I Want to Die, But I Am Immortal

Adam tried his best to move his body but he failed completely.

His body was not cooperating with him at all. He couldn't even shake his neck properly. Seeing this Cyan smiled and immediately let go of his hand.

Because of this Adam's head which he was holding by the hair fell down suddenly. But before it came down completely Cyan who was standing in front of him punched Adam very hard on the cheek.

Adam looked very helpless. He gathered all his courage so that he could get out of here in some way. But he saw that Monica and those people went ahead and stood in front of Adam.

One of them came behind Adam and again grabbed his hair and straightened his face. Then Adam saw that Cyan and his other companions were standing near Sophia.

Seeing this he understood what these people wanted to do. All these people would not leave Adam alive. They would torture him to death.

And they were also thinking of doing something wrong with Sophia. Adam knew what these people were going to do. He had no choice right now to save Sophia from here.

Nor did he have the courage to stand up and fight all of them. Then Adam took a deep breath. He looked at all of them and said "I had heard a lot about your name before. I used to be very scared."

Hearing this Monica Cyan and the rest of the people's attention went to Adam. Then Cyan smiled and said "Do you want to make us angry so that we kill you first? And you don't have to see what we do with Sophia."

As soon as Adam heard this he understood that the leader of The Ghost Group was not that foolish. He was very smart. He would not let Adam's trick succeed so easily. But then Adam spoke again.

Adam was able to open his mouth with great difficulty which is why he was able to talk. Then Adam said "I found out in the beginning from one of your men inside that The Ghost Group is very dangerous. And also that the Royal Family sent you."

Adam knew that no matter how smart these people were even if Cyan was that smart he would not be able to stop himself after hearing this. And Adam's words were absolutely correct.

Because the eyes of Cyan and all the people present there widened.

And they all started looking at Adam. Monica stepped forward her eyes narrowed. "How do you know?"

Cyan came in front of Monica. He placed a hand on her shoulder stopping her.

He said "It seems we made a big mistake underestimating you." Then he spoke to Adam. He went and stood directly in front of Adam.

Adam was very calm seeing this. At least he had drawn their attention to himself. That was the first step.

Adam knew that his escape was almost impossible. And Adam did not want to leave here alive either. He just needed to buy time. He had to force these people in some way so that they would kill him.

Then Cyan raised his hand. He slapped Adam hard across the face. Adam's face turned sharply to the side. The man behind him grabbed Adam's hair again and turned his face forward.

Then Cyan said "Now answer my questions as I ask them. No more games."

Adam smiled with all his strength. It was a weak and broken smile. He said "You are really the leader of The Ghost Group aren't you?" Cyan got very angry hearing this. A flash of irritation crossed his face. But he controlled his anger.

He smiled and said "I admit. Whatever your plan is you have succeeded in it. You have drawn all our attention to yourself. But I want to ask you for how long? Okay our attention is on you. But I don't see any way for you to escape from here. Not a single one."

Cyan was very confused by Adam's actions. Because he could not understand. If Adam provoked them he would also draw their attention from Sophia.

That much was clear. But there was no point in him trying to escape. They would not let him escape under any circumstances. Because they had made full preparations. There were many men outside too.

They were watching the house from every angle. They kept an eye on everything 24 hours a day. If something strange happened Cyan would know immediately.

But he had not received any such message yet. There was no sign of a rescue. No police. Nothing.

Thinking this Cyan was still very confused. What did Adam want to do? What was his endgame?

Then Adam smiled again. He said "I thought you were the leader of The Ghost Group. The deadliest assassins. Everyone is afraid of you. You are the favorite group of the Royal Family." Hearing the words from Adam's mouth everyone's attention went to Adam. They were waiting to see where this was going.

Then Adam smiled and said "My body is paralyzed. No matter how much you hit me I won't feel any pain."

Hearing Adam's words Cyan realized what a big fool he was being.

But then he realized what Adam was trying to do. Cyan smiled. A slow understanding spread across his face.

He said "Now I understand what you are trying to do. It's a very good plan. Distract us in some way. Convince us to remove the drugs from your body. So that you have a chance to escape. A chance to save your girlfriend from our hands."

Saying this he started smiling again. He sat down on a chair in front of Adam.

He said "That's not going to happen. But I guarantee you this. If you answer my questions we will give you and this girl a death sentence without doing anything else. Without much torture. This is a promise to you from Cyan the leader of The Ghost Group."

Hearing this Adam kept looking at Cyan more carefully. He tried to read the man's expression. He said "What's the guarantee that you won't go back on your own words later?"

Hearing this Cyan turned his face. He looked at his team members and said "If I change my mind or if I go back on my word..." He took a gun out from his pocket. He gave it to Monica and said "...then shoot me with this very gun. Right here."

Hearing this Monica took the gun with a very serious face. She looked at Adam her eyes cold. She said "You don't have any choice. You won't get a better opportunity than this. Because you are going to die anyway. And that too an easy death. This is very good news for you."

Adam started thinking for a moment after hearing their words. His mind was racing. For him even a one percent hope was a lot. It was everything. He just did not want anything to happen to Sophia in any way.

But he knew that even if he killed himself these people would still do something to Sophia. They would hurt her. Something that Adam could not even think of.

Then Adam opened his mouth. His voice was a raw whisper. He said "You can torture me as much as you want. Do whatever you want to me. But kill Sophia in this unconscious state. End it for her now."

Hearing this Monica and all the people present there were very surprised. They looked at Adam with a new kind of expression. They had expected him to beg for her life not for her death.

Then Cyan stood up. He very quickly took the gun from Monica's hand. The same one he had given her just moments before. He immediately put the gun to Sophia's head and fired. The sound was a sharp crack that echoed in the silent room. Because of which Sophia died right there in her chair.

Then Cyan turned back. He looked at Adam. He said "I fulfilled your promise. Now it's your turn." All the other people present there were shock by this.

But Monica was looking at Adam. She was very surprised. She could not understand how this boy who looked only 18 years old could be so ruthless.

Even for his own girlfriend. To ask for her death.

Monica might have looked young but she was much older. She had seen many things in her life. She had seen cruelty and violence. But this was different. This was something she had never seen before.

And that day when Adam went into that house the one with the sniper he had caught Monica sleeping in that day.

That was the main hideout of The Ghost Group. Cyan the leader of The Ghost Group was present downstairs.

He had been listening to everything happened in the city except his own base. And many communication devices were fitted downstairs. It was their command center. Adam could not see this at that time.

Looking at Cyan Adam opened his mouth. His voice was empty and tired.

He said "There is a family living in this city. The Song family. Their youngest son Philips. He told me everything. Whatever he knows about the Royal Family. About those 80 families. And even about you. Not only this he also told me that you were the one who killed my parents." Adam did not hide anything from them.

He laid all his cards on the table. Because it did not matter to him anymore. He was a guest for only a short time now.

Cyan kept listening to Adam's words quietly. He stood there his expression unreadable. Then he opened his mouth. He said seriously "Is this all the information you have?"

Hearing this Adam was very surprised. He looked at Cyan very seriously and said "Is this information not enough?" He thought he had given them everything.

Then Cyan smiled. He said "I was worrying for no reason. You don't know anything. You have only scratched the surface. And you don't even know the main secret. The real reason why the Royal Families are after you."

As soon as Adam heard this from Cyan's mouth he opened his mouth.

But then Cyan brought his gun forward.

He did not give Adam a chance to speak. He did not give him the answer he so desperately wanted. He shot a bullet in his forehead.

As soon as the bullet hit Adam's forehead darkness spread all around him. The world dissolved into nothingness.
