I Want to Die, But I Am Immortal

When Adam saw that Monica was getting even more scared of him he decided that he would leave now. He had said what he needed to say.

Then he stood up. Immediately Drake came into that hall. He had probably been waiting just outside the door. And he saw Adam with Monica.

He immediately moved forward very quickly. He crossed the room in a few long strides. And stood right next to Monica protectively. Seeing this Adam was very confused for a moment.

But then he understood the dynamic between them. He smiled to himself. And he started to leave. Saying this "You people may kill people. But you still have humanity left in you. It's very strange." After saying this Adam left from there.

Drake did not understand much of this. He just glared at Adam's retreating back. But Monica understood this very well. She realized that in Adam's eyes they were all the same. Adam saw them all as killers. Nothing more than that.

Drake bent down towards Monica. He looked at Monica and said "Are you okay? Did he do anything to you?" After hearing this Monica looked at Drake.

She hid her pain and her fear and smiled a small weak smile. She said "No he just came to talk." Hearing this there was no happiness on Drake's face. Instead there was a deep and simmering anger.

Drake was enduring all this only because it was all Cyan's decision. And he respected and honored Cyan a lot. He was his leader and his brother. That is why he was going along with this decision.

Otherwise Drake himself would attack Adam as soon as he got the chance. This was what was going on in his mind. He would protect his family.

Adam went to his room and lay down. He stared up at the ceiling. He thought if I use these people well then the constant threat to Sophia will not remain. I can finally give her some peace. Thinking this Adam fell asleep.

His mind and body were exhausted. When the whole evening turned into night all those people had somehow adjusted in Adam's house. They found places to sleep in the living room and the spare bedroom. And they fell asleep.

As soon as Adam's eyes opened in the morning the lock on his room door opened with a soft click. Because of which Adam immediately sat up on the bed.

He was instantly awake and alert. He immediately summoned his gun from the inventory into his hand. He aimed it at his gate. As if someone was about to attack him.

But then Adam realized that there must be some member of The Ghost Group at his gate.

Understanding this Adam sent the gun back into the inventory. He went to the gate and opened it. He saw Cyan standing outside.

Adam was not surprised at all. He opened the gate and started to go inside his room. Then Cyan called Adam from behind. He said "Adam can I talk to you?" Adam said without looking back "I'm listening." And Adam started to get ready for school.

He was about to go take a bath after taking out his clothes.

Then Cyan spoke again. "I don't understand why you have kept us with you. I know that you want to take revenge on the Roundhall family. But you should have kept only me for this. You could have let all my companions go somewhere else."

After hearing this Adam who was going out of the room to take a bath stopped.

He looked at Cyan and said "You are right. And in fact it would have been more beneficial for me to keep only you. And kill all your other companions." After hearing this Cyan who was standing very peacefully immediately had a flash of anger on his face.

He clenched his fists. But he calmed his anger.

Then Adam spoke again. "But I have kept you here because if you are supporting me then in some situation I can also support you. Because if we both stay together the danger that is on you is also on me. That is to lose our lives. So why don't we both defend each other?" Hearing this Cyan was very surprised.

Because before today no one had ever talked about defending him except his team. He had always been the one protecting others.

And Adam was not really going to save him. He was just playing a mind game with Cyan. Adam's real motive was to save Sophia. He did not care what happened to these people.

Adam had seen last night how all these people listened to Cyan.

They followed his orders without question.

No matter what kind it was. And Adam had taken advantage of this. He would use Cyan and all his companions The Ghost Group to save Sophia.

Then Cyan said in a surprised voice "Are you telling the truth? Will you defend us?" But Adam turned around and left. He said "If danger comes to you I will have to defend you." After hearing this Cyan was about to say something more.

But he saw that Adam had entered the bathroom. He did not understand what Adam was thinking. Why had he kept all those people with him. However Adam was also very surprised.

He thought that all of The Ghost Group would run away in the night. He had expected them to leave. But as much as he had analyzed Cyan and his team he knew one thing very well.

Cyan did not care if he died or lived. His priority was that Monica and his companions should remain alive. However his biggest weakness was also Monica. But he could not let Adam know that. But if Adam started to help him then the coming danger that was coming on them could be avoided. At least for Monica.

Then Adam said "I also have to tell you one thing." Hearing this Cyan's attention went to Adam. Who was thinking something until now.

Then Adam said "As soon as Monica gets well she will go to school with me. So that I can keep an eye on her 24 hours a day." Hearing this Cyan was surprised.

Adam was a little lost in his own thoughts. He wanted Monica to stay with him. And especially with Sophia. So that he could complete two tasks.

The first was to get Sophia a girl friend. And the second was someone who could stay with Sophia 24 hours a day. To protect her from any danger.

If they came to know about Adam's existence and especially which bloodline he was related to then those families could definitely stop all these attacks.

And Cyan also wanted the same thing. Until he went to the Empire and told those other families about this Monica would be safe with Adam.

And later also as soon as those families came to know about Adam's existence then those families would come forward and stop the Roundhall family. After this Adam could get a very big position in the Roundhall family itself.

For this the Roundhall family itself wanted to kill Adam first. Then Monica could get even more security. Thinking about these things Cyan looked at Adam.

He said "I am ready. However for now Monica needs rest." Hearing this Adam was very surprised.
