I Want to Die, But I Am Immortal

As soon as Adam's eyes fell on those three people he saw that all three of them lifted their guns. They pointed them towards Adam. Their movements were swift and professional. But Adam did not stop here.

He smiled looking at them. A small knowing smile. When they saw that Cyan and Monica had gone behind them they got very surprised.

Their professional composure faltered. Then Cyan and Monica also saw those three people. Then all three of them ran there while their guns were still on Adam. They were ready to protect their leader.

But then they shouted and said to Cyan. "Leader move from there quickly." They were ready to open fire. After hearing this Monica who was still in an injured state wanted to raise her hand and say something. She wanted to tell them to stop. But then Cyan stopped her.

He placed a hand on her arm. Cyan looked at those three and said. "Stop all three of you stop there." Hearing this all three of them got very surprised.

Their guns started coming down. They were unable to think what was happening. Their minds were racing trying to make sense of the situation.

This target was in their target list only. He was their primary objective.

Then what was this target doing in their base? And how were Cyan and Monica in such a condition? Monica was injured and their leader was standing next to the target as if they were allies.

Then they started to understand. Or they thought they did. The same Drake raised his gun. He was running very fast forward. He thought Cyan was a hostage.

Seeing this Cyan also understood what Drake was thinking. Cyan was currently giving shoulder to Monica who was not able to stand on her own. That is why Cyan looked towards Monica.

He said "All of you stand against the wall. I am coming." Drake was running with a lot of fuel. Drake's specialty was that he was very skilled in close combats and in using a knife. And he was running very fast towards Adam.

Adam seeing this prepared himself to fight. He settled into a low stance ready to counter the attack. Then Cyan suddenly went in the middle.

He moved with a surprising burst of speed. He stopped Drake by putting both his hands forward. Seeing this Drake stopped immediately.

He looked at Cyan and shouted "Leader what has happened? Don't be afraid we will fight together and not let him go alive from here."

Then Cyan suddenly shouted and said "I have told you to stop. Will you not listen to me?" Hearing that the leader was very angry Drake calmed himself down.

He took a step back his weapon still at the ready. From behind both Samanta and Suman came and stopped Drake. Samanta said that Drake should listen to the leader. Hearing this Cyan also said that we have made a deal with this boy. That's why you don't need to attack him.

Hearing this Drake got very surprised. Then Cyan said "Drake."

But he silenced him in the middle and said "Listen to me quietly we have dealt with him." Then Samanta looked at Cyan. Once she looked at Monica.

And on the other hand she looked at their surroundings. And she understood what had happened. She saw the bodies of their fallen comrades.

Then Samanta looked at Cyan and said "Leader are there any other of our fellow children?" Hearing this Leader looked down. His silence was the only answer she needed. Samanta understood what had happened.

Then Cyan again looked at the three and said "We all have come back from hell. I wanted to give you a good life. I did not want all of you to remain engaged in this work. You all are young right now that's why you are engaged. As soon as your time comes those people will not leave you. I found this to be the best way. To save all of you." Hearing this all three understood.

They understood the sacrifice their leader was making.

Then Adam finally moved forward and said "I am not scared of you people at all. If you are so fond of doing this to me then go ahead. But be ready that I will not hold back my strength." At the same time Cyan moved forward.

He raised his hand towards Adam. He gestured and asked him to stop. He said "I am sorry Adam! But we will not do anything to you now." Hearing this Adam took a deep breath.

He said "Come with me and take a break."

Hearing this Drake looked at Cyan. But then he did not say anything. He knew that Cyan would always think good for them. That is why he let out a deep breath and looked towards Samanta and Suman.

Suman was the same man whom Adam had killed in the previous loop after tying up Monica. He was alive in this timeline. Adam started to leave from there.

Seeing this Cyan came to Monica's side. Samanta also came next to Monica and started giving her a shoulder. Then Cyan looked at Monica and again at Samanta.

He said "I considered all the people to be the same. But you people are very important to me. I am not so sad for the rest of the people. Because I still have you people."

Hearing this Monica Drake Samanta and Suman all looked at Cyan.

Even though anger was rising in all their hearts for Adam they knew that the most sad person in this thing would be Cyan himself. Because this team was like a family to him.

All these people came from an orphanage in the Empire. They had no future. Because these orphanages were run by the Royal Families themselves. Their only motive was to get dirty work done for them. From childhood these people were given training in assassination.

In which Cyan was one of the genius children. But because he had seen a lot of things. And had seen many of his companions being killed in front of his own eyes by the hands of the Royal Family itself.

For this reason Cyan wanted to take his companions out of there and take them somewhere else. But he had seen many such assassins who had tried to do this work before.

Whose end was very bad. And Cyan also knew this. He knew that the consequences of what he had just done would be very deep.

And the biggest thing was that Cyan was going to live with that target of the Royal Family. Living with whom was a reason to invite death forcefully.

Because Adam himself was of Royal Family blood. Who was born somewhere else and was living somewhere else. Which was a kind of restriction for the Royal Family.

And the Royal Family did not consider the survival of such people to be good. That is why Adam's death was certain.

In a short while all those people reached Adam's house with Adam. Adam opened the gate. And without turning back he said to all of them "Consider this as your own home." Hearing this those people looked at each other.

They came inside. Adam went and sat in the kitchen. Cyan laid Monica on the sofa there. After looking at Monica Cyan immediately went to the kitchen. Where Adam was sitting.

Adam looked at Cyan and said "What are you looking at? Start cooking for everyone. You can take their help too." Saying this Adam left from there. And he looked at Cyan for the last time before leaving.

He walked out of the kitchen leaving Cyan and the others to their task. He went into the main hall where Monica was lying on the sofa.

He saw that no one else was present there. The others were in the kitchen helping Cyan. Only Monica was lying there. Her eyes were closed. She seemed to be resting.

Adam went and sat on the other sofa next to Monica. The old furniture creaked under his weight. Monica who had her eyes closed immediately opened them. Her body tensed.

She looked at Adam with fear. A raw and undisguised fear.

Although Adam knew Monica a little bit because of the previous loop he understood her motivations now her loyalty to Cyan. But Monica did not know Adam at all.

To her he was a monster. A boy who had single-handedly destroyed her team.

A boy who had tortured her without a second thought.

So she was very scared of Adam this time. Because the way Adam had tortured Monica the feeling of the knife piercing her skin was still playing in front of Monica's eyes. It was a fresh and vivid memory.

Then Adam said his voice was quiet and even. "I only did to you what you people were doing to me. Now we have a deal between us. So you don't need to be afraid." He said the words simply. As if it were a simple fact.

Even though Adam had said this Monica's fear had not gone away at all. His words did not comfort her. They did not reassure her. Instead her fear had increased even more.

Because she knew that what he said was true. They had come to kill him.
