I want to be a Necromancer!

Chapter 4: What's this?

I still don't understand what was happening, but my gamer instincts is kicking in, and you don't even have to ask me twice. Of course i'll be choosing the Necromancer!

I quickly pressed option 3.

The screen changed and said,

//===

"You have chosen the Boundless Necromancer class.

Rarity: Unknown

Specialty: (due to low-level experience, there's no description yet)

Age: 6 months (Boundless Necromancer type)."

===\

The screen changed again.

//===

"You will now be returning back."

===\\

And just like that, I was back to reality

But it's quiet... The priest hasn't spoken anything. Turns out that the blessing ritual was over. The table that was made from light that i was on started to slowly fade while I descend very slowly from mid air till I touched the floor..

"As expected of commoners, I can't sense any magic in him" the priest said, looking disappointed.

What's with the sudden change in courtesy?

"As long as he's baptized, i'm okay with the results." my father said.

"Thank you for your time priest" my mother said while bowing to the priest alongside my father.

The priest didn't even bother to say goodbye, but we heard him say, "sigh, what a waste of time," as he walked away with his two companions.

As soon as the priest left my father began to burst in joy

"HAHAHA! My baby is finally baptized! My son Azrael, even without having any magic, you'll still be my pride and everything, no matter what," my father said as he lifted me up with joy.

"My baby Azrael, I won't lie to you, but I am disappointed right now," my mother said as for my father to be startled and quickly responded, "Honey–what do you mean?!"

"No, I'm disappointed because of us, because we are commoners who don't have any magic too. That's why we can't give you a good life. I'm sorry, Azrael," my mother wept as she tried to wipe her tears.

My father then hugged her while I reached out to her, unknowingly speaking my first word: "Mama."

They were shocked.

"My baby's first word!" my mother exclaimed with joy. "Oh my, oh my, my baby spoke his first word! HAHA!" My father was overjoyed at what had happened.

"I love you, my baby Azrael. I promise to be the best mother for you" she said as she hugged me tightly in her arms.
