I Was Reborn in Another World, But I Awoke Inside a Corpse

Chapter 130: Chapter 132: Feast of Ash and Flame

Chapter 132: Feast of Ash and Flame

The Abyss screamed.

Beelzebub had changed. No longer a grotesque parody of man—he had become something ancient and vile. Wings of gnawed bone jutted from his back. His legs were replaced by spiraling limbs of tongue-wrapped blades. His head had no face now—only a crown of mouths, each one speaking in a different forgotten language.

Where he stood, reality sagged.

The roots above him began to decay faster.

The chamber stank of hunger.

"I am the Devourer of Flame," he thundered. "The Glutton of Names. You will vanish within me, and no one will remember you ever existed."

Isaac stood silently across from him, battered but unwavering. Blood ran down his temple, his armor cracked at the collarbone. Only six Phantom Legion weapons remained, orbiting him like tired but loyal sentries.

He raised his hand.

His gaze landed on one.

Skill selected.

Something changed.

A pulse spread from his core—not of light, but of intent.

The Legion blades flared as if inhaling his resolve. The surrounding air shimmered subtly. Isaac stepped forward once.

Beelzebub shrieked and charged.

The world tore open.

The Sin's wings unfolded, and with a roar that fractured stalactites from above, he launched a storm of abyssal orbs—each one compressing gravitational hunger. They spiraled toward Isaac like miniature black holes.

Isaac didn't retreat.

His Phantom Legion moved first—faster than thought. Two swords darted ahead, slicing the orbs mid-flight and detonating them harmlessly. A third twisted behind him, intercepting a tendril that tried to strike from below.

Isaac blurred forward—each step a calculated answer to what Beelzebub hadn't even done yet.

He ducked low, slid beneath a wing-blade swipe, and rose within the Sin's guard, slashing upward with a conjured axe. Black ichor sprayed across the stone as Beelzebub shrieked in pain.

"You think yourself untouchable?! You are prey!"

Beelzebub's torso opened—a howling chasm of fangs and bile—and a cone of devouring fog rushed toward Isaac.

This time, he vaulted into the air.

Two spectral halberds spun beneath him, forming a platform. He flipped, hurled a dagger down that detonated with blinding Moonflame energy, and then descended with a spear aimed at Beelzebub's shoulder.

Impact.

The Sin staggered.

The very floor warped.

For the first time, Beelzebub hesitated.

"You... adapt too well," he rasped. "You learn too fast. You were not meant to be here."

Isaac's voice was calm. Cold.

"I was never meant to exist. That's why I'm the one who ends you."

Abyssal Overdrive forming…

The Sin reared back.

From the ceiling above, a divine root—thick and glowing with the last vestiges of Freya's influence—snapped loose and fell.

Isaac caught it mid-air.

It pulsed in his hand, reacting to the fire in his soul.

He didn't think.

He hurled it.

The root shard became a javelin of life.

At the same moment, two of his Phantom blades aligned behind it—guiding it with augmented speed and perfect trajectory from [Aetherfield Sync].

The root-shard pierced straight into Beelzebub's chest.

Then the weapons hit.

Then Isaac landed, driving a conjured hammer into the Sin's collapsing center.

A final pulse.

A scream.

Then—

Collapse.

The world shattered around them.

When the light faded, only ash remained.

Beelzebub—the Maw of Endless Hunger—was gone.

Isaac knelt, panting. Blood ran from his knuckles. His weapons flickered once more… then faded.

His hand touched the ground.

And for the first time in what felt like eternity, the Abyss was silent
