Chapter 658: 658 Fairy Tail: A Prize or Punishment for Laki?, Impressing the Father-in-Law, From Decent Merchant to Maniacal Kidnapper and Wendy Marvell.

The dark guilds affiliated with Oración Seis were eliminated, their mages arrested on the spot, and everything was as precise as the cut of a scalpel.

Allen bit into a cookie that had been kindly given to him by Laki. She was still on his lap.

This girl was conflicted—on one hand, she had the rare opportunity to be alone with Allen, something that under normal circumstances would be impossible since some other girl would surely get in the way. On the other hand, she was about to die of embarrassment.

She didn't know how it had all ended up like that!

Laki had entered the office with a mischievous smile, approaching with a hint of boldness and flirting with Allen as usual. It wasn't anything extreme—a playful wink, touching her lips with her finger, leaning closer to him.

Of course, Laki wasn't like this with everyone. She was a simple, polite girl, but once she started feeling curiosity, admiration, and attraction toward Allen, she began acting that way. At first, it was embarrassing, but when she saw that Allen responded to her "flirting" with calmness and smiles, she grew frustrated, as if her feminine charm meant nothing. Laki had her pride, and she promised herself she wouldn't stop until she left Allen breathless with her allure.

From that moment on, Laki started getting used to the game, to the point of "accidentally" showing a bit of cleavage when serving him coffee and letting her skirt lift slightly when only Allen could see. However, no matter what she did, she couldn't get Allen interested.

This day was supposed to be just like any other…

Laki entered while Allen was reviewing documents. Seeing him so focused, her heart raced—for when Allen wasn't being an asshole, he was mature and attractive –Even though she used her anti-charm spell–.

Laki felt annoyed; she was wearing a cute uniform that even Mirajane had praised, but apparently, it meant nothing to Allen.

– 'What's wrong with this guy? You'd think he's a pervert thirsty for pretty girls, but he doesn't even look at me!', thought the girl at the time. –

Laki still had a fresh memory of Cana confessing that she had "slept" with Allen, which only added jealousy to the mix.

That thought was her mistake. In her frustration, Laki spoke a phrase that condemned her.

– "Am I not pretty enough for you to eat me?" –

Laki turned bright red the instant she said the most shameless line she could ever imagine, and she wanted to run out and throw herself off a bridge. But before she could do anything, Allen grabbed her arm, pulled her onto his lap, and stroked her head, telling her she was a beautiful girl. He apologized, saying that being a man already surrounded by women, he didn't want to be an even bigger bastard by putting his hands on her.

Laki was petrified, dazed, and embarrassed, and had no idea what to do. Allen smiled and asked her to feed him like a professional Maid. Not knowing how to refuse, Laki began doing so—and that led to the current situation.

Laki watched Allen eat what she gave him, and in the midst of all that embarrassment, she felt happy for some reason.

...

"Allen..."

Makarov entered the office with a serious expression. However, it broke instantly when he saw what was happening.

"You too, Laki?!" Makarov exclaimed. He couldn't believe that after Mirajane, Erza, Lucy, and Juvia, yet another girl was interested in Allen. What was worse was that since Allen had returned from Akane Resort, he had become bolder with his relationships.

"I'm sorry!"

Laki panicked and tried to stand up, but Allen didn't let her. Not knowing what else to do, Laki buried her head in Allen's chest.

"Tsk, whatever..."

Makarov had never scolded Loke for his relationships with multiple girlfriends—it would be hypocritical to do so with Allen. But since Allen only seemed to go after Fairy Tail girls, it was quite uncomfortable for everyone to see him acting this way.

Makarov walked over to the couch and sat down, sipping a cup of tea to relax.

"I still can't believe you managed to eradicate all the dark guilds under Oración Seis..."

"Didn't you like my plan?"

Makarov had already thought about it. In these cases, it was normal to attack Oración Seis directly, but doing so would have driven all the dark guilds into hiding. It was a clever plan—the guilds under the Baram Alliance were arrogant, backed by such powerful groups that even the Magic Council didn't want to deal with them. That arrogance made them easy to catch off guard.

"Besides, as powerful as Oración Seis may be, they have very few mages, which makes tracking them down much easier..."

For a hunter, it's far easier to catch three arrogant wolves than to chase after a hundred panicked rats. Allen didn't want to just eliminate Oración Seis, only to let another guild take their place in the future.

It was a total purge...

Makarov glanced at Allen, a bead of sweat running down his temple. This young man had managed to do in just a few days what he himself hadn't accomplished in ten years. The real problem was that dark guilds were slippery—destroy one, and the rest would go on high alert, moving their bases or going underground.

"I understand you got the information from Naked Mummy and then visited two more dark guilds that they themselves revealed, but I don't understand what you were doing in Acalypha. There hasn't been a job there in over a month..."

"..."

Allen stayed silent after hearing Makarov's words. His mind began replaying, image by image, what had happened that day—including the comments from the chat at that moment.

....

(Days earlier)

Allen stood in front of a merchant guild, Love & Lucky, with a confident smile.

"Young man..." said the voice of a man at his side.

Without turning, Allen shook his head. "Call me Allen, Jude... technically, we'll be family."

Jude Heartfilia remained silent, watching Allen. This young man used to seem more serious and responsible, but upon meeting him again, Jude felt a strange impression. Still, since Allen kept his promise of looking after Lucy, Jude decided to ignore it. As for why they were here, the two of them were simply trying to make some extra money.

Allen had a habit of amassing a good amount of wealth in every world—not because he was obsessed with money, but because he still carried the trauma of having been in debt to the dolls. On top of that, he was fully aware that being a man with a harem wasn't cheap. Even though many of his girlfriends were independent, as the man of the house he had to prove he could give his family a good life.

With that in mind, and with many girls just a step away from commitment, he decided not to rely solely on his mage job earnings.

And who better for this situation than Jude Heartfilia—who, before being scammed in shady businesses, had amassed a massive fortune.

"Are you sure this is going to work?" Jude asked, looking at the suitcase full of potions and magical artifacts that Allen had deemed "moderate successes," which was a polite way of saying they were crap.

"Jude-kun, where's your spirit?!" Allen crossed his arms, then smirked smugly. "You're supposed to be the businessman who built a fortune. How can you have so little confidence? I assure you, we'll sell this crap. You just have to smile, show some attitude, and make them see that they need our product... We have to get into their minds...!"

"Sounds like manipulation and fraud..."

"Haha, nonsense! We're the good guys, this is just… alternative persuasion."

"..." Jude smiled awkwardly. From what he understood, Allen had spent a lot of money on plants and minerals for forging and alchemy. The successful potions had gone to the guild, the ones with "interesting" effects were stored away, but the ones that turned out relatively well—or relatively bad, depending on perspective—were hundreds of thousands of Jewels wasted. Allen took advantage of Jude looking for work to suggest they try selling them.

Altoria – It's true, I once saw him break a guy's leg for pushing an old lady...

Eve – Exactly, like when he nearly gave Mr. Art a heart attack for not paying his taxes lol

Amanda – I enjoyed watching him convince Isotope to stop committing crimes Haha...

Natasha – I don't even know how he convinced me to let him date several girls at once~

"By the way, did you just call your failed potions crap?"

"No, of course not."

"..."

"Okay, I did. But that's only from my perspective, as someone who only wants the highest quality for my potions. Even my crap is gold to the rest of the world..." Allen said proudly, without the slightest bit of shame, even while admitting he was trying to sell defective products to a merchant guild.

Jude began sweating. No wonder Allen had come to Acalypha instead of selling them in Magnolia.

"Trust me, it's nothing dangerous. For example..." Allen snapped his fingers, and a potion from the suitcase teleported into his hand. "This digestive potion really does take away stomach pain... with the small side effect of explosive diarrhea an hour later... cough"

Allen snapped his fingers again, and another potion appeared. "Look, this one really can neutralize poison... only with the tiny flaw that your skin turns green, you go bald, and you develop the absurd urge to eat bugs, bathe in mud, and rescue princesses... nothing major."

You're a demon!

Jude couldn't believe Allen was capable of selling such malevolent potions.

Ignoring Jude's nervous look, Allen took the initiative to enter the guild with a smile.

"Good Mo–..."

"PUT ALL THE MONEY IN THE BAG!"

"I want potions, high-quality magic tools, and every valuable material you've got!"

"Huh?" Allen blinked twice to make sure his eyes weren't deceiving him—and they weren't. Right in front of him, a robbery was taking place.

A group of men with magical weapons had all the employees and customers tied up hand and foot on the floor. The robbers also taped their mouths shut.

"Allen-kun!" Jude instantly grew nervous, unaccustomed to a situation like this.

With a serious, expressionless look, Allen walked toward the leader of the robbery.

"Who are you?! Get on the ground!" The dark mage grew nervous when he saw that Allen wasn't obeying. "What's your problem?! Do you want to die?!"

Ignoring Jude's incredulous expression, the terrified faces of the employees, and all the weapons pointed at him, Allen kept walking.

Wednesday – The human mind is very interesting. For example, common sense is built through countless everyday experiences and knowledge... it works as one of the mechanisms the brain uses to understand situations. But when something goes beyond common sense... the mind doesn't know how to deal with it...

Allen stood in front of the dark mage and, to everyone's disbelief, slapped him across the face. The thief was stunned, staring at Allen in confusion. When he tried to speak, Allen slapped him again—this time breaking two of his teeth and throwing him to the ground.

No one could understand what had just happened...

Allen took a deep breath and then shouted angrily: "Son of a bitch! You had to rob this place today?! Don't you have any consideration for honest, hardworking people just trying to earn their bread?!"

Weren't we here to sell... defective products? Jude trembled, struggling to comprehend the amount of shamelessness a person must have had to act like Allen.

"What are you doing?! Kill him!" shouted the dark mage.

The others pointed their weapons at Allen, but he, feeling offended, glared at them with annoyance.

"One-Man Army, x10 speed..."

He disappeared, and in less than a second, all the men were lying on the ground with broken bones.

One of the magic shotguns flew toward Jude, who caught it purely by reflex. As the chaos ended, Allen grabbed another weapon and pointed it at the head of the kneeling dark mage—the only one not writhing on the ground in pain.

"Don't kill me! I'm just following orders, I never meant to offend you!"

"Huh?! I don't feel any sincerity in those words. Just a moment ago you seemed pretty determined to kill me..."

"No, no, no! How could I ever think such a thing!" The man began crying, banging his forehead against the floor.

Allen put his foot on the dark wizard's head with contempt, "You're not sorry enough..."

Just as Allen was about to hit him again, three guards burst in, instantly forming magic circles with their hands, ready to attack.

"Stop right there! Drop your weapons and get on your knees!"

Allen and Jude froze. Were they... being arrested? Jude stiffly turned his head and analyzed the scene. He and Allen were both holding weapons. Jude, with his dirty clothes and unshaven face, didn't exactly look like a respectable businessman. Meanwhile, Allen had his foot on the head of a man begging for his life in tears. To make matters worse, the employees—gagged and tied—looked horrified.

Jude went pale. No matter how you looked at it, they were the criminals!

"Calm down, gentlemen... I know how this must look," Allen said in a soothing tone.

"What a monster... he broke that man's arm..." one guard muttered.

"Look at him, stomping on their heads—he's a psychopath!"

"Who are you calling a psychopath?!" Allen vanished and reappeared in front of the guard, punching him square in the face. "A..."

"Damned bastard!"

"How dare you?!"

The other two guards attacked, but Allen had no choice but to knock them unconscious. Once it was over, he turned to Jude with an empty smile.

"Hehe... well, at least you won't have to worry about food or shelter anymore, Jude-kun. I heard in prison they serve chicken pie on Fridays..."

"#$&£!"

....

Allen peeked through a crack in the window and saw a group of heavily armed guards waiting for orders.

"What do we do?!" Jude shouted. He had already lost his fortune, but at least he'd had his freedom to start over. Now he was about to be arrested. "Ah! This can't be happening! This is the end!"

"Calm down!" Allen slapped him. Jude grabbed his cheek in disbelief—how could Allen treat his own future father-in-law like that?

"Jude-kun, you're panicking. In situations like this, the most important thing is to stay calm and act with composure... don't worry, I have a plan."

Allen smiled with such confidence that Jude, against his better judgment, relaxed and decided to trust him. As for the Chat, the transmission cut off, so no one saw what the plan was until it unfolded.

...

(Five minutes later...)

The guild door burst open with a loud kick. Allen and Jude walked out with ski masks on their heads, holding two of the dark mages at gunpoint like real criminals.

"Nobody move, or these hostages die!"

Rick – Hahaha, I can't believe it, you're the best!

Rouge – Spit That's the plan?! Hahaha!

Rebecca – Oh God, brilliant! Hahaha!

Harley – As expected from Daddy! Hahaha!

Amanda – Hahaha, did you really go this far?!

MJ – This plan is either genius or really stupid! Hahaha!

...

Allen acted like a true lunatic, glaring at everyone with the look of a dangerous psychopath who would pull the trigger at the slightest provocation. For added realism, he even had foam spilling from his mouth, as if he had licked a poisonous frog.

The soldiers were horrified. They had never seen such a deranged, psychotic maniac.

"Help!" the dark mage wailed pitifully, snot dripping from his nose as he wet himself. The sight angered the guards and bystanders.

"What a monster!"

"How dare he treat that poor man like this?!"

Jude, on the other hand, had no idea what was happening. How did I suddenly become a terrorist?!

"Let him go!" shouted one of the guards, terrified that Allen might do something insane.

"Shut up, all of you!" Allen slammed the butt of his weapon against his own head, as if fighting the voices in his mind.

The guards recoiled in fear—someone this deranged could do anything.

"Hyaahhh!" Allen let out a maniacal squeal.

"Fine, you win!"

The guards lowered their weapons. They weren't prepared to face such a deranged monster, not if it meant risking the life of that poor man.

Allen smirked and looked smugly at Jude, as if to say, 'I told you so. ' Jude began questioning his own sanity, but since he didn't want to end up in prison, he followed Allen.

As they passed by, Allen noticed one of the guards giving the dark mage a look full of compassion. The mage returned it with puppy-like eyes.

Maybe there was some kind of romantic connection between them or something, Allen thought, while the Chat exploded in laughter.

Once they were far enough, Allen released the hostage, grabbed Jude, and flew away.

Allen landed on the outskirts and removed his ski mask.

"See? I told you I had a plan," Allen said with a smile.

"That's what you call a plan?!" Jude couldn't hold it in anymore and exploded.

"I said I had a plan, not that it was a good one." Allen shrugged. "In the end, it worked, didn't it?"

Jude stared seriously at him. "Tell me the truth. Was that the only way? Answer me!"

Allen scratched his cheek. "Well... maybe, there were a couple of other methods"

In reality, he had about twenty different ways to get out of that situation.

...

(Present time...)

Allen hadn't left Acalypha immediately. Instead, he followed the dark mage, who—thanks to the guard's help—had been freed after being rescued from the "maniac." That mage then led him to Naked Mummy, and the story unfolded as it was meant to.

"Allen?" Makarov looked at him, confused. Allen had fallen silent after being asked what he was doing in Acalypha.

"I was there by coincidence..." Allen replied with the most shameless/serious expression in the world. He would take that secret to his grave.

Allen helped Laki off his lap, then gazed out the window in silence before speaking.

"Phase one is complete. It's time to head to Cait Shelter..."

...

In the middle of the forest, a blue-haired girl stared at the horizon, her face full of anticipation.

"Aren't you a little too excited, Wendy?" asked a white cat beside her, similar to Happy.

"Hehe, is that so, Charles?" Wendy looked at her close friend and companion before returning her gaze to the horizon. "Well, it's Fairy Tail... I've always wanted to meet them~"

When Wendy first learned from her Guild Master that the alliance had fallen through, she was disappointed. But hearing that Fairy Tail had still asked for their support filled her with joy.

"Natsu-san... Gajeel-san... both are Dragon Slayers, like me..."

"Wendy, don't get your hopes up too much..."

"I know~" Wendy laughed softly. "Besides, I also want to meet the older brother everyone talks about..."

"No!" Charles shook her little paws. "You absolutely cannot get involved with that man!"

"Charles?" Wendy blinked in surprise.

"That man is evil, a pervert! They say he brainwashes girls into joining his harem. You mustn't get involved with him!"

A bead of sweat rolled down Wendy's forehead. "Aren't those just rumors?"

Of course, she didn't believe it. She still wanted to meet the guild master she admired so much.
