I Want to Die, But I Am Immortal

A staircase was present after the end of the corridor. Adam walked slowly toward it. He let out a deep breath and pulled his cap down low over his eyes.

So that Adam's face could not be seen. He slowly descended the stairs one step at a time.

Adam was fully prepared that a bullet could hit his body at any moment. He was walking into the lion's den. But Adam's skills were fully prepared.

He had his Iron Skin skill active. Which could save Adam from any surprise attack.

However Adam had seen this skill become useless before. If a bullet was fired from a sniper rifle it would bypass this skill and enter Adam's body directly.

He seemed to be making some kind of device. He was sitting on the floor surrounded by tools and wires.

The light that was visible from the stairs was kept next to this man. It was a single bright lamp that was working as a light in this house.

Then that man spoke without looking up. His voice was casual and a little annoyed. "Is Monica still not awake? I told you before that she won't wake up so early." Saying this he remained busy with his work. He did not look at Adam.

He assumed it was one of his teammates. Adam did not reply to him. He moved silently behind him. He stood right behind him.

That man who was the technician of The Ghost Group. And besides combat he was very professional in technical skills.

He was very surprised when he felt someone standing behind him. He was thinking what does he want to say. Why isn't he speaking.

Thinking this he turned back to look at his companion. But his eyes widened when he turned back. Because Adam had put his gun in front of his forehead.

Before he could open his mouth or say anything before he could even process the shock Adam fired the gun.

The silenced weapon made no noise at all. And that man was killed right there. He slumped over and lay down on the ground.

Adam immediately grabbed that man. He dragged him to the side of the room. He put a sheet that was lying there on top of him covering the body. He also turned off the light that was kept next to that man.

And which was illuminating this whole small hall. Because of which the whole hall became dark. Adam saw that there were rooms on all three sides of that hall.

And right behind Adam was the main gate. From where one could enter this house. Adam was getting some kind of movement from every room.

The faint sound of voices and shuffling. Adam was also getting the advantage of this darkness. Because Adam's eyes had adjusted very quickly to this darkness. He could see perfectly.

He moved forward. He first came to the room on the right side. He put his hand on the cool wood of the door. He closed his eyes and tried his best to listen to the sound inside.

Then Adam started hearing the voices of two people from inside. They were talking to each other inside in low tones.

Seeing this Adam removed his hand. Then Adam moved from there to the other room the one in the middle.

He heard the voices of some people from that room too. Adam started to focus his full attention on those voices.

He guessed that there were between 5 to 6 people inside. Adam immediately removed his hand.

Adam knew that in a few seconds someone present here would become suspicious of what was happening. The silence from the technician would not go unnoticed for long.

Then Adam immediately went to the last remaining room the one on the left. He put his hand on it. Then Adam did not hear the voices of people there.

But the sound of a computer CPU humming and the sounds coming from many monitors. Seeing this

Adam understood that the leader must be in this room. Why was Adam so sure of this? Because from this room Adam was hearing the replies coming from many radios.

The faint crackle of communication. Which were coming from the other attack teams of The Ghost Group. The ones stationed around the city.

Adam immediately stepped back. He started thinking of many strategies in his mind. He did not know how powerful the leader of The Ghost Group was.

But he was sure that he would be more powerful than him. He was the leader for a reason.

Then Adam realized that his stats had increased a lot. And he could easily defeat any ordinary person. He had a chance.

Then Adam smiled and moved forward again. And Adam decided that first not the leader but the remaining people would be dealt with.

He would clear out the other rooms first. So Adam would check his strength. He went to the first room. Where two people were present. He took a deep breath. His hand rested on the doorknob.

He could hear their conversation in a very low voice. Then Adam took a deep breath. He opened the gate very slowly.

However the people sitting inside had no idea what was about to happen.

As soon as Adam opened the door completely he ran inside with the speed of lightning. Those people still had no idea what was happening.

As soon as Adam ran inside he brought his gun forward. He fired two bullets very quickly. They went straight and hit both their foreheads. And they both were killed right there.

Adam came next to them very quickly before they could fall to the ground. Then Adam saw that a man was sleeping there on the sofa.

Before he could open his eyes Adam came next to him.

And as soon as the two whose heads were shot fell to the ground that man's eyes opened. But then Adam fired a bullet. He killed everyone there.

The people present in the other room had no idea what had happened in this room. On the roof there was a room where Monica was tied up. She was in pain.

She knew that today was the last day of the legendary assassin group The Ghost Group. Because they had targeted the wrong man.

The man whom all the Royal Families feared. Because he himself was of Royal Family blood. The man who had come to the verge of destroying the Royal Family today. And was moving forward.

Adam came out of that room. He saw that one man came out from the room where 6 people were present. He was very confused.

He said in a very low voice "Jack why did you turn off the light?" Seeing this Adam immediately went to that man.

And as soon as he closed the door of that room Adam reached behind that man. He put both his hands on the man's neck and broke his neck.

He killed him right there. The man just felt a gust of wind. His neck snapped and he died instantly. He started to fall straight to the ground.

But then Adam caught him and gently put him on the ground. He put him next to Jack. The technical member whom Adam had killed first after coming down.

Then Adam looked at that room. Where only five people were left now. According to Adam's calculation.

Adam knew that his speed had become very fast. Then Adam took a deep breath. He opened the gate and started to go inside.

Those people still had no idea. Adam saw that this was a different room. And a slightly bigger room. Where a table was kept. Where many members were playing pool.

Adam entered and directly pointed his gun at two people next to that table. Before those people could realize anything Adam fired the gun.

As soon as those two were shot the two others standing next to them who were talking to each other with a bottle of alcohol in their hands turned their attention to those two.

But then Adam came right behind them. He directly fired two more bullets from his gun and killed them there too.

Adam had no time at all. So Adam immediately equipped another gun in his hand. He jumped on top of the last person left there who was watching something on TV.

He pointed his gun at him and killed him in a few milliseconds.

Adam had killed all five of these people in a few seconds. He had to catch the leader. And he had to ask him some questions. Determined Adam went out of that room.

In the other room the leader was still wearing headphones in his ears. There were 6 screens there. He was looking at those 6 screens. And he was communicating with his people outside.
