Chapter 659: 659 Fairy Tail: All the Power of Fairy Tail, Prelude to War, The Chosen Wizards, Natsu The Vanguard, and Impending Disaster.
(Fairy Tail)
The next day Allen called all the Fairy Tail wizards to a meeting. He congratulated them on doing such a good job.
"Of course, it was so easy!" Natsu shouted proudly.
"Yeah sure, that's why they almost defeated you..." mocked Laxus, leaning back in his chair.
"Shut up, that guy with golden rings only knocked me down once!" Natsu retorted, earning laughter from many and teasing from Gray.
"Oh I see, so candle-head had trouble, Kekeke!"
"Shut up, Gajeel!" Natsu lunged at him and they started fighting, breaking the table in the process.
Natsu already had to endure Gray's teasing, and with Gajeel added it became unbearable, so he decided to fight. That was Fairy Tail — every time the smallest disagreement came up, fists started flying like in a shady tavern brawl.
Soon Natsu pushed Wakaba, who accidentally hit Elfman. In the blink of an eye, the whole guild got involved. Even Erza, who tried to stop them by grabbing Gray's head and hurling him toward a wall — if that counted as stopping them. Laxus had Gajeel in a chokehold while Natsu bit his head.
"..." Allen stretched out a hand to stop a beer mug that was flying toward Mirajane. Lucy and Juvia hid behind him.
Cana kept drinking, Levy crawled under a table, and Laki ran to the kitchen. Unexpectedly, Makarov kept drinking as if none of this concerned him. And indeed, ever since Allen had become Guild Master, Makarov no longer stopped fights.
"Aren't you going to stop them?!" shouted Happy, the blue cat, terrified.
"Hm?" Allen smiled, "Maybe in a bit."
Allen could stop the fight, but what was the point? This group was like this. He gained nothing by repressing them and had no intention of doing so. Broken tables and chairs didn't matter since he could restore them, so he just waited for them to tire themselves out, like a father with hyperactive twins.
A plate flew at Mirajane. She, not wanting to rely on Allen, moved quickly to dodge. However, the plate curved in midair and hit her in the forehead anyway. Allen wasn't sure why, but legend said that before he and Lucy had joined the guild, Mirajane, even though she never participated in the fights, always ended up injured because things mysteriously flew toward her. Apparently, Mira was like a high school girl who was a magnet for soccer balls.
Allen frowned. He could tolerate them fighting and breaking a few tables, but attacking Mira?
"That's enough!"
Everyone fighting collapsed to the ground, crushed by atmospheric pressure.
"((What's happening?!))"
"((It's Allen, must be a new magic!))"
"((Master, we get it already!))"
The air was so dense that even sound was affected, making their voices sound muffled. Allen released the pressure, allowing everyone to breathe again.
"Damn, another absurd magic..." said Gray helplessly.
"Tsk..." Laxus had withstood the pressure only on one knee, but still wasn't satisfied with the outcome.
"It's not fair that Erza didn't get punished!" Natsu shouted angrily.
Everyone looked at him like he was an idiot. Obviously, Allen wouldn't punish her, even if she had joined in. That was the privilege of being his girlfriend.
"Is there a problem?" Erza said in her threatening voice.
"N-no, nothing..." Natsu trembled, crawling backward.
"..." Mystogan stood at the entrance, face covered, and of course, he also got away with it.
"You're all so stupid, Haha." Cana mocked while drinking. Who in their right mind would fight in front of Allen?
"Is it over now?" Levy crawled out from under the table.
Since the guild had calmed down, Allen decided to get to the point before something else happened.
"Let's not waste time. We'll go to Cait Shelter..."
"Cait Shelter? What a cute name..." Lucy said with a smile.
"Juvia had never heard of that guild..." murmured Juvia, peeking over Allen's shoulder.
"Master Allen, why that guild? I thought we weren't making alliances?" asked Wakaba, puffing on his pipe.
Allen nodded at the reasonable doubt. "Although not much is known about that guild, it's the closest one to Worth Woodsea. That's where we tracked Oración Seis. They're currently moving together, which isn't good news for anyone...
Allen looked around at everyone in the guild. "To be honest, Oración Seis is the weakest pillar of the Baram Alliance, even if all their mages are S-Class. But compared to Grimoire Heart and Tartaros, they're still weak. So I don't see the need to mobilize the whole guild... of course, I'll go personally in case something goes wrong and to deal with Brain, the Guild Master."
Makarov nodded. Even if the alliance had been formed, he would have sent only a small group. Now the most important thing remained: who would go? The Chat started betting on the members. In the original story, it was Natsu, Erza, Gray, and Lucy. Obviously, Lamia Scale and Blue Pegasus had sent their mages too, but this time it would only be Fairy Tail and Cait Shelter, which meant sending at least six wizards.
Allen closed his eyes, then opened them after making his decision. "So the ones who will go are..."
....
Some time later, outside the guild, everyone gathered to witness Natsu's misfortune. It was a familiar sight, though this time Laxus and Mystogan were also watching.
"Natsu, you have the important mission of going to the vanguard. I hope you don't lead us astray..." Allen smiled solemnly at a very nervous Natsu.
"Don't tell me...?" Natsu turned pale, since he had already lived through this once before, and it hadn't been pleasant at all.
"Hm?" Allen glanced at him out of the corner of his eye as if he didn't understand the question.
Natsu tried to escape, but Allen didn't let him, placing a firm hand on his shoulder.
"No! I don't want to be thrown again!" Natsu struggled, but Allen's hand was like a titanium clamp, refusing to let go.
"Give it up, Salamander..." Gajeel mocked, until one look from Allen made him shut up.
Allen gripped Natsu by the shoulders and looked him in the eye seriously.
"Natsu, you need to open your mind. Just think about it—we need to use our time wisely. Right now, they're probably neck-deep in their satanic ritual, or whatever kind of evil scheme they're pulling, which means they shouldn't know all their allied guilds have already been annihilated. Traveling by train isn't an option, it would take too long. I've never been to Worth Woodsea, so I can't teleport you there. And if they escape, it'll be nearly impossible to track them down again..."
"Don't lie to me! You just want to screw me over! That's the kind of guy you are!" Natsu wasn't dumb enough to swallow that nonsense.
Allen's expression became serious, his eyes sincere and firm. "I may not be the best person in the world... but in hard times I won't abandon my comrades, nor will I pull any stunts that put them in danger."
Natsu froze. The rest of the guild, who had only been laughing at Natsu's impending fate until now, also went silent. They remembered how Allen had acted during the Galuna Island incident, the Phantom Lord war, and the Tower of Heaven. It was true—he was a reliable wall who would fight anyone to help them. Though, they also remembered how much of a bastard he'd been during Laxus's rebellion.
"..." Natsu was a simple guy—he responded to sincerity with sincerity. Seeing Allen's serious look, he stopped struggling. Taking down Oración Seis was too important, not only for the guild's reputation but also because, without alliances, all the credit—or blame—would fall on Fairy Tail. On Allen Walker.
Natsu might be scared and itching to kick Allen in the face, but he also respected him—for his strength, his actions, and for being someone who would always stand to protect the guild. So, reluctantly, with a pale face, he nodded and accepted his fate.
Nobody in the guild blamed Natsu for being scared. Even if Natsu and Allen had kept quiet about last time, Happy, the treacherous little cat, had spilled the truth. Natsu's reaction wasn't exaggerated—the last time he'd been launched, he'd ended up in the hands of a giant perverted monkey that almost did unspeakable things to him. The trauma was real.
"Don't worry. This time, there are no perverted monkeys..." Allen said with a sincere smile, knowing exactly what was on Natsu's mind.
"..." Natsu decided to trust the bastard.
Of course, nobody in the guild believed Allen at this point. He was who he was. But Allen wasn't lying—he could be a bastard, but when danger was involved, he never played with his comrades' lives. Allen grabbed Natsu by the clothes and lifted him up.
"One-Man Army x49 Strength..."
Allen's muscles bulged as his body filled with brute force on the level of Hercules. Some girls blushed, while Cana smirked mysteriously. This time, Allen needed even more strength due to the distance involved.
He adjusted the direction, the necessary force for the throw, and layered protective spells on Natsu. Gathering all his strength, he prepared himself.
"Wait!" As if sensing his imminent doom, Natsu's survival instincts kicked in and—for once—his single brain cell worked overtime. "Allen, aren't you able to fly?! Why don't you just fly there yourself and teleport us afterward?!"
Natsu was illuminated by a brief moment of genius... but those hopes were crushed instantly.
"What did you say, Natsu?! Can't hear you, the signal's cutting out..."
You're standing right next to him!
The guild was left speechless...
Allen stomped the ground, making everything tremble, and hurled Natsu into the sky. He flew so fast that in less than a second he was nothing but a glimmer in the heavens.
"AAHHH!"
In no time, Natsu reached near space, gazing at the vast, breathtaking universe.
'Igneel... I'm sorry. Looks like I'm gonna die before I ever see you again...' Natsu thought, as if his mind were descending through the nine circles of hell.
He reentered the atmosphere at Mach 20, clearing the clouds in his path. Even with his Dragon Slayer body, crashing at that speed would kill him. But one of Allen's spells activated, gradually reducing his speed, while another spell shielded him from friction.
Even so, he still crashed into the forest with a massive impact, startling Wendy and Carla who were nearby.
"What was that?!" Wendy's big eyes blinked in shock.
"This is dangerous, it could be Oración Seis..." Carla became cautious. "Wendy, it's best if we go back, this is dangerous..."
"But we have to wait at these coordinates—according to the letter we received from Allen-san..."
Carla tried to stop her, but Wendy ran toward the source of the crash. When she arrived, she froze at the sight of smoke rising from a massive crater. What kind of attack could cause this?!
"Guess I should've used a spell to neutralize kinetic force too..."
Wendy's eyes widened as a young man with silver white hair emerged from the crater, carrying Natsu over his shoulder.
"You're..." Wendy blinked in disbelief. Before her stood the new master of Fairy Tail, the one who had defeated two Wizard Saints, the one who refused to obey even the Magic Council.
Allen saw Wendy's expression and found it adorable, so he extended his hand and gently patted her head.
"You must be Wendy Marvell... our reliable guide." Allen smiled. He wasn't about to doubt Wendy's skills just because of her appearance, so he treated her kindly.
"Huh?" Wendy felt warmth on her head and blushed. "It's an honor... You must be Allen Walker-sama..."
Allen chuckled. He knew his presence and fame couldn't be hidden anymore, so he was slowly giving up trying. He was even considering dropping his anti-charm spell altogether.
"No need to be polite just call me Allen or big brother..." Allen looked in a certain direction where there were only trees, but his eyes seemed to glimmer faintly, as if seeing straight through the forest. "Well... I guess it's time...?"
Wendy felt strange. This older brother figure was like looking up at a mountain, yet at the same time, he was so kind to her. For some reason, she felt happy.
Carla, on the other hand, felt a mix of danger and the contradictory urge to fly straight into Allen's arms. It unsettled her.
Allen always had a strange charm with animals—unicorns, griffins, phoenixes, even dragons were less hostile around him. He'd lost that when he accepted Void, but now that the light had returned to his eyes, so had that aura.
Carla snorted. She was stronger now, and a little charm wasn't enough to sway her. But Allen just laughed and petted her head, too. Wendy was left speechless—if it had been anyone else, proud Carla would have bitten them already, but this time she allowed it... even seemed to enjoy it.
'There are strange Ether currents in this forest...' Allen smirked, narrowing his eyes.
"Looks like these guys aren't planning anything good..." He chuckled and snapped his fingers. A large magic circle cube appeared on the ground behind him, growing until several people began materializing within it.
Wendy's eyes sparkled as Allen dropped Natsu, who woke up in a foul mood but didn't complain—he simply stood behind Allen with the others.
"Don't let your guard down because of the Guardian's and Knight's bracelets..." Allen began releasing his magical power, creating pressure throughout the forest. "Now then, Fairy Tail... It's time to crush these bastards."
"Yeah!" (x?)
....
"I can hear it... the sound of danger..." Cobra said, standing beside Brain, the Guild Master of Oración Seis.
"It must be that bastard Walker. No matter if he shows up—we'll destroy him," Brain sneered.
Everyone grinned as their magic power surged. It wasn't normal magic power—among it burned with "The fire of will". In other words, the power of Lucifer. And it wasn't just one or two of them—every member of Oración Seis carried Lucifer's power, raising their strength to the level of Wizard Saints!
A devastating war was about to erupt!

(A/N: The next part of the chapter does not have an exact chronology, but it occurred some night last month.)
(Marvel)
A beautiful blonde girl with clear eyes sat on a park bench with a big smile.
She was Gwen Stacy, also known as Spider Gwen. Of course, at this moment, she wasn't saving the day or catching criminals; she was just hanging out in the park.
"Oh look at that, it's so cute~" said a girl to her boyfriend as she saw Gwen on the bench. Of course, she wasn't talking about Gwen(though she was very beautiful) but about the plush toy resting on her lap — a chibi version of the most terrifying person in the world and, in turn, more beloved to her, Allen Walker.
"This is irritating..." said the plush toy — or rather Allen himself, whose consciousness was currently inside that big-eyed doll.
Gwen hugged Allen and lowered her head to look at him from above. Her cheeks were slightly red as she smirked teasingly. It was obvious she was enjoying the situation.
"You said I could choose, so don't complain~"
To not break his deal with Lucifer, Allen had to remain in Fairy Tail until reaching a certain point in the plot. The exact moment was unknown, since he had sealed his own memories of the agreement. But through a technicality, Allen could send his consciousness to another world and use an avatar... It wasn't the same for him as being with his loved ones in person, but it was better than nothing.
He did this every day when he slept, and that day he was with Gwen.
She knew Allen could create a miniature replica of himself, but she wanted him to become a plush toy instead. It was humiliating for him, though he endured it for Gwen, whom he not only loved but was eternally grateful to for putting up with a womanizer as absent as he was.
"Hehe don't worry, you can go back to being mini Allen~" Gwen said, satisfied after teasing him a bit.
"Mom, that big sis is talking to a stuffed animal..." said a little boy while eating a lollipop.
"Shhh, don't look at her!" his mother whispered back.
Gwen froze. She had been so focused on teasing Allen that she forgot people would think she was crazy if they saw her talking to a plush toy.
Gwen lowered her head, wanting to escape.
"Hey brat, I'm not a plushie, I'm a demon who devours spoiled kids and rude mothers..."
"Ahhh!"
"A ghost!"
Both mother and son ran away. Allen could have laughed at his girlfriend, but seeing her so embarrassed, he didn't. Instead, he defended her.
Gwen smiled sweetly and wrapped Allen in her arms.
"Thank you, I love you..."
"You don't need to thank me, it's my duty to protect you..."
Gwen carried Allen and, with a loving smile, kissed his forehead. Even if he was a plush toy and people stared at her weirdly, she no longer cared.

A/N: For the name Wendy's exceed I guess you can write it as Charles, but it sounds masculine, so another option is Carla or literally Sharuru, in the end I decided to go with Carla.
