Chapter 638: 638 Fairy Tail: The Surrender of Ikaruga, The End of the Tower In Heaven, A Naked Chase and Another Tragedy for Natsu.
The sight of Mirajane and Allen embracing had left the whole place silent.
Lucy and Juvia exchanged glances before rushing toward him, throwing their arms around him in a tight embrace, they didn't want Mirajane alone to hug him.
Erza, on the other hand, stayed quiet for a moment. Then she closed her eyes and opened them again with a soft smile.
"Allen-sama!"
"Allen, are you okay?"
With both girls clinging to him, Allen nearly lost his balance, which made Mirajane giggle as her mood lightened.
"I'm fine. Seems like things got a bit complicated. I didn't expect Erza's friends to be under control…" Allen glanced at Wally and Sho, who, for some reason, couldn't move. He gave them a half-smile. "It's a shame… to see you end up like this after being deceived…"
Allen's eyes glowed, shattering Vidaldus Taka's control. Wally and Sho collapsed to their knees, gasping for air.
"Impossible!" Vidaldus screamed, unable to contain his shock. His magic wasn't unbreakable, but for it to be dispelled that easily was absurd.
Ikaruga's eyes widened as beads of sweat slid down her face. If he's here… does that mean Jellal lost? Is that even possible? He was a Saint Wizard! Ikaruga licked her lips with a faint smile. Earlier, she had told Erza she would "taste" him as a joke, but now the idea didn't sound bad at all.
"Well?" Allen asked, his voice calm as he faced Ikaruga and Vidaldus.
Sensing the shift in his intent, Lucy, Juvia, and Mirajane immediately stepped back, giving him room to turn around and walk toward the pair.
Ikaruga smiled provocatively, her cheeks tinged pink. Now that she could really look at him, she realized he was so handsome that for a moment she forgot he was her enemy. His presence was captivating, his appearance dazzling, and his eyes…
"…!" Her breath hitched. Her thoughts froze. Her body tensed, her throat dried. She had foolishly thought she could play around without knowing what she was facing. But the moment she felt him—the moment she truly saw him—that arrogant thought died instantly.
Don't fight. Fight for your life. Don't move. Move. Breathe. Don't breathe. Run. Don't run. Surrender... Contradictory and chaotic thoughts flooded her mind.
He wasn't hostile. He wasn't angry. He didn't radiate killing intent. He didn't even acknowledge her as an opponent. He simply walked toward her casually, nothing more… and yet, Ikaruga could barely breathe. Her pupils shrank. Her face turned pale.
With every step closer, she felt her blood, her body, and her soul plunge into an icy abyss. It was death. And despite being unafraid of dying, despite living as an assassin prepared for a miserable end… at that moment, she admitted it. She had to.
She was scared. Terrified of the young man in front of her.
"Ahh!" In a desperate attempt, Ikaruga drew her nodachi so fast and so hard that sparks flew from the sheath. It was her fastest strike ever, the absolute peak of her swordsmanship. The blade cut through the air—
And in that instant, beyond even her own reaction time, she saw a glint. A fragment of her nodachi shattered.
"…?!" Her mouth opened, but no words came out. Only a strangled breath scraped her throat. Gripping her sword tightly, she realized—she had never unsheathed it. It had all been in her head. Everything was an illusion her own mind created.
All her years mastering the Mugetsu-Ryū—the Sky Without Moon Style—told her the truth. The vast, abysmal difference between them.
She concluded instantly.
Without hesitation, Ikaruga removed her nodachi from her belt and knelt, placing it aside.
"I-I surrender…" the woman said, her trembling voice betraying the fear in her eyes.
"Ikaruga, what the hell are you doing?!" Vidaldus yelled, enraged by her surrender. "I won't! I'll show him my—"
His words were cut short when his head was slammed into the ground with such force that the entire tower shook. It happened so fast that even Ikaruga, proud of her sword speed, went pale.
"Idiot… you could never win…" she muttered, shaking her head.
Allen stopped holding Vidaldus's face, stood up, and walked toward Erza. He was momentarily surprised to see her attire. She wasn't wearing armor, but rather a peculiar outfit—baggy red ceremonial-style pants, her chest wrapped in bandages, and two katanas at her side.
"Erza?"
Feeling his gaze, Erza immediately covered her chest, flustered. "T-This has an explanation! She was too fast and strong, so I decided to give up on defense…"
Allen smirked, making her even more nervous as she scrambled for excuses. The closer he got, the more Erza backed away, not even understanding why she was so embarrassed. She had worn far more revealing outfits without batting an eye.
"Wait! What are you going to do?!"
Allen didn't answer. He stepped in front of her without pause and wrapped her in a sudden embrace.
Erza froze. Her face turned as red as her hair. Her heart pounded so fast it felt like it might burst. He didn't care about her state or her appearance—he just wanted to hug her. Erza trembled, unsure whether to return the hug or die of embarrassment with all the other girls watching.
Allen pulled back with a mischievous grin. "What's wrong? Don't I at least deserve this much for everything I went through to get you back?"
"You—!"
Allen leaned in, his lips brushing her ear. "You don't have to be embarrassed. We've done far more embarrassing things, haven't we?"
Erza, who had been tense and burdened with worries, hadn't realized it until now. She had done ridiculous things… like what happened back in that resort room.
The memory hit her like a truck.
Her face burned hotter. A puff of steam practically came out of her head as her knees gave out and she fainted straight into Allen's arms.
Catching her gently. "Well, she's been under a lot of stress with everything that's happened…"
He couldn't help but laugh under his breath. Teasing Erza was always fun because of how ridiculously awkward she was about these things.
Slowly, Allen's cloak faded away, and the glow in his hair and eyes dimmed back to normal. Though in this state, it might have been worse, because when he smiled at the girls, Juvia fainted on the spot, Lucy clutched her chest and avoided his gaze, and Mirajane turned away with a flustered expression.
Allen shrugged, then looked up at the night sky. The moon hung high above them. The incident was over. It was time to go back.
"It's been a busy day…"
(One hour later…)
Everyone returned to Akane Resort, where the Rune Knights were waiting. There were explanations to give, though Allen accused them of nearly killing him with that giant cannon. When they learned even Etherion couldn't kill Allen, the council didn't know how to react, though they apologized.
Allen decided to put all the blame on Jellal—who turned out to be Siegrain. The council fell into chaos upon realizing they'd been manipulated by an enemy. With that, no one knew that Erza's friends were accomplices of Jellal. But those who were not so lucky were Vidaldus and Fukuro, who were handed over to the Rune Knights, with no mercy for either. One wanted to kill Mirajane, and the other wanted to control Lucy and Juvia... As for Ikaruga, who surrendered, Allen has other plans.
At first, Erza wanted to bring them to Fairy Tail, but they all refused. Wally wanted to find his brother. Simon was searching for his younger sister. Millianna and Sho wanted to travel and see the vast world they had missed after being trapped in the Tower of Heaven.
Erza found her own path too, so she didn't stop them. She was sincerely happy that things ended well.
However, one thing caught her attention: before leaving, Simon asked to speak privately with Allen. She never found out what he said, but Allen simply told her not to worry.
Lucy, Erza, Juvia, Mirajane, and Allen spent a few more days at Akane Resort before heading home.
....
...
....
(Days later...)
It was early in the morning, with sunlight streaming through the window. Erza snorted because even for someone as strict as her, there were days when she didn't want to get up early.
No, it was precisely on these days that she could relax like this, and all because the great weight on her shoulders had disappeared.
Erza smiled and stretched her hand across the bed as if searching for something, but upon feeling nothing but emptiness, she frowned and opened her eyes. The girl sat up, holding the sheet that covered her naked body. She scanned her room once more as if trying to find something... or someone, but there was no one.
"..."
Erza puffed her cheek slightly, irritated about something, but soon she smiled and let out a small laugh. Then she stood up and walked to the window. The sheet slid down, revealing her body, though no one was able to witness such this beautiful girl.
Erza looked up at the sky and down at the street. Being on the top floor, she could see people living their daily lives since it was already close to nine.
"I overslept…" Erza blushed as she remembered something, but immediately noticed a note on her tea table. Reading it, she couldn't help but smile again.
– "No more alcohol for a month for you, young lady." –
Erza remembered how, in these past days, she had felt more liberated and even gotten drunk at the guild. No one could understand how terrifying it was to see Erza acting like that. In the end, the one who suffered the most was Allen, who had to carry her home. The girl had refused to let him leave, forcing him to sleep with her.
"Nothing else happened… right?!"
Erza's face turned red as she tried to figure out if she had finally crossed the line. She immediately ran back to the bed and searched for "evidence," but to her surprise — and disappointment — there was none.
"What is wrong with him?" Erza didn't know how to react. On one hand, she had little tolerance for romantic situations and even less for intimacy, and on the other, she wondered why nothing had happened with Allen when they had been so close at Akane Resort.
Erza grabbed a pillow and threw it against the wall. As a proper girl, there was no way she could be the one to make the first move, right?
"Maybe I could…"
"Erza, you're already awake?" said Lucy as she walked into the room without knocking. The blonde froze when she saw Erza naked, seemingly fighting an invisible enemy. Then she slowly closed the door.
"Hey, Lucy! At least knock first!" Erza kicked the door and started chasing Lucy.
"Ahh! At least put on some clothes!" Lucy screamed, unable to understand what she had done to deserve being chased by Titania.
Wearing pajamas printed with a chibi version of Allen's face, Juvia came out of her room, brushing her teeth, when she witnessed Erza chasing Lucy.
"Erza! How dare you try to seduce Allen-sama?!"
"You idiot! Can't you see she's chasing me?! In fact, help me!"
Juvia froze for a second, then nodded and proceeded to strip off her pajamas and run after Erza.
"WHY?!" Lucy nearly tripped at the absurd sight.
At that moment, when it seemed things couldn't get worse, Lucy turned the corner and crashed right into Allen.
"What's going on?" Allen asked, dazed. He had heard screams.
"That's what I want to know!" Lucy hid behind Allen just as Erza and Juvia appeared. Seeing Allen, both froze and couldn't avoid crashing into him. Instinctively, he caught them, ending up in a surreal situation.
"Why are you both naked?" Allen exclaimed, eyes wide. Erza's eyes went blank; clearly, her mind couldn't process the embarrassment. Juvia, on the other hand, had a nosebleed from being hugged in this situation.
Allen wasn't made of stone, and after having to cut down his nightly activities because he couldn't go to another world, it was getting hard to hold back.
"2B… Ikaruga…" Allen said, feeling the softness and warmth of both girls in his arms.
"Yes, Master…"
"Yes, young master~"
"You know"
Without him having to say anything else, Ikaruga carried Juvia and 2B picked up Erza. Both maids took them to their rooms. Allen avoided looking and felt he needed a cold shower.
"Wait…"
Lucy clung to his back, pressing her breast against him.
"Lucy, now's not the time to play…" Allen said, grabbing her hands around him to pull free. However,
"No!" Lucy refused to let him go, pressing herself closer.
After being provoked so much, Allen turned around and pinned Lucy against the wall, then began kissing her. She was stunned at first, but fueled by the jealousy she had felt moments ago, she responded, wrapping her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist.
Lucy's blouse came undone, revealing her black bra. Normally, Lucy would have screamed, but this time she didn't. Instead, she blushed and whispered, "Should I get naked too?"
Her innocent, embarrassed attempt at seduction hit Allen's heart and reason directly. It was enough, wasn't it? He had respected every girl he'd met in this world for a long time, yet they never stopped provoking him. And Allen wasn't a novice — he had been in multiple ongoing intimate relationships. Expecting him to do nothing after being provoked for so long was too much.
"Ah❤️~"
Lucy gasped as she felt his lips on her neck. Her temperature rose, her body trembled, and her lips pressed together. It was impossible to stay indifferent to the situation. However, Lucy, who anyone would expect to be shy, surprised him by sliding her hand into Allen's pants.
"…!" Allen stopped, staring at Lucy, who was acting so differently from usual.
"What's wrong?" Lucy asked, her face red as a tomato but not pulling her hand back. Her gaze stayed locked on Allen, refusing to back down. "It's not like this came out of nowhere… I'm a woman too…"
"I see…" Allen decided not to embarrass Lucy and accepted her courage with a smile before leaning in to continue. However, just as their lips were about to meet, she spoke again.
"Although… I'd like to know one thing…" Lucy said, still blushing but frowning slightly with worry. "Allen, what are we?"
"...!"
Allen's eyes widened, falling silent at the question. It was obvious that several girls had feelings for him, Lucy being the first among them, yet their relationship had remained ambiguous despite kissing more than once. It was inevitable that she would want clarity.
Despite her firm gaze, Lucy trembled slightly. She was obviously scared. The words had left her lips, and now uncertainty loomed. What if Allen chose another girl? What would she do then?
Of course, when Lucy had declared to Erza that even if he chose her, she wouldn't give up, deep down she had been afraid. It had been a false alarm, though, because Allen still hadn't answered Erza's feelings due to Jellal's interruption.
"Erza already confessed to you... But, do you think I'd let things get this far if I didn't like you?" Lucy snapped, though she looked on the verge of tears. "If you're going to reject me for Erza, Mira, or Juvia, then do it! If you're going to choose me, then just say it!"
"..." Allen took a deep breath before smiling faintly. "You're right. I guess I've been a bastard. But before I answer, maybe you should hear a story… though you might not like it…"
Seeing Allen's sincere look, Lucy calmed down. She wiped her tears and nodded. She was willing to listen, even if it hurt. Allen, seeing her sweet resolve, stole another kiss.
"You!" Lucy, embarrassed, pushed him away, then muttered in a low voice, "No more kisses until I get your answer…"
Allen didn't want to leave Lucy, so he carried her elsewhere.
"Allen?!"
....
The next day, Erza, Lucy, and Juvia walked toward the guild. Apparently, Allen had left early that morning to pick up a mission.
Erza noticed the faint smile on Lucy's face, though she seemed a bit lost in thought.
"Lucy, did something happen?"
"Hm? No, it's just… I have a few things on my mind I still can't quite sort out…"
"I see…" Erza also became thoughtful. She had wanted to ask about Allen's answer to her confession — it had been almost a week now — but she hadn't gathered the courage she had that day.
Juvia narrowed her eyes and bit her nails. Of the four of them, she felt she was the one who had made the least progress with her beloved Allen-sama.
'Juvia will not lose!' the girl thought, gathering courage.
When they arrived at the guild, there seemed to be some commotion inside. It didn't sound like a fight, but something else entirely. The three exchanged looks before entering.
"Come on, everyone, step right up to Uncle Allen's Miracle Stand!"
Huh?
The three girls froze at the sight. Allen was wearing a straw hat, sunglasses, and a stalk of wheat in his mouth while sitting behind a little table in the middle of the guild.
Everyone in the guild was stunned at the scene, but it wasn't too hard to figure out when you saw the table covered in round bottles filled with different potions.
"Allen, are you sick?!" Natsu shouted, sniffing the potions.
"Don't say nonsense, Natsu. I'm being serious…" Allen crossed his arms arrogantly. "They are all high-quality potions!"
Everyone was in shock. Allen had been acting strange the last few days — more considerate, kinder, and spending less time sitting at the bar drinking coffee in a depressed slump. This new Allen almost seemed like a different person.
Levy walked over and checked his forehead. "Allen-kun, don't push yourself. If you're sick, just say so."
"Levy, I'm not sick…" Allen pinched Levy's nose, making her back away, flustered. Then he addressed the entire guild.
"As you all know, I'm an alchemist. I make potions, remedies, medicine, all kinds of things. Normally, my potions are very expensive, but since you're all my dear companions, I've decided to give you a discount!" Allen smiled like a model citizen trying to help his friends.
But everyone felt a chill, as if they were about to be scammed.
"Seriously?!" Natsu happily looked at the potions and saw one priced at only a hundred Jewels. "Oh, this is cheap!"
Natsu pulled a coin from his pocket and tossed it to Allen, then immediately opened the bottle and drank it.
"Natsu, don't drink something when you don't even know what it is!" Gray yelled, speechless at the Dragon Slayer's stupidity.
"It's fine, right?" Natsu asked, smiling.
"Of course. Even if I have no idea what these potions do, none of them are lethal."
"Muahaha!" Natsu laughed, then blinked. "Wait… what did you say?"
Allen, without losing his friendly smile, replied, "Well, as an alchemist, sometimes potions don't come out right. Other times, altering the formula changes the result completely. So, I have no idea what these potions actually do…"
As soon as he finished speaking, the guild went silent, and everyone turned to look at Natsu.
"Allen!!" Natsu shouted just before his hair fell out and he went completely bald.
The entire place was silent except for Allen adjusting his sunglasses. "So that one makes you bald… interesting."
Everyone's expression screamed, Didn't you just say these were high-quality products?!
"Allen!!" Natsu, filled with rage, lunged at Allen, but Allen dodged and shoved another potion into his mouth.
"Relax, this one's on the house," Allen declared shamelessly, like a complete bastard.
Natsu clutched his stomach and fell to his knees as his body slowly began to change. His voice became higher, his frame more delicate, and not only did his hair grow back, but it also became long. But the most shocking part was the two bumps on his chest that grew to match Lucy's size.
When it was over, Natsu had become a cute girl.
"No!! What did you do to me?!" Natsu screamed. However, her clothes were now loose, almost slipping off and almost exposing her chest. To avoid it, she covered herself, blushing, and glared at Allen — which only made her look even cuter.
"Oh, this could sell for a fortune…" Allen said, rubbing his chin. "Well, ladies and gentlemen, who's next? Don't be shy."
Everyone tensed as Allen turned his gaze toward them.
===
A/N: Allen became a kind-hearted son of a bitch, just look at how he cares for his buddies by giving them very cheap potions.🍷🗿
