Chapter 641: 641 Fairy Tail: Chase in Margaret Town, Allen's Head is Priced, The Harvest Festival and Laxus Almost Killed Gajeel.

The streets were full of life, the air thick with noise, people bustling all around. This was the vibrant Margaret Town. But our story takes us to a more secluded place.

It was dark and empty, narrow, and carried that damp, stinging smell that tickles the nose—just one of many alleyways in the city.

"Damn it!"

The man's curse shattered the silence. He was sprinting down the alley as if running from the devil himself. His eyes were filled with fear, his mouth open as he gasped for air, and the cold sweat on his brow was clear proof he was in danger. But one more detail stood out—he clutched a sack in his arms like it was the most important thing in the world.

*Fwoosh*

He heard the sound of the air catching fire. Looking back, he saw a cloud of white fire expanding toward him. He ran faster and turned sharply into another alley. The flames didn't follow. He could breathe for a moment.

But the moment he turned around—he was struck square in the face and slammed into a brick wall. Step by step the man looked the nightmare in the face.

"Gah! Damn!"

He didn't lose consciousness, nor did he give up. He rose again with a determined look, knowing he couldn't escape.

"Requip: Paladin Armor!"

"How ironic—a thief with paladin armor?"

The man ignored Allen's mocking tone, drew a sword, and charged. The blade cut through the air, accelerating straight toward Allen.

It wasn't just any armor—it enhanced the wearer's physical abilities, boasted high magic resistance, and the sword's edge was magically sharpened.

"I know someone who uses the same kind of magic..." Allen raised his hand and stopped the metal blade with two fingers."...But their skill level is far beyond yours."

"...!"

The man's eyes widened—not just because his attack had been stopped so easily—but because he saw the flash of a halberd right above him, about to strike.

'Who are you...?' was his last thought before he lost consciousness.

The halberd cut him in half, or so it must have happened but there was no blood or Gore.

"..." Allen stared at him. He wasn't dead—what was cut wasn't flesh, but awareness.

He looked at the halberd. Its hilt was white, its blade gray, and a golden engraving ran along its edge. Allen spun it once before it transformed into a greatsword.

When he first received his Innocence, the name "Clown Crown" was given to its trench coat form. When it became a greatsword, Allen named it Crown Saber—though even now, he has no idea where it truly came from.

'Since it was reforged, it feels different… freer... but also like it's become something else entirely...'

> [Host: "Request" completed successfully]

> [Mysterious Thief Request – In Margaret Town, a thief is hiding with a highly valuable item stolen from someone important. Locate him—it is of utmost importance. Reward: +1,000,000 Jewels | Bonus: High-Speed Magic (Intermediate) | Chest of Alchemy Herbs | Chest of Forging Materials]

---

Rick – That was so boring! Who was the idiot who said to use a halberd?

Hestia – That was you...

Raven – Putting that aside, isn't using fire in the middle of a city a bit reckless?

MJ – Seriously, is this the best you guys can do? Hehe...

Amanda – You all lack imagination...

Allen smirked. "Come on guys, everyone used to be bigger motherfuckers~"

Tony – You're pissing me off, just wait for next time!

Allen just laughed at the threats.

As for what was going on—it all started when someone in the Chat suggested Allen test the limits of Clown Crown now that it had been reforged.

As a result, Allen let the Chat decide how to handle some simple missions. The weirdest suggestion? A halberd and fire. So, Allen transformed Clown Crown into a flamethrower. Since it was now a magic artifact, it no longer broke Lucifer's rules—no matter what form it took.

Because of that, Allen was free to use it however he liked. What was most impressive wasn't just that it could change into all kinds of weapons, or even alter their size—but that it could also become firearms without any restrictions.

"Quit whining and do better next time... if you can."

Allen's smug grin made the Chat explode in curses. But that only made it more fun for him.

He picked up the thief's sack, curious about what was inside, and cast Auris Arcanum.

When he saw its contents, his eyes widened in surprise.

"Mr. Walker..."

Allen turned to see a squad of Rune Knights standing nearby. Not surprising, considering how flashy he had been chasing the thief.

"We'll take it from here," said the man who looked like their captain.

"There you go."

Allen tossed them the bag without asking why a petty thief had paladin-grade armor or why the Rune Knights were involved.

Maybe it was something to do with the nobility, or even the royal family.

"The stolen item has been recovered and the thief apprehended," one of the knights confirmed.

The captain stared at Allen for a moment before turning away.

"That was a clean job... for someone from Fairy Tail."

Allen frowned. "Oh? And what's that supposed to mean?"

"Exactly what I said. Your guild's known for leveling houses and buildings like it's breakfast."

"..."

Allen couldn't deny that. So he turned around and left—it was time to meet up with the girls.

"Allen Walker..."

"What?" he paused, not turning back.

"Consider this a Bonus for an exceptional outcome—but there's a bounty on your head among the dark guilds."

"..." Allen wasn't surprised.

In fact, he found it strange that it took them so long to act. Maybe it had something to do with being in Fairy Tail? No... he'd met mercenary mages, assassins, and members of dark guilds. Judging from their attitude toward Fairy Tail, most people mocked or looked down on them. Or maybe... it was just envy.

Allen shrugged, "Let them come get me..."

.....

(Ten minutes later)

Allen sat on a bench, milkshake in hand, waiting for the others. As usual, his team had a peculiar way of doing things—accepting missions in the same region or city, traveling there together, then splitting up to complete their tasks. If help was needed, they could just call for backup.

It wasn't long before he saw Lucy approaching—completely covered in ash. She collapsed to her knees and clung to Allen's leg, teary-eyed.

"A-Allen..."

"Lucy... weren't you just supposed to find a cat?" Allen gently wiped her face.

"It's just...!"

Lucy had found the cat thanks to Plue, who sniffed out the collar given by the owner. But the cat refused to be caught and bolted. Lucy chased it across the rooftops, but stepped wrong on a tile and fell... straight down a chimney.

"So embarrassing!!" Lucy sobbed, clinging tightly to Allen.

"What matters is that you're okay..." Allen comforted her, patting her head—even if he was trying not to laugh inside.

"Allen-sama!" Juvia arrived with a bag in hand.

"Welcome, Juvia. I guess your request went well?"

"Yes~! Mission success!"

Juvia had taken a delivery mission from Magnolia to Margaret Town, so it hadn't been complicated at all.

"Allen-sama," Juvia blushed, fiddling with her fingers, "Juvia was wondering if she might get... a reward of some kind~"

"Hey, no cheating! You already got paid!" Lucy had recovered from her earlier depression and stood up, ready to confront Juvia for trying to get extra rewards.

"Ara, Lucy, you look awful. You must have suffered a lot in your mission~" Juvia teased.

Lucy snorted and reached into Juvia's bag, pulling out a brand-new bikini. Juvia's face turned bright red with both embarrassment and anger.

"What about this, pervert? Is this the reward you were hoping for, or were you planning to demand something indecent?!"

"Shut up!"

The two girls were about to start fighting again, but Erza appeared out of nowhere, grabbing them both by the collars like misbehaving kittens.

"You two need to calm down."

"Erza... she started it!"

"Me? Who was the shameless one asking for a reward?!"

Erza frowned, and the tension between the two instantly vanished. She then let them go and sat down next to Allen. Without any shame, Allen pulled her closer, to Erza's stunned expression.

"What?"

"Don't tell me this wasn't your plan. You're not even wearing armor..."

Caught red-handed, Erza blushed but didn't move away. Instead, she leaned comfortably against Allen. Lucy and Juvia fumed at the sight, but managed to hold back their rage. They remembered the agreement they'd made: whoever made progress with Allen would be respected by the others, so they wouldn't end up fighting every time.

"Erza, how did it go?"

"I defeated the dark mage... but I ended up bringing down the entire church," Erza said proudly.

Allen said nothing.

---

Akeno – Ufufu~ Even though Erza-chan is supposed to be the strictest and responsible, she still leaves destruction wherever she goes~

Annie – That's not funny. Did she just say she destroyed a whole church? What, was she fighting Godzilla?

Gwen – Honestly, we can't blame the Rune Knights anymore... they're right.

---

With the four of them reunited, they began the trip back to Magnolia—but not before returning to the church, where Allen rebuilt it with Kurumi's help.

"Ara ara, you only call me for things like this. You make me feel... used~" Kurumi said, grabbing Allen by the collar.

"You're right, I'm sorry. I'll start calling you for other things more often..." Allen smiled mysteriously as he gently took Kurumi's hand.

"Master is such a pervert~" Kurumi giggled. By now, it seemed she didn't dislike Allen as much as she used to—at least she could joke around with him.

Allen smiled shamelessly. "All I said was I'd call you more often. Did Miss Tokisaki have... something else in mind?"

They both laughed.

The strange flirtation between Kurumi and Allen didn't go unnoticed. Juvia leaned toward Lucy and asked her opinion, but Lucy just looked away awkwardly—making Juvia even more suspicious.

Erza also observed quietly. "There's no way Allen is perverted enough to seduce a spirit... right?"

Due to the incompatibility between spirits and humans, it was unlikely that any serious relationship could form. Still, the girls couldn't help but suspect something was going on. Allen's bond with his spirits was just... too close. Sometimes they didn't act like partners—they acted like couples. Especially with 2B, who spent the most time in this world.

"We'd better go now I don't want Lamia Scale to get nervous."

Allen cleared his throat and led the girls to the train station for the trip back. From time to time, he used the train—not because he needed to, but because it gave the girls a chance to relax and enjoy the ride together.

The rest of the trip passed peacefully until Allen stood up to go to the restroom. The moment he changed cars, silence fell.

Allen disappeared—then reappeared, slamming a man's face against the wall. The man was instantly rendered unconscious.

"Invisibility magic?" Allen muttered, tossing the man off the train. "So there really is a price on my head..."

He chuckled to himself. Do these people even know what they're getting into trying to kill me? Or are they just trying to be annoying?

Allen turned around and came back with a casual smile on his face.

"Erza?"

When he returned, he found Erza dressed in a gothic outfit, her hair tied up in a ponytail. Her eyes sparkled, waiting for a compliment.

"You look beautiful... and cute, all at once," Allen said, sitting next to her in the cabin.

Steam puffed from Erza's head as she quickly turned toward the window. She was happy, but her heart still wasn't ready for this kind of emotional pressure. Even she didn't know where she'd found the courage to be so bold at that hotel.

Lucy and Juvia clenched their teeth, jealous of Erza's magic that gave her an entire wardrobe at a moment's notice.

As mentioned before, magic in this world was very accessible. Anyone—including Allen—could buy Requip magic like Erza and Biska, Solid Script like Levy, or even Celestial Magic like Lucy.

But buying the magic didn't mean you'd have the same skill level or growth.

Erza's magic, for example, was technically common, but what made her terrifying was her ability to swap armors instantly, and the large size of her spatial storage. She could carry a hundred armors at once, ready for battle—and she had space for casual wear, too.

"You look great, but what's with the outfit change?" Allen asked.

"I... I was planning to wear this at the beauty contest during the Harvest Festival..." Erza replied shyly, though her true goal wasn't the prize—it was to show her charm to "a certain man" without the embarrassment of doing it privately.

"Ah!" Lucy jumped up. "I almost forgot—the festival is coming up!"

Juvia and Allen exchanged glances. Neither of them had heard anything about it, but that was nothing new.

"Juvia only heard rumors..."

"Hmm..." Allen looked at Lucy's excitement and Erza's proud smile. It looked like something interesting. In a world of magic, surely this wouldn't be an ordinary event.

After several days of missions, they finally returned to Magnolia. Juvia, Lucy, and Allen were surprised by the change.

"Amazing..." Lucy gasped.

There were decorations everywhere—balloons, flowers—it was not a small event. The entire city was preparing for the Harvest Festival.

"Umu! Very nice! But nothing compares to the main event: 'Fantasia!' And you're all participating!"

Lucy's eyes lit up, "Really?!"

Erza gave a thumbs up, "Of course!"

Allen smiled at the sight of Lucy. She had bad luck since coming to Fairy Tail, she has found herself in many dangerous situations, even as a novice mage.

She deserves to have a day of peace.

....

Meanwhile, in another part of the city, Levy sat trembling as she watched Gajeel being held by the head—by Laxus.

"I'm disappointed in you, Walker... When you first came, you were a cold, ruthless bastard. Your eyes were filled with the determination to stain the ground with blood if that's what it took to reach your goals. But now? All I see is a soft idiot, seduced by Fairy Tail's weakness. YOU EVEN RECRUIT TRASH LIKE THIS INTO THE GUILD?! I WON'T LET YOU TURN MY GUILD INTO THIS!"

Laxus was prideful, but he also hated how Makarov was running Fairy Tail. If he were in charge, no one would dare insult them. No one would challenge them. Not even the Magic Council would treat them like pests. Laxus believed that under his rule, Fairy Tail would become the strongest guild on the entire continent.

He threw Gajeel's broken body to the ground and walked away. Jet and Droy didn't dare stop him—they just watched him leave.

Levy stood up and wrote "Help" with her Solid Script magic, launching the word into the sky, hoping someone would see it—especially Allen.

"I didn't think Laxus would go this far..." Droy muttered, looking at Gajeel, who was covered in serious wounds.

"No matter how much he hated the guy... he didn't deserve this..."

"Don't worry," Levy said, her expression hardening. "Allen will help him..."

Jet and Droy exchanged glances—then smiled bitterly, reluctantly admitting she was probably right.
