treasure from one.

Today, it was his turn to test his luck!

He blew on his hands for good fortune, then yanked open the bronze chest.

Two items popped out, and the chest vanished once more.

[Goblin King's Heart: Perhaps it can be used as material for some kind of potion.]

[Goblin King's Spiked Club: +3 Strength when equipped, +2 Berserk.]

Su Mo curled his lip. "Damn, what kind of trash is this!"

That lousy heart was useless to him since it was something only crafting-class awakeners could use.

As for the spiked club, it only added 3 points to strength—he could kill three small goblins faster than that.

Not only was it ugly, but it also had a berserk effect. He wasn't a berserker—what use was berserk to him?

Though, while saying this, he didn't even consider how his fighting style was every bit as ferocious as a berserker's.

He stashed the two items and carefully searched the goblin cave again, making sure there were no other goblins or treasures before sitting down to allocate his points.

Honestly, he was a bit disappointed with this Goblin King.

Fighting that old monster had taken him nearly 20 minutes.

In those 20 minutes, he could've wiped out all the goblins in the earlier areas again.

Sure, beating the Goblin King gave him a chest with a chance at good loot, but all he got was a measly bronze chest—what amazing thing could come from that?

He opened his panel:

[Name: Su Mo]

[Level: 3]

[Awakened Abilities: Absolute Defense, Heart of Slaughter]

[Strength: 33+2]

[Defense: Max]

[Speed: 6+2]

[Constitution: 23+2]

[Critical Chance: 3%+2]

[Skills: None]

[Free Attribute Points Available: 31]

31 free attribute points—what should he put them into?

Should he aim to be a well-rounded pentagon warrior, or just go all-in on brute force?

Forget it—pentagon warrior can wait for later. Mindless strength stacking it is. I'll be invincible!

In the next instant, he dumped all his free attribute points into strength, bringing it to a terrifying 65.

With that kind of strength, forget level 10 ordinary players—even a level 10 golden boss wouldn't be much better.

Sure, a golden boss would have more balanced stats and wouldn't be as lopsided as his, but at least his strength had reached golden boss tier.

And the craziest part? He was still only level 3.

The Guandao that had once felt heavy in his hands now felt as light as cotton.

Su Mo shook his head helplessly. Looks like he'd need to swap it for a heavier weapon.

[Leave Instance]

A glow enveloped Su Mo's body, and in the next moment, he vanished from the spot.

When he opened his eyes again, he was back at the trial secret realm's entrance.

By now, the entrance was surrounded by a crowd, and two of the trial secret realm's guardians glared at him, their faces dark as the bottom of a pot.
